This smells like an iced spritzy lime drink on a warm summer evening. It's really fresh and I like it a lot but it does not last long at all. I tried putting it on my clothes, skin, hair, and somehow it doesn't last on anything. I'm not one for reapplying 5 times a day, especially when there are scents you don't have to.

I love Dolce and Gabbana's Light Blue! It's a very clean, fresh scent. Has a soft mixture of almost sugary lemon and lily of the valley, with a settleness of amber. Not an immature scent and not old lady like at all. I will be treating myself to a bottle of this fragrance.

If I could give zero star I would. This was sooooooooo disappointing after the rating and reviews. Upon initially applying I realized it was way too fruity for my liking but DUDE, the same minute I put it on, it IMMEDIATELY came off. No longevity AT ALL WHAT SO EVERRRRRRR. I sprayed it on my wrists and walked into next room for my husband to smell, he said he didn’t smell anything. I sprayed my collar, this time right next to him, took a few steps towards him and he had to basically inject his neck into my shoulder to smell. They weren’t kidding when they named it “light blue” it’s LIGHT alright.

I like this fragrance and it has a light sweet smell. It smells great when you first put it on. After about 30 minutes, it seems to change fragrance and at that point I am not sure if I like it or not. I can honesty say I am not sure I have ever used a fragrance like this. I now know why its a modern classic. This fragrance got me SO many complements. While I was not able to really notice it while wearing it, apparently others did (in a good way). It is very prominent with the bergamot, there is enough musk and floral to bring it down. I fine this fragrance to be very clean and bright - perfect for a hot summer's day.

I really like this one. It does go on strong and then dissipates over time, but I know it’s there and just enough to still smell good. Put one spray on around 6am, went to a long all day event and still at 7pm got told I smell really good.

Definitely not for me. I tend to be a warm floral gal and I occasionally branch into other categories. I have a few fresh fragrances in my collection so I tried out this one. NO. If you are the type to want to smell like a whole bouquet of flowers, a fresh baked pie, or a warm amber glow, this is NOT the fragrance for you ladies. This perfume smells like i kinda walked out of the shower, soap, slightly open-window smell?? Not a bad fragrance but really just not for me. I did not like the way I smelled and I didn’t really feel clean, I felt like i sprayed some laundry soap on myself by accident or had been outside too long. If you are a clean beauty girlie, you might love this but for my floral, warm, and gourmand lover, you may wanna stay away.

I want to rate this more because it smells soo amazing but the longevity is almost a joke. I don't know if it's just me because other people say it lasts longer but for me it goes away almost immediately. My sister tried it and said it lasts okay but for me it goes away almost immediately. I found my new scent in the very first box in my subscription. This is wonderful, so clean and fresh. I am very sensitive to fragrances and get headaches from many that other people might think of as clean and unoffensive. Light Blue passes the test - no headaches at all, even with me wearing as much as three sprays of it. I work in a small office so I'm glad it isn't overpowering. It is not so light that you can't notice it at all - it has a wonderfully refreshing smell that lasts for about 6 hours.

It’s okay, but I wouldn’t wear it. It’s not offensive to the nose, which is nice, but it’s not memorable either. It’s a light citrusy scent with a sweet undertone. Reminds me of a high end sunscreen or the smell of the automatic air fresheners in bathrooms with really nice marble countertops and gold accents.

Now that I’ve had my subscription w/ scentbox.com for a full year now, I’ve really been able to narrow down what my favorite scent characteristics are, which has led to being absolutely obsessed/in love w/ the last 4 or so fragrances I chose (keep in my mind, the majority of these I’ve NEVER gotten to smell before). This perfume is in my top second or third spot for sure, I became in love instantly & found myself wearing it for basically any occasion/time of day. I love the freshness it brings, mixed w/ the citrusy, sweet & fruity elements. I can see myself using this fragrance pretty much forever. So happy I found this perfume!

I knew I loved the mens version but I didn't expect the womens to smell so amazing! It's in a close running for my favorite perfume now! I'm not sure about this perfume. When I first sprayed it there was the sharp smell of grapefruit, nothing but that and that did not sit well with me. However, as it mellowed out it was a nice citrusy fresh scent which I tend to like. Honestly, it smells okay but I don't know if I can get over those top notes.

I currently have Gucci Guilty, Lady Million, CK Euphoria, and Carolina Herrera Good Girl, and I MUST say this is my favorite. There’s a slight citrus smell that is wonderful. I have used Light Blue for years and it was the first perfume I ever bought. To me it smells of citrus, woods, and a bit floral. It is great for the daytime and first dates. While some people have rated it lower due to longevity, if you spray this on your clothes it will last all day! The sillage is moderate. If I am wearing it and someone hugs me they always compliment this scent.

Love the grapefruit top note, clean and just smeels good. I can smell rose later and some other kind of floral and woodsy note. After several hours it just melts close to the skin into this soft warm rose and musk, but still has citrus somehow. Definitely a summer citrus scent, but a grownup one. A summer day citrus beachy scent for sure. I love the top and bottom notes best. Overall, I keep smelling my wrist again and again and this is the second day. I'll likely buy a bottle. It's a keeper.

I sprayed this in a makeup store and remember it smelling so good and wanted to try it. The lemon scent was the first note I smelt and I wasn't fond of that. I felt like it smelt very similar to Pine-Sol. There were other citrus scents present as well, but the lemon was very clear. It settled quickly and the woodsy and musk scents took over. It smells very masculine and like it is a men's cologne. I really don't like that. It smells very good and would be a nice & sexy cologne on a man. I personally do not want to smell like a man. My husband even said it smells just like a Versace cologne he wears. I will probably pass this to my Dad. It doesn't last very long either and is very light. I sprayed my clothes and wrists and could barely smell it on them after about 30 minutes.

I love this scent!! It’s not overwhelming and it’s really bright and lemony smelling. It’s soooo good. It just doesn’t have enough scent power and doesn’t last long enough. I don’t get compliments from even my bf because I’ll ask and he will say “I can only smell it when you first put it on I don’t smell anything now” so I just wish they had an “intense” version of this perfume that would be five stars!! The lemon really comes through initially, but it's *not* a sweet, juicy lemon - it's bright, fizzy, and sharp. I was surprised that it did not get musky in the dry down, the best way I can describe it is that it remained a clean, purely aquatic smell. This is the type of scent (while not necessarily exciting) is something I can see wearing in the office (if we ever return!) and definitely when I know I'll be around people who are sensitive to fragrances. Note, this is mostly a skin scent and the longevity isn't great. Looking forward to experimenting with layering - I can see this brightening up a lot of fragrances.

Then I get the apple too, which reminds me of squeezing citrus over Granny Smith slices to keep them from browning in your packed lunch. The vibe the ads have always given is of a lush Mediterranean beauty, sensual and beachy, always in a sun dress or a bikini. This is a decent, very fresh scent, really would be great for summertime on the beach in my opinion. Felt like it became faint on me pretty quick, but it seems like something others would notice long after I stopped noticing but I didn't wear it in public so I don't know that for sure, I only tried it at home and I didn't go crazy for it nor did my husband so I didn't wear it out. I was hoping for a little bit more of that apple scent to sweeten it up but the apple was very faint to me so it's not for me but I have a co-worker that absolutely loves it, wears it all the time (athough I never smell it on her), so I'm giving my 30-day supply sample to her, she will love it.

One of my favorite light, everyday fragrances. At first it's a little lemony a little light floral then there's this wonderful almost buttery scent. Maybe I don't have a great nose for this but to me there's a slight buttered popcorn scent underneath the other notes and I mean this in the best way possible. I don't think Light Blue would bother anyone even those with perfume sensitivities. (Like me!)

This fragrance is amazing honestly! It's so unique and fresh I absolutely love it. It's light and citrusy and I feel like you could wear it anywhere without fear that someone won't like it! I have a friend who absolutely loves lemon and I'm giving this to her as a gift because I can't think of a scent that fits her more. I love this! It has a very opening/rejuvenating scent. The scent feels very fresh and clean but also has that mysterious underlying tone to it that doesn’t make it overwhelmingly fruity or citrusy. It has beautiful accents that blend the underlying tones into that citrus very well. Two people told me they loved it on the first day. I chose Light Blue for a good friend. This is her favorite, and every time she wears it all of our group comments on the light and pleasant fragrance. She doesn't buy it for herself (has been using samples that come on those little cards) so I figured she was due for a small upgrade. I typically work 6--8 hours with her, and it lasts the whole day. As for sillage: moderate to heavy; arm's length to 6 feet, but not overwhelming.

This is a classic scent that has been around for a long time. I like the way it smells, but it's extremely strong when you put it on and then fades really quickly. Also, I will never forget the time in high school I was wearing a sample of it around a friend who had just gotten back from study abroad in Germany and she told me it smelled like the public bathroom deodorizers they use there. It's not enough to make me stop wearing it all together but it did give me pause haha.

This is my signature smell. First time I used it was in high school. Co-workers now recognize me by this smell, I think its kinda cool. Light blue is a very fresh, clean and young fragrance for summer or hot weather climates. You can really smell the citrusy tones at the opening and at the end you can smell the woodsy tones. Would wear it during the day fragrance, not so much for night time. It is casual yet ok to use for the office. Longevity I would say 6-7hrs, but because my nose is so use to the smell I stop smelling it after 5 hours. Silage- at the beginning 1-3 hrs 3 ft, 4-6 hrs closer to the shoulders, after 7-8hrs you would have to be close to the skin to smell it. Would totally recommend it.

Light Blue is the most inoffensive scent I have every worn! It is light, slightly sweet, with hints of clean citrus. This is the perfect scent to wear to work or places that you are not sure what is appropriate to wear, or for those days when you don’t really want to think about what you are putting on. It works great for everyday use. I get average longevity with this scent (about 4 to 5 hours). This is a great scent to have, but not crucial for the fragrance lover.

The One is not sweeter than Light Blue... It's a deeper and more woodsy scent. I don't smell any fruits or sugar in it at all. While LB is clean and fruity, in a crisp way.

I bought this perfume after reading all the rave reviews. I regretted my purchase instantly! This smells more like alcohol with lemons mixed in. The musk smell didn't show up until hours later, by then the scent was so light I couldn't smell much of anything. Don't waste your money on this. I like scents such as Estee Lauder Pleasures and Ralph Lauren Romance.

I think that some people have been underestimating (or overestimating) the scent of Light Blue by Dolce and Gabbana. The fact of the matter is that the way the scent smells on you will ultimately be different based on age, ethnicity and the sheer color of your skin. I have owned this fragrance for awhile now and I love it. I always get compliments on it. This one would be in the same class as Prada Infusion D'iris...they remind me a little of each other. I love Light Blue. I loved the men's D&G cologne so when they came out with this one, I had to try it. I often can't smell it on myself but have people tell me all the time how good it smells. If you like the combination of cedar chips and grated grapefruit peels, you have found your scent. Lovely packaging though, especially the suedy box. Incidentally, the body lotion I based my purchase of the spray on, smelled heavenly. The spray made me feel self-conscious and embarrassed, it was so tangy and pungent. Based on a sampling at the mall and all the glowing reviews, I bought a big bottle of this stuff and right away regretted my purchase. It had leaked into the box in the mail and I had to move it to the garage because it was so strong. No perfume has ever induced a headache for me up until now. I have to wonder if designers pay people to rave about their expensive perfumes. I'm happy for the folks who find this scent "light, clean and fresh". I find it to be just the opposite and I don't understand all the hype. If it works for others, great, but Light Blue is an olfactory offense in my humble opion. I will continue my search for the perfect daytime fragrance.

Light Blue sometimes has that effect on me, too (nausea). I think it's the combination of citrus and musk - the same thing happens with Un Air D'Habanita which has citrus and musk, too. It's not a good combination in my opinion. But, I just wait for those topnotes to go away and they both settle down into something nice. I like the cedary/musky basenotes of Light Blue.

Whoa....you need to be extremely careful with this one and only use ONE spray....PLEASE! I own this and I hardly use it...it's very harsh on me. I have smelled it on others and it can be nice and at other times just way too much. I think the best way to wear this is by just using on spray.....it's all you need. It has really good staying power....so it would last. Wear it well and it would be nice. Spray too much...beware you will be spreading migraine headaches to those around you.

First of all almost everyone has worn this, and still do. It is nice for a citrus-fruity scent, not too sweet. It does have cedar in it, to give it a spicy edge in dry down. It is on me, very long lasting, about 10 hours. I sprayed it on an hour before I went to sleep, and I still smelled it well into the next morning. Not my typical scent, but nice.

This scent is wonderful. I love the green apple and citrus smell when I first spray it on and as the day it develops a subtle floral/musk scent. My boyfriend goes absolutely nuts over it. He wears Tommy Bahama Very Cool, which is also wonderful. This scent does last - even though I usually can't smell it on myself after a few hours, other people mention how refreshing it is. This does not bother my allergies at all, which is rare for me.

Very nice! When I first spray it, there is something odd about it. However, once it dries a little, I find the smell light, lovely, and serene. It has hints of apple but also something sweet, like honey or amber or something like that. Also, you can't spray too much on you. It's not very strong, so you won't overwhelm your office with it. That's what I'm seeing in all the comments. Either D&G LB works well with your body, and you love it, or it fails, and you hate it. Fair enough. On me, it turns dry-fruity-woodsy, very light and refined; lasts several hours; scent continues to dry and -- I don't usually like scents described as "powdery", but I like this -- get very soft. On me. My sympathies to those who wanted to enjoy it, but their chemistry wouldn't play along.

I went to the mall with the intention to purchase a bottle of Coco Mademoiselle when it hit me that maybe I should try something different. The sales girl completely convinced me to buy this and I am SO happy that she did!!! I've seen this perfume around for a while, but never thought much of it (because it's "supposedly" classified as a floral--which I hate), but it's very much more of a woody citrus in my opinion. This is my second post. I bought a mini of this scent and after wearing it for a while, I've decieded that I like it for the most part. It smells great, BUT can smell a little...chemically or something. Not always though and not on everybody. Chemistry, I'm sure plays a role as does weather. Ihave a client who wears this perfume and she smelled great one day and the next, chemically. Right now I'm in that chemical smelling phase but I will keep it around for whent the mood strikes.

I usually wear spicy or exotic scents like Fendi or Jungle by Kenzo, but I wanted to try something more fresh & cleaner. The salesgirl suggested buying a small bottle of this. I like it somewhat, but it can be to me, a little annoying after awhile. I guess when you get used to a warmer scent, this could be a bit too "perky". It is something for me, to get used to wearing, before I like it. I'm glad though, the salesgirl, told me to start off with the smallest size bottle. She has known me for awhile, and knows I'm particular with certain scents. It's hard for me to like a green, clean, flowery, or citrusy scent. Maybe someday...who knows?

I was shopping the other day and a lady standing next to me was wearing this. I kept smelling something great and I had to ask her what she was wearing, because to me it smelled woody. I love a woody (oriental) scent, but usually heavier. This was awesome. I am going to get me a bottle and I'll post my comments after I wear it. According to this website most people give it 5 stars, so it can't be all bad. I have very oily skin and scents linger well on me and I think this one will, too. If you have dry skin, maybe that's why you can't smell it or you have to layer it. Toodle-loo.

First of all let me say that I LOVE Dolce & Gabana -the red- I, like Amy, was intrigued by it. One of my coworkers said it was so good and she's a little picky when picking out perfumes. She brought it in today so I could smell it and BOY.... I can't go home fast enough to wash it off my wrist and trust me... I have tried to wash it off several times. I guess that is a good thing if you want staying power. This is certainly not the fragrance for me. I really did want to like it. I kept smelling it throughout the day even when I really did not want to. It might be the wrong body chemistry for it but I thought the citrusy smell gave it a "pledge-lysol-like" quality. Also VERY earthy... almost moldy to me. Sorry to those who love Light Blue :(

I took my first wiff of this perfume today and... I think I like it! I didn't test it on my skin b/c I was already wearing perfume but since I've been home I keep thinking about it... that usually means I like it! I don't know if anyone elase noticed, but it came across to me as very musky. In a good way! Smells clean, mysterious, earthy. I'm going to have to test again tomorrow! For now I'm giving it 5 stars.

While that's absolutely WONDERFUL in one sense -- I love smelling it on the bus, at work, while I'm shopping, at my favourite coffee shop; the whole world has discovered its fresh, green apple and white rose and sweet cedar charms -- for myself, just at the tail end of my bottle, I'll be closing that chapter of my fragrance book and moving on. I'd just rather (this is just quirky ol' me) wear something a little different and unique and original. So, if you love Light Blue, too (isn't it lovely???), but prefer to wear something a little more under the radar, DO try Moschino's I Love Love -- it's just exploding with green apple fruit, very invigorating -- or Anna Sui Secret Wish, which comes on more subtly with pineapple and apricot to round out the green apple. Then, instead of people coming up to you and saying, "Mmmm, you're wearing Light Blue, aren't you? I love it!" they'll be saying, "Mmmm, you smell heavenly! What on earth are you wearing?? I WANT some!!!" (Also, have a great deal of empathy for fragrance companies without the advertising budget of Dolce and Gabbana who haven't managed to score themselves a huge blockbuster like Light Blue, and I always like to support quieter successes. . .) And if anyone has any other suggestions for me in terms of Light-Blue-like scents, I'd love to hear them! xxoo

this is so soft and warm...made my heart pound hard when I first smelled it off my girlfriend. This fragrance is not one of those typical female one's. Not too strong and HONESTLY SPEAKING... PERFECT ZEN BALANCE. I couldn't stop smiling and was totally captivated. It is very joyful and fresh almost like your walking on clouds and flying. Imagine an image of a beautiful young angel with wings slowly drifting in the clouds...she would smell like this for sure.I honestly dread most female perfumes due to the heaviness in florals. But this is quite the unusual rare. Its very light and does grab attention to almost all guys. I believe it to be THE BEST women's perfume. Honestly, every single lady must try this one.

I bought this one after reading all the comments. And when i sprayed it on me, I was trying to look for that grandma smell, but i just couldn't find it. It's funny how people said it smells like old people:)) Although the drydown smell is not too good, but it's definately not bad. And another thing, it doesn't smell all that great on me when I wear it, but when my mom wears it or my friends it smells soo much better. I guess it smells better from a distance. Weird huh.

This fragrance is so yummy! The different notes blend together to form a unique & intense experience. I really like it a lot (and I'm pretty picky!) Try it for yourself - this doesn't smell musty or anything like that to me and my sensitive nose. It has great staying power and is potent ... you need a light touch and don't overdo ... not necessary here. I can't get over how beautiful this scent is ~ it is just so different! I personally would wear it in the cooler months (although I know many refer to it as a summer fragrance, I wouldn't wear this in the hot weather - too complex.) Definitely give this a try at the fragrance counter and see how it smells on you ... don't take my or anybody else's word for it; something this unique is bound to smell differently on people, so don't judge without trying it first. A few days ago I wore Light Blue again and as my fiance walked into the house and I greeted him I watched his smile grow BIGGER AND BIGGER and all he said was, "you wore that on our first date!" He always remembers when I wear Light Blue... our whole first date, in fact the first few months when we started dating that was all I wore. He loved it from the very first moment, and so I thought why not make this our scent. Now I'm back to wearing and daily rotating my other fragrances, but Light Blue will always be my little reminder for him of our initial days together. And yes I really do like Light Blue, musty or not... it's funny that at first I was not too crazy about it myself either, but there has to be something there... in Europe at Sephora Light Blue is number 1 seller. The other thing is that before I bought it I've sampled it a few times with a different guy friends and they all just love Light Blue... So go figure! If it smells that good on me I will most certainly wear it.

I liked this one when I first smelled one of the samples in a mag. All mag samples are the lightest the scent could be and it's really nice...soft. I rushed to go buy it and found I was less sure when smelling it at the dept store. My impression was also that it was a bit musky in a manly way. I got it anyway, against the advice of my friends and thought it smelled pretty good on me. The same friends who advised against the purchase also said it is better on than in the bottle or on the spray cards they use in dept stores. Overall, when used sparingly, it's perfectly light and soft, not masculine at all.

But I am on my 2nd bottle and it's summer... I have seen many comments about Light Blue, describing it as a summery scent. To be honest I do prefer it in winter, or at least slightly cooler temperatures. The bottle I got in winter was finished in no time and left me wanting for more... I got my 2nd bottle at the beginning of the summer yet the high temperatures just don't make me want to wear it - then again it may be the humidity that puts me off. Also, I found that Light Blue has a pretty good staying power so it might be just the skin chemistry that makes it disapper on some - once again a good advice given by many is to try for yourself. After all no one wants to smell like BUG SPRAY - not even campers!

In a discount store I ran into a woman who claimed to be a perfume expert. She refered me to light blue. I smelled it out of the box and it had a nice citrus smell to it. I purchased it and put it on when I got to the car. After about an hour of wearing it, the scent kept getting stronger and stronger. It was unbearable! I smelled like...a spice rack. It had this odd floral and spice scent to it. The smell was just horrible. I returned the perfume, went home, and took a shower. It was so bad that it gave the people in the car with me a headache. you must be very careful with light blue. it is NOT good on many people. i smelled it on someone else and it was wonderful. i tried it and it was horrid. it turned to smelling like bug spray, it was worse than bug spray, i would have rather smelled like bug spray!!! i have seen a lot of people write that it smelled like bug spray on them, BELIEVE IT!!!!! they mean it literally. test it and wear it for the rest of the day to see what happens before you shell ot the money for it.

I love Light Blue! I love most of the citrusy fresh scents anyhow. Light Blue reminds me of a lemonade.. but not that sour... so, I'd say a cold lemon drink. This scent is perfect for summer. Young and fresh... care free... not too sweet... smells yummy... kind of like candy (not the perfume).. but is not overly sweet. The only thing I don't like is that it has no staying power. Sprayed it on... and then after about 1 hour, I can't smell it any more... I've to rub the sprayed spot and hold my fingers to my nose... then I can smell the remaining drydown of it. I wish it has a EDP version. I love this fragrance but it doesn't stay... That's why only 4 stars... I'd have given it 5 stars if it has more presence.

Light Blue is young and fresh... Even with its opening notes it spells out: "I Love Life, and Live It To The Fullest!" I think of it as a feminine scent, however I can see how some men might like to wear it. Light Blue has slightly citrusy undertones that are not overly feminine so this might be one of the reasons guys would be interested in wearing it.

I found, also an Italian designer, Krizia's Eau De Krizia is very much like LB. I have a side by side sniff test, the top note of Krizia have a bit floral smell that LB haven't, but the middle to base note is exactly the same. My brother said it is even better than LB! So if you girls/guys who love LB can locate Eau De Krizia, don't miss it!

Light Blue indeed can be an unisex perfume! Men can carry the musk and woody base very well. My younger brother likes to put on the LB body lotion after swim, so I pass my bottle to him as I have so much other perfumes. I've introduced lots of men perfume to him but he seems only love LB! Light Blue is one of the perfumes I have tried in my - as it seems - endless search for a perfume that is "me". Thinking it would smell fresh from lemon and apple, I was disappointed to find it smelling like some kind of cleaning solution. Can anyone recommend a fresh perfume (fruity and/or floral) that isn't too sweet? I should tell you that I can't stand Escadas fruity perfumes, for instance "Island Kiss", which is just too sugary-sweet. Help is much appreciated - I'm getting desperate!

I think that Imagine Shimmer smell alot like Lt Blue except that there is a little something missing - maybe the bluebells. I don't think that the original Shimmer is the same smell as the Imagine Shimmer. It has more of a sweet powdery smell. Reminds me of Miracle my Lancome.

To me most women's fragrances created today lack originality and allure. When my wife and I smell some of the women's fragrances at the mall I'm usually not very impressed when she asks me to smell a particular scent. Most smell like the other scents or overlap. However, I did like D&C Light Blue. I especially like it when she wears it. To me it is a subtle, sensual scent, and very feminine. Wear it lightly, don't spray it on heavy. This goes for any perfume or cologne.

i first smelled this when i was in hong kong and i absolutely fell in love with it. the scent was very unique and unlike anything i had ever smelled. most perfumes have a great smelling top note but usually turns too musky or too sweet at the end and i hate it. this one was light and airy and actually smelled better the longer i had it on. i would suggest trying it out first before purchasing. if you enjoy fresh citrusy/floral scent, definitey give light blue a try!

I took a "perfume personality" test and it said that this perfume was perfect for me. I found it here, read the reviews and was really excited about trying it. The longer I wore it, the more concerned I became. When my boyfriend smelled it, he asked if my 2 year old had a dirty diaper. I have a very special male friend who goes nuts when he smells this on me. When he comes to visit, he goes straight to the dresser to open the bottle and inhale. I can't say here what he says, but it drives him wild. I laugh every time I see him marching over to the dresser. Well I struggled with this scent because although I was attracted to it, my body chemistry somehow managed to make the citrus too punchy and sharp. Anyhow my husband loved it and bought me a bottle so I am wearing it for now.For those of you who find Light Blue a little procey..try Roots for her..its half the price and my nose doesnt detect a difference between them. I think this scent is more suitable for daytime or summer months.

I really, really wanted to like this one but I just couldn’t. I smelled okay in the bottle and even okay on my skin for a minute, but then it seemed to separate and I just smelled like I spilled grapefruit juice or Fresca on myself. Obviously it doesn’t work with my chemistry, but even on other people it just smells like a BodyShop or Avon type scent, i.e, kinda cheap. I think I can smell what they were trying to accomplish with this one, but it smells more like air freshener than a perfume.

Hated this scent! Liked it as a quick pick me up for its grapefruity smell, but then it just hung onto me all day smelling like Pez. I first smelled Light Blue on a paper strip at a mall and fell in love with it. Went back to try it on and loved it even more. Finally bought it in a pack of two 3.4oz bottles and wouldn't you know it, the first time I wore it for a full day I became literally ill. Gave it a few more tries and had the same results. So I gave the used botttle to a girl at work who said she liked the scent, and am keeping the second bottle as an emergency birthday present--but so far I haven't had the heart to give it to any of my friends for fear it'd cause the same reaction in them. I really thought I was going to like this perfume from the description. When I first put it on it reminded me of Deep Woods OFF bug spray! Got a sample of Light Blue recently. Some of the posts on this site state that Lt Blue is very similar to Eclat D'Arpege. They're correct. The opening notes of Lt Blue are very redolent of Eclat. The dry down of Lt Blue is different; at least it is on me and to my nose. The dry down of Lt Blue is quite nice, actually and is what the dry down of White Linen SHOULD smell like. White Linen has long been a "teaser" to my nose---my nose thinks White Linen will go one way when, in fact, the fragrance goes the opposite direction. And that, my friends, is not a good thing! Again, this is my nose; yours may process these fragrances differently. But back to Lt Blue and Eclat D'Arpege. Eclat is still my favorite, but Lt Blue is quite nice as well and seems to have longer lasting power than Eclat. So, if you like Lt Blue, try Eclat D'Arpege for something similar but with some differences as well. Both are lovely fragrances. If you like one, you can't go wrong with the other.

I bought Light Blue because I loved it so much but it's gone in 5 seconds. I also wear Gucci Rush wich i like but some may find it a little sharp. defeinitely a comfident woman's scent. Shimmer is just Imagine with silver shimmer in it. Unless you particularly want shimmer in the fragrance, buy Imagine.. it smells almost exactly like light blue but lasts a little longer. my husband constantly says "God you smell so good" when I wear this. Just bought Light Blue 2 wks ago & can't get enough, I love it so much. It's scent doesn't seem to smell to me after awhile, but others can smell it. Getting compliments. I've heard this is the sign of a perfume that is suited to your metabolism. I've had a few people put it on their Christmas list. Who says it's only a summer fragrance?

I read that this has apple and lemon notes in it and expected it to smell sharp and sour. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it didn't. It's a nice fresh sweet scent with subtle underlying florals. Great summer or casual day scent. Nice.

this D&G perfume is my favorite .on me it mellows to a crisp powdery woodsy smell similare to amarige, but with out the heavy floral the apple is cute ,and fresh like sparkeling cider. It is truely a unique smell.. and I get comments where ever I go if you like aniais anias, amarige, or other sents that have that powdery after effect try it!!!!ps. if any one knows of other perfumes that are similar to the ones I mentioned let me know!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a wonderful scent. I never went for fruity perfumes, but this is just special. And it does last, I think the thing is that the perfume cointains something that your nose gets used to very quickly, so you can't feel it anymore. I remember, the first time I've put it on, I could smell it for hours later. The more I was using it, the less i could smell it. Then I didn't use it for some time. I've put it on, and I could smell it the next day still. Sooo...in conclusion. IT HAS LASTING POWER! And the apple notes are irresisteble!
