This is VERY floral forward. If the idea of shoving your face into a bouquet of peonies appeals to you, like it does me, then this scent is for you. It's a very bright scent that seems like something a young, wealthy, stuck-up socialite would wear to semi-important meetings. I love the way this smells, it just doesn't last nearly as long as I'd hoped. It may be my nose, I'm not sure. It seems that I have to reapply at least once a day, usually 2-3 times. I would personally give this 1 star because it didn't work well for me, but I gave it 2 stars because it has amazing longevity and you can smell it all around. It is just not for me. The smell isn’t bad and I am not opposed to a strong, lasting scent- however this one is overwhelmingly flowery and powdery-complete opposite of what I typically go for. I don’t really know how else to explain it besides saying it is incredibly “perfume-y”. I got a headache from it that didn’t stop until I washed it off. Bright Crystal is a very suiting name for this fragrance. Bright is the first word that comes to mind when I sniff this one. It is so fresh smelling it reminds me of hopping out of the shower squeaky clean after using a citrusy body wash. It almost transports me there on days that feel a bit gloomy. I got this subscription for my wife and she loves this scent. I have to say I am particularly fond of it on her as well. Smells amazing from the very moment she sprays it on all the way through the dry down and it seems to last pretty well on her. This one surprised me! It’s definitely a step up in maturity, longevity, as well as complexity even ( although just a tad more interesting) than its predecessor… the original “Bright crystal”. If you’re looking for a hint of that familiar, notorious scent but with a nice edge and sone more attitude… you’ll like this one. Fruity, floral in a soft way, and fresh… lower end of longevity IMO but lasts much longer than the original scent.

To summarize, I love this scent but I don't love it on me. The scent is very fresh and floral and gives a young and vibrant touch to anyone wearing it. This said, I don't really have anything bad to say about this scent but I just don't think this one meshes well with my own natural scent. I didn't like it for me, but I couldn't bring myself to bash the scent because it's a very good scent just not for me. I would recommend this perfume to anyone who likes fun and fresh yet moderate scents that don't overwhelm or spread to other people you come in contact with. Instead of returning it, I gifted this one to someone who I think does have a natural scent that agrees with this perfume and she likes it so much she bought a whole bottle.

It's a very bright, fresh scent. Sweet, but not like candy. I can see why it has good reviews. It almost smells a bit too youthful though. And I'm 25... I feel like I've smelt something very similar in the Victoria's Secret PINK body spray section or maybe one of the cheap perfumes you can find in Forever 21. It also smells common, not very unique in my opinion. I want to like it, but I'm unsure so far. Definitely a day time smell though, which I needed in my collection. Just got it today and my first impression is it’s very powerful but more of a floral scent than sweet. It kind of reminds me of the lotion my grandmother used to put on after a bath. I have had it on a couple of hours and it still smells as strong as when I first put it on but we will see as the night goes on how long it lasts. I will keep it and see what my husband thinks and see if coworkers give me compliments because they are all pretty honest. It's light fragrance, I barely noticed it.. but when the wind would pass or I would make a quick turn.. I would catch the scent here and there.. all day long. Very girly and day time appropriate. It's a light floral and clean smell, with my body chemistry. With people's varying body chemistry, the scent may react differently.. so, to give you an idea, I typically use the original dove soap and I go between secret deodarant and dove deodorant.. those scents last on me all day as well. I have no noticable personal scent, so it seems whatever I put on myself will be the dominant fragrance. So, if you find yourself with a similar body chemistry, you may like this fragrance.

"Meh." That's the general feeling I get while inhaling and wearing this fragrance. It's not offensive, I don't hate it...but it's not outstanding and I don't love it. When I first spray it, it reminds me of grapefruits, even though that's not one of the fragrance notes mentioned in its description. After an hour, all I smell is a basic floral-fruity scent that has no distinction or uniqueness. I understand why this is popular though, because it's a great composition for the general public. But I am more drawn to scents that might get described as weird, maybe even pleasantly pungent. I would probably like Versace Bright Crystal Absolu more if it had just one more fragrance note, something along the lines of pepper or ginger. But overall, I think a lot of people will like this as an easy-to-wear, hard-to-be-offended-by-it perfume.

The fragrance is aptly named and colored appropriately. The fruits in the scent are so bright. I really think the pomegranate offers something special that other fruity-berry fragrances don’t have. I really had to use a lot for it to be detectable, and at least on me it projected somewhat poorly, then faded. But I will try it again in the summer, because I think it is a very appropriate hot weather scent.
