Smells like a perfume my grandmother would wear. It’s overly sweet and strong. It isn’t a masculine scent whatsoever. It’s much more akin to a classic feminine scent.

Warm, mature scent.

Smells great right from the opening through the dry down, but it's longevity and sillage leaves much to be desired.

This scent is a 1 to 1 clone of my grandfathers house.

I gave it 3 stars because it doesn't stink. However, if you're expecting this fragrance to smell manly, you'll be disappointed. It leans toward more of a feminine aroma than anything else. I expected more from Tom Ford and all the rave reviews of his other men's colognes. I'd definitely enjoy smelling this fragrance on a woman though.

Trash old man

I had high expectations for this one, perhaps too high. It is pretty much your standard spicy amber oriental, a good one that is, but nonetheless not very unique compared to the many strange, beastly niche orientals out there. It feels quite high fashion and a touch cosmetic, but feels like it'smissing a floral-like note...maybe a rose or jasmine. Definitely not bad by any means, a possible signature type scent, but certainly not mine. I’ve still to test the extreme version, which is supposed to be the better one.

Generally love Tom Ford fragrances but this one is a little different. Back notes of Oud, which smells quite nice.

old lady scent

I normally love Tom Ford’s fragrances. They are truly inventive and unique. Noir is a solid like for me but probably not enough for a purchase since they are so expensive. The initial scent is quite mature and powdery very incense to my nose. I rather liked the dry down when a lot of the powder notes disappeared. There is a unique scent in Noir that I can’t put my finger on which I love but unfortunately it’s fleeting.

smells like baby powder, nothing against grandparents, but this smells like a senior center fall dance, surprised it didn't come with a doily and some hard candies

I really wanted to like this scent, but it did not smell good on me. Several people said it smelled like an old woman and I did not listen and should have. It smelled like cheap old lady perfume.

Good fragrance, fair longevity I found.

Exceptional fragrance. Classic. Strong. Fully masculine. There's a little cherry bark at the front which fades into woodsy/musky. It's complex and appeals

I was excited to get this. Its not my favorite but I like it. I was hoping for more of a BAM since it was TOM FORD. but I didn't get that. It's a subtle fragrance. For a Premium product I was disappointed.. It was not any more special them a non premium product. Smell last for about 4-6 hours.

Classy clean smell. Not too strong but long lasting. Flowery/baby powder scent. It’s not a casual scent, feels right when you are dressed up though.

Mature fragrance in the sense of wine (same as all Tom Ford fragrances). This isn't a fragrance for everyone, but people that enjoy fragrances, have collections or are looking for something bold would really enjoy this. Very stylish and bold fragrance, more on the fresh side of things, I really pick up on the patchouli and slight vanilla scents as the fragrance breathes.

VERY powdery scent once you spray it.. takes about 10 mins for it to set in to smell anything other and a powdery scent. Very floral afterwards and only last a few hours at max.

I requested Tom ford noir because I love it when I purchased it before. I was happy to see it was a offered by you. So it is with a heavy heart I must say the scent is off, strong, over powering, to floral, seems more of a women's scent.

Definitely more flower type scent i normally wear but girlfriend has reacted positively to it so tha'ts good.

This smells reminds me of a dapper wizard. Little heavy on the patchouli. But it's nice.

Would not recommend to anyone really, had a very strong odor of baby powder and soapy smell.

I like this scent

The fragrance is a flowery masculine scent, seems like an oxymoron but it is not. Top notes are very floral, dry down is starts showing its masculine roots. Base note are a powdery vanilla aroma. Lasts 6-7 hours on me but sits close to the skin after an hour or so. My main problem with the scent is that it is advertised as a Noir scent, it is not sexy or made for the night. Feels like a classic floral scent for men. My wife did not like it she thought it smelled feminine. A good scent but does not fit the image they are selling.

Fairly new to SCENTBOX so I added some scents for him to my order and again was totally satisfied and so was he because he usually stick to just two fragrances and SCENTBOX and I changed that. The new scent woke up some old things. I'm HAPPY we are HAPPY !!!

Didn’t like the smell

The worst cologne i have received so far. Nothing against scentbox at all. This is just a solid powder bomb! Yuck!!

This really stinks to me. but that is my opinion. way to powdery smelling, must be the VANILLA combination.

Not bad was expecting something a little different probably wouldn't try a full bottle of this but it's a decent way to go.

Its not anything like other Tom Fords ,I expected more of a masculine scent but it's very girly I wont buy this one.

Its not bad. My gf doesn't really care for it though. Not quite what i expected from a guy who sells $200+ colognes. It stays with you for a bit so the longevity is pretty good.

It is a pleasant enough scent, though it lacks the expected Tom Ford "Bang." That is to say I had higher hopes from such a talented and fastidious designer. Still, it's nice and works well for formal and evening outings.

I love this scent. Does seem to be for more of a formal occasion. Most Tom Ford fragrances smell awesome. Classy and last a long time.
