Good, but not amazing This is not as harsh a review as what I've written above. So far, with ScentBox, I have tried 7 different fragrances, and, I believe, it's been a fascinating experience, because rather than just getting attacked in a store or getting bombarded by several scents in a store, I am living with and experiencing the scents for a month - seeing how others react, experiencing the longevity and the sillage (throw). So, let's turn to this month's choice - D&G - The One. This is a good scent, but, for me, it's kind of an "also ran." The best thing I can say about this scent is that it's well liked by everyone and appropriate for pretty much every occasion. Likely, no one is going to criticize your choice (which, in business, is a big bonus). Going on a date? No problem - I don't think anyone is going to negatively remember you for this scent. Now, I think it's important to note that everyone experiences fragrances differently, and if you love this - awesome - perhaps your body oils mix well with the fragrance and it's a great match Negatives - I prefer scents with better longevity, and I get about 1/2 a day out of this, but that's personal preference. Don't get discouraged with my review - if you think this is The One for you, give it a shot.

This is my second D/g, neither have been disappointing. Definitely gives Off a warm tone but the smell is great.

Smells fine, nothing offensive, but it's incredibly weak. I can really only smell the sort of amber scent and some general sugary sweetness to it. Very different from what I expected. Maybe I got a bad sample, but there's no depth to it at all. I can spray like 6 times and barely smell anything other than sweet.

This is a very well-rounded fragrance, but it doesn’t stand out. I’m a huge fan of D&G Grey, but it doesn’t have great sillage. This one is slightly better, but not by much. I think it seems like it has better sillage just because it’s a stronger overall smell. I end up using way more than I would with other fragrances. I would say this is a great starter fragrance - not too overwhelming in any aspect.

Not what I thought it would be. Especially for the Name and supposed quality of the cologne. All and all it’s ok. There’s a lot better fragrances out there though in my opinion.

I’m a tough critic so yeah let’s get to the point. The perfume itself smells great, I think it’s an all day type of perfume and the perfect amount of everything. You will love this fragrance but my biggest issue is that it doesn’t last, after an hour or two you can barely smell anything. You might get whiffs here and there but it doesn’t last long at all.

The two reasons I wear cologne....I like to smell good, and I like it when it gets noticed. This cologne has gotten several compliments the first time i wore it. It is definitely a date night cologne in my opinion because it isn't an all day strong scent. That is my only complaint, i wish the scene would last longer, it fades after about 6 hours.

This is a slightly perfumy, office-friendly fragrance. It is sweat and lightly sexy. It does not seem to last very long, but still lingers very close to the skin. It is very close to Yves Saint Laurent, LA NUIT DE L'HOMME, but not as good or long lasting. I recommend trying La Nuit, if you like D & G the one.

Man this is the perfect. Cologne if you’re like 60 and you like to smell good. It’s a good smell for that older retired swag kind of guy. However I’m 25 . I tried it twice and I actually couldn’t wait for the scent to go away those days.

This is a great fall scent and not overbearing at all. It is a weak concentration and longevity is not strong in my opinion (maybe 2-3 hours?). Very safe scent to choose and very pleasant as well.

If it lasted I give it 5 but it’s good I love the Eau De Parfum more I love that more and it last longer on me. But I like this one too just have spray double times a day

After reading the all the other reviews, I feel like mine might be a bit of an outlier. It was ok, but I was not impressed with the staying power. Even after using 4-5 sprays in the morning, it was barely detectable by the evening when I came home. Scent is ok, but it seems to share many qualities with others that I have tried. That is to say: not very distinctive at all

This is a must have for all men.

This is what I would consider a standard fragrance for men. It's classic and tenured in both it's depth and focus. I have an awful sense of smell, so I am not able to distinguish specific ingredients or aromas. However, when judging the cologne as a whole, this one is rustic and dependable. The only thing that should be mentioned is that this cologne is definitely on the heavy side and can become overdone if too much is applied. I would not use the words fresh or crisp to describe this one.

Sophisticated, masculine, lil bit sweet long lasting scent. Very good for smokers. After several times wearing it got bored and now it´s my dust trap in the bathroom. The Aftershave it´s pretty good, calms the skin very nice, the Deodorant Stick works about 8 hours.

If you want one of the best. buy this and you won't be disappointed. Take it from someone who is not easily satisfied with fragrances.

THIS IS THE "ONE" THAT SHOULD BE WORN OR SMELLED BY NO "ONE"... D&G COULD'VE CAME BETTER THAN THIS ATROCITY.

hey perfumelovers...from the very first whiff i am not at all satisfied by this fragrance...smells like a cheap womens fragrance.in my opinion this is definitely not the one!

"The One" by Dolce & Gabbana is "The One" for me! Lives up to it's description in every sense of the word. Bound to be a classic for years to come!

This is really nice, very subtle and smooth, sexy in a quiet way. Pretty restrained for a D&G scent, actually. One of those "can't go wrong" scents...only four stars, though, because is lacks that edge that makes it stand out from the crowd.

It kind of reminds of Nina Ricci Club for men. I can't find this cologne anywhere so this will have to do.
