It smells very fresh and young to me. I used to wear the original happy when I was in high school, and this has a similar vibe. This one is more on the floral side though. I feel like the lasting power is just okay, but because the scent isn’t a super strong one, that makes sense. Overall I really enjoyed it.

I love Happy, so I decided to try this. I'm not sure about it. At some points when you first spray it, it smells like some perm solution for your hair. But then another note hits and its a sweet, citrus-y scent. I just, eh... I don't know... It's not my favorite.

I did not think that I would like this fragrance initially. It has a way of growing on you. I've gotten compliments on it, which really surprised me. It opens like an amber-laden cloud on me and I do not play well with anything amber scented. It transforms though at dry down into something like an Hermès Un Jardin Sur Le Nil, which I absolutely adore. It doesn't have the longevity or sillage of an Hermès fragrance.

Not for me. It is a crisp, sharp fresh smell. Like a cucumber and a flower were frozen and wafted under your nose. If you love very very fresh scent you'll like it, but if you don't like cucumber or the original Happy scent, you will not like this.

I'm kicking myself as I type this because I am pregnant and bought a 75 ml bottle of this stuff after convincing myself that I actually like it. In all honesty, I do NOT. I received the sample in the mail after running through my Clinique 'Happy' perfume. I loved LOVE love the original scent. It reminds me of summer and has a dry down on my skin that lasts most of the day. I receive compliments on it all the time. So I figured I'd give this scent a go as well. As soon as I spayed the sample I initially thought, 'This smells like a scratch off scent in a magazine'. I didn't like it at all. It smelled too chemically. But I wore it again the next day and just assumed I was being a harsh critic. I truly convinced myself that it smelled good and (I'll blame this on pregnancy hormones) bought a FULL bottle. I'm so mad at myself because now I can't stand the smell. It's too chemically and over powering. It doesn't even smell like anything in particular in my opinion. And it only BARELY reminds me of the original 'Happy'. Not enough to purchase again. I spent $75 on a fragrance I probably will never use. Lesson learned.

I put this on right after a shower, still somewhat wet. 12 hours later I could smell it. It's fresh and fruity, almost like a light water-pepper-flower scent. Fragrances everyone love don't work for me and fragrances everyone hates seem to be great. What is wrong with my skin???

Thought I would like this with the watery cucumber hyacinth, but I hated it. Liked the original Happy better. Maybe the blonde woods note isn't my thing? Seems like I tried another that I surprisingly didn't like and I thought it was maybe that...it was very green and almost bitter on me like when I try most citrus and musk combos with my chemistry.

Will try my best to describe this.. it’s sort of like your favorite perfume turned, went stale or is old but you can still smell that freshness that wants to burst out from the background but can’t and won’t... - because of it, this fragrance is immediately nauseating. Don't get me wrong, there are some parts of this fragrance that I like but others that I hate and almost make me nauseated. I love the fresh, light and breezy scent it provides. It is heavy and long lasting which is great if I absolutely loved it. BUT it gives off a cucumber-like scent that I cannot stand. That's just one of my scents that will ruin it for me and of course, it stayed on me all day! Just not a fan of this one as much as I have been with the rest.

If the Happy fragrances, this is my favorite one of them. It is less emphatic on heady fruit notes and more emphatic on the florals. The result prevents the strange, fruity-floral “air freshener” effect that so many of these types of perfumes seem to devolve into when I wear them. Having said that, don’t douse yourself in this. It IS floral, and some of the cassis notes “bombed” me in the middle, and they linger. A spritz or two and you’ll be on your way.

I love Happy, but this one is ok. it is a very sweet smell. Almost like candy.. it is a little overpowering at first.

Hi, I've used clinique happy heart, hmmm feel that the scent is rather common, quite strong, have a heavy citrious smell, not very appealing, does anyone agree with me?

I first tried this fragrance when I received as a sample. I thaught it was strong at first but nice when it died done so I brought it. OMG!! I GET SO MANY COMPLIMENTS FROM MEN EVERYWHERE I GO WEARING THIS FRAGRANCE. I dont know what it is about this fragrance that men love it is a citris type scent, casual not a romantic scent that you would wear trying to impress a man. I am perfume addict I own over 40 different fragrances this is the only fragrance that I get compliments EVERYWHERE I GO BY MEN.

Happy Heart smelled great in the bottle and on the card. I mistakenly did not test it on me as I was purchasing several perfumes and did not want to smell like toxic waste for the rest of the day. I have since realized that the citrusy scent is incompatible with my body. I just do not find it pleasant at all and feel like I am walking around smelling like 409 or other glass cleaners. I purchased this in a set with Happy and Happy to Be and so far do not like any of the three. Luckily they were only 0.33 size bottles and cost $35, so I am not losing much, but it is disappointing nonetheless. I will be giving it away to those who smell nice with citrus on!

After a long thought process over this perfume, I finally made a decision to add it to my wardrobe. I use alot of Clinique hair and facial products, and always enjoy the scent that lingers. No where else will you find that sort of lab quality cleanliness, freshness added to make you feel really special. I wasn't a big fan of the original Happy, but this one is a bit warmer. It's high notes are of ginger, then melts down to unusual but delightful fresh floral bouqet. I'm sure everyone has walked past this fragrance a million times while shopping, so it's nothing new, but to really recoginze it is exciting!!

This perfume just smells good. It is nothing amazing, but never offends (unless you bathe in it) and is suitable for all weather and occasions. This is my choice for events where I just want to smell clean, and not offensive, like the theater or dinner parties.

I've smelled Happy Heart sprayed on a card as well as the original Happy. Happy had a dry down with a medicinal herbal salty smell... Happy Heart had a dry down which is still herbal and medicinal... but there's an obvious sharp green note in that herbal smell... as if you're smelling some sort of pine kind of tree.. unfortunately, it's not the nice kind of green smell... (occasionally, I do like the smell of pine trees.)... Just like Happy, the top note is very pleasant, though... I just strongly dislike the drydowned odour of Happy Heart or Happy...

Every time I walked through Lord and Taylor I had to stop and spray this on myself for the longest time--eventually I bought it and wore it throughout last summer. I stopped wearing it for a few weeks and when I went to go spray it on myself next, the smell just really got to me and I couldn't wear it without getting a horrible headache. I don't understand what happened, I loved it so much! It must have just gotten old to me.

I bought this and Happy together...personally, I prefer Happy over this one. Happy Heart is pretty but not very unique...it smells like every pretty young woman in the world. It's a sweeter, more flowery version of Happy. I could wear it once in a while, but too unoriginal to be a signature scent.

Boring......... This fragrance is a mix of original Happy with a lot of flowers and even more citrus. Not worth the money, good thing I only tried a mini.

I love Heart and the new Happy To Be. I think Clinique is coming out with the body products for To Be in April '05. I think both of these are great day perfumes. They last all day and are priced great.

i always get tons of compliments on this one. i find i like this one much better than the original happy. i also like the happy to be, better than the original. the happy heart is fruiter than happy... and the new happy to be is a bit more floral.

I tried Happy and really liked the smell, but it just didn't last on me. Reminds me of Happy but has a pretty, fresh floral heart. Bright, a bit richer than Happy.

Particularly suited for younger women, this is a fresh, clean and playful scent that can smell very sensual and sexy. My girlfriend wears this sometimes and it smells great on her, definitely gets me sniffing at her neck! Good for daytime wear, but for evening use there are more sophisticated fragrances out there.

This fragrance is pretty - but extremely strong and gives me a raging headache. It also gets quite bitter as it dries down, and a powerful magnolia note takes over the entire blend. I like it on others, but it's just too sharp for me.

The best thing about H.H. is that it is fresh, has a great dry down and lasts! There are not too many floral fresh scents out there that stick with you. This is an excellent scent!

I got this for my birthday and I was in love! it smells so nice, a bit like happy but fruitier. I wore it everyday until the bottle ran out!

I really have done a 180 degree turn on this...back when it first came out, and I still liked the original Happy on me, I did not like this. Now, I have swapped away Happy- it smelled too ozonic or weird on me and the citrus wasn't long lasting. I put some of this on in Vegas in the dead heat of August, it must have been 110 degrees F if not more. And, this was so fresh, so pretty and clean...I just loved it. I've been wanting it ever since, and I finally got some today! Really pretty, it has cucumber, aldehydes, carrot flower, mandarin, cassis, amongst other things.

I like Heart, but it smells very young to me. Like something my 13 year old cousin would wear.

This is a very lovelee fragrance...so light-so fresh....perfect to use after a long day on the beach,to cool down the heat from laying in the sun! Does have a little wif of cucumber i think! very pretty...i use it in the summer...wouldn't ewar it in winter! Got loads of compliments! Have anybody tried the body cream? it's nice to...and the smell of that last a long,if you don't prefer wearing perfume in the daytime! Try it and you'll love it!

Of all the perfumes I've worn. I get the most compliments when I wear this one. I love it. It is sweet and fruity with a hint of musk. Hard to pin down really.

This scent is warm and lovely. A couple of my friends wore this nose catching perfume, and decided to buy a bottle for myself. I still love it, and so do my friends! Just don't put more than three sprays!! You'll get a headache.

Clinique needs to step out of the orchard when making a fragrance. I am not impressed by this or the original Happy...too fruity...nothing complex in the dry down either..Clinique makes some of the best concealers girls ..but I can't vouch for their scents.

I liked this at first until I realized it smelled like AQUA-NET hairspray. After that, I can't deal with it. I still love the original on my wife.

This stuff smells like so many other perfumes -- it's so common and predictable. It smells like you could buy it at Shopko. I wouldn't waste my money on this stuff, the regular Happy is a lot better.

This just smells like another citrus scent. Simple for everyday wear during summer and spring. I mostly smell oranges and light flowers. Smells young and innocent.

Same thing happened to me today. Several people asked what I was wearing. I'ts a nice fragrance and I feel good in it.

Happy Heart is just so perfect for my daughters. I love smelling them when ever they spritz this on. Two of them lean towards fruity fragrances or light floral/citrus scents, and this is just what they like. It is a young, sweet, fresh scent that stays fresh. I wouldn't think so many women my age (fortyish) would choose to wear this, but I could have that wrong... It's very nice on those who are younger. Would make a good gift for the twenty-something crowd.

Hi! I use Clinique's perfumes already 4-5 years. I loved the first one so much that ordered Heart without having tried it. Happy Heart is very nice.. yet it may seem kinda strong from the very beginning. But then it becomes very feminine and sexy. Men love it ;) Actually, the same i can say for Clinique Happy. Now i am waiting for theiri new fragrance, Clinique Simply.. have already ordered it and waiting for delivery. I promise, will leave a note here once i get it :))

I was not a big fan of the original Happy. When I smelled this one on my sister I couldn't help but love it. I went out and bought a bottle the next day. Turns out it is also a big hit with the guys.

White thought at first "ohh this perfume can smell good on me", but after buying it she thought " it couldnt smell better on another girl... noone has the right to have it" and she enter to work and she bought all the happy heart perfumes available in every monterrey storE!

Initially, when I first smelled it, I thought it was quite ordinary and smelled soapy. Then, I smelled it again and thought 'hey, it's really quite pleasant!' Today, when I was shopping, I caught a whiff of it at the Clinique counter and I liked it. I asked the Clinique girl to spray a little on me and guess what, it smelled really nice on my skin - fresh, familiar and warm, all at the same time. Even my hubby likes it! He says that this smells nicer than the original Happy :)

I really like this new fragrance by Clinque. It seems like a lighter version of Happy, and it doesn't overwhelm me (sensitive nose). I only wish they would come out with the matching bath products soon!

This one stinks to me. Too much flowers! Wayy to flowery. the original is a lot better. Trust me.
