If I could give it a zero I would.. the worst smell I've ever smelt to this day! I sprayed it on me before I tested it & I couldn't stomach it! I tried to leave it on for a bit but ended up having to wash it off & it took a lot to get it off. A week later I could still smell it on my jacket I was wearing!! So if you like it then it lasts forever!! Smells like an old lady for sure!

The most perfumy perfume i have ever smelt. The opening is awfull, the most powedery grandma opening but it gets less rancid as it settles on the skin with that very artificial sweetness. I feel like I wasted the occasion to pick a better perfume... Don't have regrets like me and if you want a classic perfume go for Mon Guerlain.

This is easily one of my favorite scents that I’ve been able to try. Ran out after a short amount of time from how often I’d reach for it. The vanilla note lingers for a long time and overall the scent is one that will last the entire day. Always getting complemented on this one and will be purchasing the full size!

It smelled like something my grandmother would have enjoyed. I had two of my other coworkers smell it and they agreed it smelled like an older woman's perfume. I ended up giving it to a coworker to offer to her grandmother as she felt the exact same as I did.

I have about ~40 fragrances in my own personal collection and I frequent perfume stores for testers, minis, etc…all that to say I have tried a lot of scents. THIS is my favorite fragrance of all time. Nothing has surpassed it. A few have come close but never touches quite how I felt the first time I smelled this. I instantly fell in love. It is popular for a reason. A few people says its overhyped and they dont like it which is understandable, it is a rather unique scent but if you like amber, iris, vanilla… I highly recommend trying this perfume. It is also SUPER long lasting. I spilled a little in my purse about 6 months ago and I can STILL smell it to this day. I recommend just trying this fragrance out, if you dont like it that’s fair but if you do like it I promise you will want to keep repurchasing forever.

This is a lovely warm and sweet scent on me. It is very strong and lasts quite a long time. I have to spray very little to make sure it is not too much, but that is fine with me as it makes a bottle last longer too. If i don’t mediate how much I spray, it can be overpowering and a little too mature and powdery. But a smaller amount is just right.

A lot of people say it smells more mature, but I love this perfume (I'm 21 years old). It is very light and inoffensive. I used to think it would fade, but recently noticed it will linger and transfer if your goal is to leave a lasting scent. Smells like a lady who has her life together, so I enjoy wearing it to classes to give me a boost of confidence. Much more of a daytime/spring/fun scent.

I normally don't care for this type of scent and prefer spicy and woody Oriental fragrances but this one is unique. It's light and flirtatious with a touch of class. La Vie Est Belle begins with a very soft, sweet scent. Very airy and light. Smells like what the color “soft pink” would smell like. However, it becomes a bit overpowering after a few seconds- not sure if it’s the patchouli. The strong scent does die down after a few minutes, and you are left with a creamy, powdery scent. Definitely more floral than fruity. Though I felt very “high class” while wearing this scent, it’s not my favorite- and I won’t be wearing it again. My mom likes it, though... So it’s all hers! A perfect summer/ spring day scent. Lasts about 1-2 hours.

Two sprays (maybe even just one if you preffer to not stand out with your sent much) can be enough and it’ll last for a couple of hours. The scent is sweet and classy. My husband bought this perfume for me as a present several years ago, and kept buying it for me every time the bottle got low, so I kept wearing it. It isn't my all time favorite perfume, but it is a lovely one, I wore it daily for three years, and always received compliments.

The initial spray gave me intense pencil shavings vibes and then I caught the sweet, orange blossom scent. It is definitely a one spray and done for the day kind of perfume. Really strong and almost cloying at first. If you can last through the initial layer, it changes to a sweet floral vanilla that lasts forever.

This is my signature scent! I have ever worn it without receiving a compliment and being asked what I’m wearing. I’m in my mid-40’s and definitely refuse to wear anything that smells “old lady” by any means. This is just amazing. It’s truly a year round scent although best on cooler days. I’ve noticed that the scent I pick up depends greatly on the weather. On warmer days it’s definitely more of the earthy, woody notes that I detect. On cooler days I smell cranberries and caramel. I can’t say enough good things about this scent. I’m excited to try the other scents in this line!

I just received this in the mail and I don't hate it, I just don't know if it's for me. My brain processes the notes in the order of sweet, an older/mature lady flowery scent, then patchouli. The older flowery scent somewhat kills it for me and gives me a headache and I do not get a freshness of pear. I have heard that this perfume is very popular and almost everyone into perfume has it, so for that reason along with the fact that it smells like an older woman (I'm 37), and it's not 100% me, I may return it.

This one was too mature for my liking (and I’m 37). Even my husband politely commented that it smelled old-lady like. It smells great, just not for me.

Based on the reviews I expected this to be a stronger perfume. I was disappointed. Maybe it wears different on people. It was a little sweet and a little floral. It wasn't as sweet as I had hoped. It didn't have the punch I hoped for. It kind of lasted a little while, but not in a memorable way. It was nice & very forgettable. I gave it away.

This one is ok but I'm not as in love with it as I had hoped to be. It's a little intense and "heady" in a way that makes to hard to wear day to day. If I want to smell like a rich woman, I'd wear it, but it's not as light, classic or approachable as I wanted.

I love this scent a lot! This is the first fragrance for me that does last a long time. After an 8 hour day I was surprised to still smell in on my skin. I could also smell it on my jacket still after several days. It does hold up to the old saying a little goes a long way in that it can be a bit overpowering when first sprayed if it's too many sprays but it dries to a lovely soft powdery sweet smell on your skin. This will definitely stay in my collection as one of my top faves.

One spray and it is super strong. I usually spray it on my stomach and the smell rises up. I tried it on my neck and it was too strong it gave me a headache. Since spraying my skin and lower on my body, it makes the 1st hour more tolerable. The true magic happens after the first hour. A sweet floral powder on the dry-down and I can still smell it on my jacket after 2 days. It's an amazing perfume but really strong. Just make sure to spray strategically.

Very lovely perfume. I first smelled this in a magazine sample and wanted to try more. The fruit, flower, and gourmand notes blend together so well. The fruit notes are more apparent initially, but the praline and vanilla shine more in the dry-down. The scent lasts all day. I would definitely buy a larger bottle of this.

This is a fragrance that I would have never picked to try based on the listed notes or presentation but I ended up trying anyway in person and absolutely love. It's sweet, a bit oriental and overall very feminine. I ended up getting a larger size of it and am happy I found it. It's very different from the type of fragrance I tend to gravitate toward, so yeah - different can be good.

I love LA Vie Est Belle by Lacome the fragrance is fruity, sexy and lingers all day but lightly.

I chose this fully expecting not to really like it. I'm not into feminine, sweet scents but once I got it and sprayed it on my skin. My ex complimented me and says it turns him on. My mother said she liked the smell. I was surprised when I actually liked the scent although it is quite strong and can give me a headache if I spray it in a small room so be aware of that.

Let's just call it one of my "guilty pleasure" fragrances. Lol! I'd like to think I'm anything but boring or a conformist, but I can't help just loving this perfume. The strong patchouli+sweet stuff kinda smacks you in the face upon initial application. It quickly settles down just enough, and lasts a long time. Men seem to compliment it the most. Just don't use TOO much!

It’s got a very heavy sweet floral vanilla scent and maybe it’s just on me but there’s an awful, sharp menthol smell underneath the sweetness. It reminds me of the old Vick’s vapor nasal inhalers my grandmother made me use back in the day. I wish i knew what the fragrance note is because i don’t want to choose it ever again. After the dry down the menthol isn’t quite as pronounced but i still can’t stand the smell. I was really excited to try this one but it’s got to go back.

It doesn’t change much throughout its wear like most powerhouse scents, but its single chord plays magnificently from start to finish.

Personally, I would highly recommend this to anyone. I find it versatile, depending on how heavily you pile it on you can wear it anywhere really.

I absolutely love the smell of this perfume. It always last for a very long time which is nice because a lot of designer fragrances wear off pretty quickly.

I didn't think I liked it at first spritz, after some time passed,I could smell it as going about my day....i thought...hmm....i kinda like this...its warm,good for fall or winter.

Best perfume I have evvvvvver had! Smells sooooo good! It is a rather strong scent. If I spray more then once I will get a headache- always. The good thing is that 1 spray is more then enough- that is how strong it is. I spray it in the A.M. and at night I still smell like it. It lasts foreverrrrr.

This fragrance is wonderful. It is sexy and clean at the same time. Very long lasting. If I put it on in the morning I can still smell it by dinner and there are still hints of it left in the morning. Beautiful scent and makes you feel very sexy. You can wear it all day or wear it seductively at night. It is very versatile.
