A fantastic scent, for me at the initial spray it smells like a nice soap but it dissipates quickly once applied and combined with my body scent to have a fresh, citrusy smell that lasts all day. Definitely going to be adding this to my collection!

I used to where Chrome all the time in my 20s and just recently got this one. I still like the smell but it seems be a little different somehow which I'm thinking its my own body chemistry that has changed not the faulty of the cologne. I like it but not my favorite anymore. Wife is "ok" with it but definitely likes other scents more.

Wore this in high school. I found prada luna rossa smells just like this fragrance but luna rossa's original is just higher quality. This is a great fragrance and a huge upgrade from no cologne or axe body spray. Better choices but this will do just fine and does not stink.

It's a great sporty & casual scent for teens all the way thru early-mid 20s guys but once you've landed a great job after receiving that degree; switch to something more manly and professional.

Lets just cut to the chase on this one. Chrome smells like typical low budget 1980's mens cologne. This scent is similar to 273 Fred Hayman. Perhaps many enjoy that type of scent. Count on Chrome to be long lasting. Usually an unpleasent scent will linger longer than a pleasent one. But maybe I just purchased one that was years old?

It's just ok....a middle-of-the-road fragrance...nothing to write home about.

This perfume is great for people that are neat, clean and do not sweat alot. This scent makes your face smooth and clear to people who smells you. It has a refreshing kinda like mouthwash mint effect with fresh citrus, florals and ocen breeze that is well balanced altogether. I've been asked alot of times what perfume I'm wearing and they just cant tell its Chrome. It blends well with my skin chemistry. This perfume is not intended for sweaty people as they will smell like sour vinegar.

I guess the scent isn't for everyone, but I must say I used to wear this and it never failed I was "ALWAYS" asked by women "What cologne had on" and that it smelled really good. So if you like the ladies I recomend you get this one. I granutee you'll get the right attention.

I did not like this one at all. Not only is the scent so bland, but it also doesn't make me feel good either. Smells like what chrome should smell like, which is not a good thing. There is a light appeal in the initial spray so make sure you wait for it to settle before you decide that you want it. I won't argue that other people like it though, but I pick things first and foremost that I like, and then based on if the ladies like it.

I bought a bottle after a bad breakup and wore it for a month then set it aside. Now it just reminds me of sadder days. It's a shame because it is a pert near near fetchin scent! Sometimes the chemistry just isn't right. But I've moved on....to Creed...and a fantastic new woman!

Are my eyes deceiving me?! This smells nothing like Cool Water funk to me. Cool Water is classic but bery overated since nothing like that was being done @ the time. 70's men fragrances were very heady -Old Spice reminiscent. So that's why CW gets blown outta the water. But Chrome has a deeper/warmer content to it in my opinion.

This one was a classic case of Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde. After the top citrus and floral notes faded from this eau de toilette, I was left with with a really stale odor that lingered for hours. Be sure you try this one before you buy it.

Ever heard of Heinz White or apple Cider Vinegars? Buy some and pour it all over you. They smell much better than this nonsense. Smelling like a caeser salad is much more pleasant than this gamey ol stuff. it smell like my musty old haybarn here in Oklahoma.

...............and not gold. This rather youthful scent is sporty with some woods & is fruity-fresh but seems like it's been done before (Curve/Cool Water)and not all that original I guess.

Sensual and fairly youthful casual/sporty scent is a great alternative to the overly worn Curve and Cool Water. Even though this one has more ratings than those two, I don't seem to smell it around nowhere near as much.

If you like Chrome type of fragrance that is subtle, fresh and yet well-liked by women, I'm sure you would love Swiss Army, a little less sour but nicer 'chocolatey' drydown.

People say too many people are wearing this. Well, I say too many fragrances smell like this. And if everyone's singing the cover version of the same song, it has to be good right? FALLACIES. But I have to admit it is 'nice' in the drydown and I can see where the ladies are coming from because of that. There ARE better unique fragrances out there and don't find excuses investing on what should be long passe and buried as a Mickey Mouse watch is unless it's a classic.

This is a smell that you can not go wrong with. It is the only fragrance that I consistently get compliments when I wear it. It is great for all occasions too.

This sporty fruity-woody casual wear cologne isn't nearly as commonly worn like Curve and AdG but is strictly for the 20ish and teens bracket.

well to start off this colonge will give something elsethan a smell if you know what i mean but back to the subject it smells good and unique when i smelled it.

Very clean, fresh, and masculine fragrance. Not too strong or over the top, Just right for a man's man.

A bit too youthful and it's starting to become too commonly worn but overall not a bad casual scent.

1st impression at the store on the test strip was an almost identical smell to CK 1... I sprayed 2 test strips with chrome and the other with CK 1... compared the 2 with only small differences. The only reason I ended up buying chrome was because I didn’t want to buy the same cologne I wore in the 8th grade. Its cool but after wearing chrome for an hour it really smells like CK 1. My .02

As I take a whiff of the nearly depleted bottle of Chrome by Azzaro, it definitely has an aquatic scent with perhaps a minimal, underlying citrus scent. Formal or informal? Definitely informal. It's perfect for use on a nice spring or summer day. Since Chrome is not particularly a strong fragrance, application to pressure points coupled with a sunny day will tend to aromatize the light Chrome fragrance on your skin. I tend to use Chrome when I don't want to overpower an audience which is why it has been used more often than most other fragrances in my relatively extensive collection. Ultimately, you cannot go wrong with Chrome. It should be in every man's collection. My sister also appreciates this fragrance on her boyfriend, so there's a woman's opinion to go along with the other women's opinion in this particular forum. I give this an excellent rating based on the fact that it should be in all men's collections. As a mild comparative reference, I would give Curve and Burberry Touch 4 stars each since they are the only fragrances that come close to Chrome's scent. Not very close, but the closest I can think of.

Very good review! I find it more casual than formal, but what the hey. He's right, folks. You will get tons of complements with Chrome. Now, this may infuriate some of you who shelled out big bucks on Creed's SMW, or other world class scents but c'est la vie. Chrome is a fresh and clean scent, more acquatic than citrus to my nose. I don't find it boring though others might because it's inoffensive rather than spectacular. Bottom line? It's good. In fact it might be too good for its own good; it's rapidly becoming so popular that I suggest you buy it now before it becomes another Acqua di Gio and your date tells you that you smell like her last 3 boyfriends. Other acquatic ones you might enjoy: Del Mar, Caroline Herrera's 212 H20, Iceberg Twice, Laguna by Dali and-- well, okay-- SMW and Himalaya. Cheers.

Chrome is a nice, woody fragrance with notes that are somewhat aquatic. I love the fragrance's dry down, as it evolves into a milder, more natural smell. The scent is never too powerful, and smells nice at formal events. I got many compliments with Chrome. Try it!

i have a bottle of this. leaves it leaves much to be desired its so common and bland it smells liek a dad or grandfather. does seem to attract the ladis but i guess thats cos u seem to smell much like someones dad... stay away unless ur over 25....lol

I do not understand why people are putting this in the category of CKOne, or any unisex fragrance. The one thing I can tell you is that the ladies love it, they will even reccommend it if you ask them what fragrance they like. With all this being said this is one of my favorites because I can wear it to work, the club, or just being casual. It is very versatile like D&G pour homme (not saying they smell alike)

This is identical as CK One, and I would rather use CK One as it actually costs less.. There are nicer citrus male fragrances than Chrome, but most ppl seem to go for chrome as it is very common. If you like Chrome, try Armani White He and L'eau Par Pour Homme Kenzo.

I've worn this one for several years and it is still my favorite. Its fresh, clean and crisp. Kind of "oceanic" with a slight hint of musk in the dry down. Many times complete strangers have said "You smell great! What are you wearing ? "

Chrome smells wonderful, but I am worried this will become a Hugo or Preferred Stock. So many people wear it, that it ends up on every retail outlet stock list in America. For those who have not smelled it. It smells good, but very much like some others. Hugo, CK, and Sun for example. It has a very citrus smell. But, a hint of wood. It's like Cool Water with less wood, and more spice. You can wear it anywhere. But, as I said, so many are getting this stuff now. You will not be the only dude at the party sporting it. A must have for any cologne collection. When your friends ask to borrow some smell good. Point them in the direction of the Chrome. They will be happy, and you will not clash. Chrome is good to spray caps and closets with. Keeps the house smelling good too.

This does smell a lot like other fragrances out there like ck1, but it does have a "younger" scent to it. If you look past 40, good luck pulling this scent off, but for the youth, this scent is pretty good... I can't smell the musky scent claimed, but "fresh" pretty much describes it.

When I first smelt chrome on ma mans it was off the hook good. I think if a guy wants a girl they better buy Chrome or else they ain't gettin nuthin.

A quality men's fragrance. Not a very original scent, but a good one. I've received compliments wearing it.

This is the real deal, I have like 15 perfume bottles and I can trash them all cause this is what I am only wearing from now on...

I originally tried this fragrance a few years ago and hated it. It seemed it was made from rotting flowers and honey mixed together. However recently i just tried it again and it seems they changed the formula or maybe i got a bad batch before, but it's better now. I still don't like it very much. It is still VERY floral, but after it dries it does get a slightly warmer feel to it. I feel this is a very feminine cologne, which i usually don't say. Don't get me wrong i'm not a hater, but i'm giving an unbiased review of this cologne. Overall i don't have a problem with it and i wouldn't discouraging you from buying it, just be sure to try it first (of course). And it is long lasting in my experience. Btw do RJ and WB ever give something not 5 stars?

Dont get me wrong, this is a wonderful fragrance but it just seems to smell so cliche to me. I have it and I wear it ON OCCASION. It can certainly be overwhelming if abused and will linger for days on the clothes it was applied in. Good but not a classic in my book.

This is by far the best thing I've ever worn. After I started to use Chrome not else seemed to work as good. Trust me the ladies LOVE Chrome.

When you smell it from the bottle, it is really lemony and pretty good. Unforyunately, when you spray it, for about 30 min. it smells horribly of a deep, sweet, metallic scent, but eventually the after note smells so good, it's more than worth it. And the metallic scent isn't even that bad, just get used to it. To be honest, it depends on one's body chemistry and one's senses, but I love the after scent. On me, it smells kind of fruity, but maculine (I know it sounds weird). It's a good fragrance, buy a small bottle, first. DO NOT SPRAY TOO MUCH!

Per his request, I am looking for a new fragrance for my husband to replace Eternity for Men (yuck). I really love that Chrome is softly citrusy and aquatic, yet warm, sexy and mellow at the same time (and it doesn't hit you over the head with sharp top notes, always a plus). Unfortunately, I liked Chrome so much that I gave it to my brother as a gift, and now it is his favorite, so we can't go there (stupid, stupid me). I would appreciate any suggestions for alternative fragrances with the good qualities that Chrome has. Incidentally, Chrome seems to very effective for my brother: he appears to have the dating life that every married man dreamed of having while they were single, but few actually had. Perhaps it has something to do with the cologne? :)

Tooooo strong. Azzaro always makes very powerful colognes and this is no different. If it wasn't so overwhelming the scent would be fabulous. Case of less is more

It's rather citrusy to begin with; the tea notes really come out during the dry down. Overall a nice scent that really can't be offensive to anyone.

Yes this cologne does smell like CK1, but it is much better. It lasts all day, and I have received far more compliments with Chrome than when I used to wear CK1. If it smelled like CK1 to people, why are they asking me what I am wearing all the time. CK1 is better known, yet people do not assume I am wearing CK1.

I can see it is popular with the folks here though. To each his own I suppose. There is something... too synthetic and something green & spicey in the top note. I like it in my car though.

this is the type of fragrance that won't let you down. There are those that you wish you didn't wear, but this one will make you look good. A true winner in my opinion.

No one's complimented me on wearing it, but people are much friendlier to me, especially women. Women also seem to want to stand close to me. It lasts all day after you put it on and a little goes a long way. I bought it six months ago and I've used less than half a bottle. (3.4oz)

OK, Granted it does smell alot like CK One. Except CK one is more flowery, hence its unisex (for those guys who lean on both sides of the fence) Chrome is good stuff, and ladies like it

I like Chrome and I will agree that it does smell like CK but I think it is a little better. It doesn't last that long but I have had good responses from it.

Well my boyfriend doesn't wear this but I am going to buy it for him so that he can wear it. I smell this everday on a male coworker and I had to ask him what it was because he smells wonderful!

I thought this is just mediocre when I smelled it in the store. Nothing special, but nice. About a week later I bought and I love it. It's got an invigorating and freshness to it ... but it's classy and masculine at the same time. This is a fragrance that works for any occasion ... pleasant to be around, non-offensive ... highly recommended.

This is clearly the best men's cologne on the market today. No matter how much (or little) you use, it smells the same, and it's *never* overwhelming. Just a fantastic cologne.

Hello, new to this site. I was introduced to this perfect cologne a year ago and have bought 3 small bottles of this so far. I've gone down from like 8 colognes to 3 and I wear this when I want to feel good. It lasts a long time and you can spray the hell out of it and overuse it and still will smell good. But it and that is all I have to say.

This scent is very refreshing. It has a clean and fresh smell to it. Great for any occasions.

Someone bought me this cologne for my birthday it was in a set with a free watch. The cologne was nasty, and the watch didn't work!

This stuff is horrible! It smells like weeds! There is nothing fresh smelling about it! Everytime I smell it on someone I tell them to change there fragrance! This is bad even for drug stores!!

Chrome is almost, but not quite, identical to CK1. I still prefer CK1 but Chrome is nice as well.

A great choice for spring & summer. The scent doesn't disappear quickly either. Nice product line too.

At least it has a cuter bottle than CK One. I could say that when you spray it´s a kind of different, but when it´s dried down it´s the same. I like both.

As someone said, this cologne is very similar to CK One. It is pretty good, but I still like CK One better. And although it is a very clean and fresh scent, I think it is too common to wear these days. But people who loves CK One and would like something similar should check it out.

I liked this fragrance better the first time I wore it, when it was called cKOne. Seriously. It smells like Loris Azzaro was trying to come up with an exact copy of Calvin Klein's 1994 fragrance and couldn't quite pull it off. When I first smelled cKOne, "back inna' day," I remember being blown away at how delicious it was. It was so fresh and citrusy, unlike anything I'd ever come across. And even though every third human being you'd run into between the ages of 12 and 35 was bathed in it, the fragrance never ever wore thin on me. I loved it. Chrome, needless to say, doesn't inspire the same response. An entirely synthetic, cheaper smelling version that lasts about one tenth as long. I can't believe this stuff is so popular. I really can't.

I really think this scent makes you smell terrific to women. The response to it is undeniable.

I've been looking for that perfect daywear colonge to go with my perfect all around cologne Fahrenheit and to go with my perfect night colonge Bvglari. I have had Acqua Di Gio, Kenzo, Lanvin. Alot of others and this is the most refreshing of them all. Very strong too. To me it smells like liquid soap and clean air. Which is a good thing. Strong too. Unlike alot of "clean" scents that fade away this stays. I would recomend this for daytime use or at the office. It rules.

When I first smelled this EDT I was wearing silver jewelry. If silver had a scent it would be this. CLEAN, FRESH, CRISP. Great over lotions with cucumber essential oils added.

like CKbe but very light and hard to smell. it also fells cheap. It will change the smell in just 1 hour leaving u smelling even cheaper. honest.

Words can't even describe how beautiful this is. All I can say is that it's fruity-soapy clean.

I'm not sure about this. After a few hours it *does* smell like Ck One..at least on the test strip. Am I wrong here? Did smell amazing at first tho..then became more fruity.

this blows away any other type of "clean/refreshing" scent out there. Smells like a mix of purified mountian water, strong florals , soap and ocean breeze. This should be renamed to "Dream" insted of Chrome cause this is that damn awesome. Get this and you'll feel great in the day.

You guys out there that has not tried this get this stuff. I like clean scent colognes like Gio and Higher but after I smelled this at Sax 5th Ave It convinced me to get it. It is pretty strong, stronger then Gio and it makes me feel terrific.

While I like darker scents this is one that is "clean" scent I did like. It is a very soapy scent with a little citrus.Suprisingly unlike dull light scents like Viking and 360, this is pretty strong.

Bought this then gave it away. Nice fragrance on someone else but just not right for me.

I own a few men's fragances and this is my prize possession. The Chrome smell clean and isn't potent, but has long lasting smell. I own a bottle of Tommy Hill, Polo Sport, Cool Water, and CK One, but Chrome is the winner!

I have to admit...Draakar and Eternity for Men are my two favorite for Men's Colonge...but...I was really surprised about Chrome...I like it...Nice "Manly" smell...

All I can tell you, is that my husband went for emergency surgery on his knee after tearing a tendon playing basketball; and six nurses came back to the waiting room after he'd been preped for surgery just to ask me what cologne he was wearing! I thought something was wrong with him! So YES!
