I love this scent - it makes me smile. It’s so joyful and light. I suffer with migraines and finding a delicate scent balance is hard but this is perfect. Light citrus notes with touches of mild florals make this scent ideal. I also purchased the full sized bottle. The fragrance isn’t overpowering and wished it stayed around longer.

I hate scents that are mature (old lady), powdery, or musky, and Happy is NONE of those. I absolutely love this fragrance. It's so clean, fresh, and uplifting!! First you notice citrus fruits like grapefruit and orange. Once that settles, you get with a nice floral base of honeysuckle and lily of the valley (NO roses!!). I just love it!

Not my favorite but i also didn't hate it. If I wanted to feel fancy, that's the perfume I would use. It also reminds me of silver shavings, but I like it more than the fancier ones I've tried. An every-day perfume during the holiday season for sure.

I can only give this 4 stars because I never got to use it. My sample got dropped and ended up breaking. I did enjoy the way it smelled while cleaning it up from my floor though! Flowery but not overpowering, I might put it down again for a different month or try it again if I have a trade in scent.

This smells nothing like I remembered. There's definitely a hint of musk that I don't remember from when I first smelled it 10 years ago. Idk if it has changed or if I changed but it's not for me.

I used to love this years ago, but now it smells matronly. It's not bad, and the longevity is better than most, but it feels a bit "one note" to me. The sharpness never mellows into something subtler; the intensity just fades.

Absolutely love it! Very playful scent. Can wear it anytime of the day. You will enjoy wearing it as well. Doesn't last long, but it's okay can reapply & enjoy it all over again.

I can't believe this fragrance gets such high reviews. To me, it smelled like a big pile of fall leaves - cool if that's your thing, but definitely not mine! It dried down to a more flowery, soft fragrance, but I could barely smell it after a couple of hours. This is one of only two scents I've ever sent back.

I wasn't a fan of this one. It smells too much like an old lady to me. When I first sprayed it it resembled the smell of plastic mixed with flowers. After a while I was happy to realize that this smell doesn'tast long. It does eventually lose its plastic smell, but to me it is way too floral. This seems like a perfume for somebody above the age of 50. And I generally do like mature scents. Not this one though.

I’m so sad this perfume smells old on me?? It smells like my grandmas purse LOL. I’ve come to the conclusion that I hate anything with orange in it. Whether it’s orange or orange blossom or whatever. Every time I see a note with orange I will not even try it anymore. Not sure what other note bothers me but this perfume is probably a good fresh smelling fragrance for an older woman.

I was very surprised by how much I liked this. It smells great, but the combination with my hair pomade is phenomenal and I don't know how to explain how much this smells like the good parts of my summer. It's possibly a little young for me but whatever. I love it and I'm going to keep wearing it.

I adore this perfume! It's bright and citrus-y and then turns soft and floral. The longevity could be better, only lasts a couple hours or so on me. I love this scent it's mature and beautiful but youthful and perfect for the office or everyday use. It's fruity yet floral.

I have worn Happy for half of my adult life. It is clean, fresh, and smells of citrus. It stays on the skin several hours. I've gotten compliments on it frequently. You are never too old to wear Happy. This whole "I am/you are too old" thing is just beyond ridiculous. You are never too old to smell clean and fresh. I am not a big fan of heavy, cloying headache inducing perfumes - no matter how much I age. This is by far the best clean scent out there - but again, it is fruity fresh, not soapy fresh. Happy in Bloom is a great alternative. I highly recommend this fragrance to all ages. Don't worry, be happy.

I LOVE this perfume! It is definitely one of my all time fragrances. It just makes me happy to wear it. I wore it when I was younger and I was so excited to see that it was an option to receive. I like clean, flowery scents. Another one of my all time favorites is Sunflowers. I like Curve too...the blue bottle with silver writing. Hopefully that helps you get a sense of what scents I like, lol. Maybe you'll like Happy if you like any of the others I mentioned.

I've worn Happy since I was seventeen...Definitely the real Happy!! I love the scentbox idea because although I adore my Happy, I'm looking for a change of fragrances every mow amd then. I haven't been able to test any other fragrances until now. Scentbox is perfect! Thank you!!

It’s quite potent, at first, but it mellows after a while. Definitely not a favorite of mine, but it’s not bad, by any means.

I like Happy Heart better than Happy because Happy doesn’t wear that well on me. The citrus notes and florals blend in a way that smells like a chemical air freshener once the initial notes are past. Not everyone wears Happy like that, though. It is an extremely uplifting fragrance that probably pleases many due to its lightness and lack of overzealousness with the floral notes.

If I could give a 0 I would. I've always loved the fragrance of Happy, but what I received was AWFUL. It stunk, with a very weird smell that u can't even wash off. Very unhappy

Happy smells better sprayed in the air than on the skin. I think you must have a certain body chemistry to wear it and sadly most people don't have it. Happy to Be is much better.

Clinique Happy takes me back to my high school days! I guess I would say that this was my “signature” scent in high school. It is a bright, fresh, flirty and fun fragrance. It has bright citrus notes that make this perfect for the daytime. Most people think this is a scent focused at the younger crowd, which it fits well, but I think it works for any woman who is looking for a bright sparkling citrus scent to wear. Even though it reminds me of high school, I do still reach for it and find it just as enjoyable as I did then.

I love Happy. At least, I used to. I still WANT to love it, but my body chemistry has changed, and now it just doesn't smell the same on me. :( This perfume only gets better as it develops through the day. I still give it 5 stars, and my husband just bought me a new bottle last weekend. Unfortunately, the heavy doses of pain medications I am on apparently have changed my chemistry. I wish I could find a new favorite perfume. Can someone recommend something similar to Happy that I might like? I also used to love Liz Claiborne's "Curve" (the plain original scent), but same story-- it too smells different on me now.

This is not the type of perfume that I would wear when I go out but something that I use when I go to work because it has a citrus smell that made it somehow strong. You have to put on a generous amount for you to smell it and do not last that long.

This is fresh, citrus and flowery, is a great pick-me-up scent.

A very good friend gave me a bottle of Happy when my father died. It is her signature scent, and she said that it always makes her happy when she sprays it on in the morning. She was hoping it would do the same for me. Between the sentiment behind the gift and the fabulous scent of Happy, I must report that it does in fact make me happy. This is by far the best scent ever.

hi all, i commented very breifly before but i would like to elaborate more.I spent alot of money to find my signature scent..I finally found it, this perfume is fabulous, so feminine and clean and lasts long... nice simple bottle , its cost is nice and u can find it anywhere. I brought me a big bottle and my 10 yr old a bottle to, its good for all ages. and i feel great wearing perfect touch when ur all cleaned up and ready to go

Hi. I'm only 13 and this is my first grownup perfume. i got it as an early christmas gift last year and it smells very nice. This is also my grandma's favorite too.

It must just be a chemistry thing with Happy. I get stopped by strangers (especially men) asking me what I am wearing and telling me that it is the best smelling perfume they have ever gotten a whiff of. It lasts 10-14 hours on me, too. I love it!!!

Bought it for my mom on her 60th last year because she wanted it. It's innofensive, I can't as such fault it but it doesn't excite me in any way and fruitsy, happy scents are supposed to be me. Maybe my tastes are "maturing" or my chemistry has changed. I wouldn't buy it for myself. My mom's a streamlined person with lots of interests and very active social life but she's not a particularly "deep" type in any way. Very much like this perfume, imo.

i ADORE this perfume. it is not too heavy and perfect for everyday use and night use. Every time i wear it i get loads of compliments. it wafts everywhere and is just gorgeous.

I've never owned Happy, but I did receive Mary Kay's Velocity as a gift. I've read that some people think Velocity smells like a more floral Happy. I like it because it's easy and fresh-smelling. Burberry Brit is still my favorite, but Velocity seems to last a bit longer and it's cheaper too.

Well, my girlfriend wears this parfume and I think it's absolutely gorgeous, I'd kiss her neck all day long. Lovely parfume.

There is nothing wrong with Happy, but there is nothing that makes it stand out as great either. It reminds me of almost every other perfume that was big in the late 90’s. It’s innocent, fruity, floral, which is great for a teenager, but is not the kind of perfume I’m attracted to anymore.

I like this one, It's good and clean, but I prefer the new Happy in Bloom. I also like Happy for men to go to the gym or to work. They are all light clean scents, I feel good w/ them.

I noticed that poor Happy is not well loved on the fragrance boards, maybe because it is finicky with some people. It worked very well on me, however, and I used to receive compliments on it. It does have the effect of lifting my spirits. My husband isn't crazy about it - says it's ok if you want to smell like a glass of orange juice. This type of simple, breezy, uplifting scent is perfect for me. If you're into richer oriental or spicy/woody, heavier fragrances, then you might not be happy with Happy. You might prefer Coco Mlle or Allure or Addict, something like one of those. And that's great! Each to his own! :-)

At first it was very strong! but when I asked my sister to wear it, it smells clean & nice from her. So I become like it too. Happy for Men is better, I wish Happy for Woman could do better...pity.

Okay, so I liked this perfume when I was seventeen (I don't think my nose was fully evolved then) and I'm completely brand-loyal to all Clinique makeup--but this perfume stinks!!! It smells like double sugar-coated gum drops. Very childish fragrance. NOT nice.

The scent was pleasant enough - I had a bottle a few years ago. It just didn't have any depth or 'soul' to it, to me. Another drawback was that everyone and their sister was wearing it, plus my half full bottle literally went bad in less than a year with proper storage.

I received Happy several times in gift with purchase sets when I buy clinique mascara or other clinque products. But I could never enjoy the perfume. Even when I smell it on other people, it is not pleasant. Seems like lots of ladies love it, but not me. There is something a bit sharp about it to my nose. I dont like sharp perfumes.

Happy is a refreshing scent that has a hint of oranges, not too citrusy though but slightly sweet. I also like the men's version but never thought my husband would wear it as he has his own fav. Happy is not one that I would wear all the time or everyday but it fits the bill when you want a pick me up and a scent that is not too heavy or oriental. Give it a try if you haven't. You won't be disappointed.

The scent doesn't last over an hour, and the honeysuckle note is too strong and not harmonic. Besides, it's still one of my favorite´s perfumes for casual wear.

The first time I smelled this fragrance, I didn't like it at all. I think it was because it was so different from anything I had smelled before. Through buying makeup during bonus time-I got several samples of it, and it grew on me. Now it is one of my favorites!! Very refreshing and uplifting!

this is a nice, "happy" kind of fragrance; not clinique's most interesting line, but good "go to" scents. they're pleasant and fresh and i often find myself reaching for the "happys" when i don't know what to put on or if I'm going out shopping for the day and want a pretty and clean fragrance but nothing heavy or complicated (if you're looking for something more intense or complex in the clinique line try 'wrappings' or 'elixir.')

You can never put an age limit on any citrus or clean based perfume! They go well with everyone, and happy has been good for a ton of women. I have many many perfumes, but still go back to this.

Happy is very energizing and light. I love it because it's a great perfume for any casual occassion. I probably wouldn't wear it out at night. My only complaint is that it's a bit too light, so the smell goes away quicker than most other perfumes.

Happy, is exactly what it says, very energizing. The compliment were off the hook wearing this. Every perfume is not for everybody. Such is life. Wouldn't wear for romantic usage, its too upbeat. Just my opinion!

When I smelled it sprayed on a card, the initial smell was very pleasant... then it dried down to a medicinal, herbal... salty kind of odour.. No wonder, someone earlier here (Romeo) said it smelled like balloons.. the salty rubber smell... this one is not exactly like rubber... but definitely is a salty smell as its dry down... What a pity.. the top note was alluring while it lasted... just make sure it doesn't dry down! ;)

I've been wearing Happy for about a week now. I love it, and I like the way it makes me feel---happy! I don't think it's all that sophisticated, but I like it. When I want to feel more sophisticated, I wear a different scent. It's nice and light for summer.

I have been wearing happy for many years now and I still get stopped and asked "What are you wearing?"........."That is a great scent."........ I let them know that I wear Clinique Happy. I think that most scents are way to over-powering....... are you wearing it or is it wearing you? Most gag you from across the room....yuck! I am one of those people that firmly believe a little goes a long way..... you don't need to take a bath in the stuff to smell good. I usually use one 3.4 oz. bottle a year, I wear the scent everyday even if I am just sitting around the house. It is my signature scent. It is about getting the right scent and right combinations that set it off. Morning - daytime light and refreshing... play up the citrus....it will energize you. A good daytime combo with Happy is Bath & Body Works energizing line. You will be amazed! Happy is not just for daytime either ladys.... I turn it into a nighttime scent by putting it with a very unheard of lotion that you can only get at one store. (Blu) I have gotten so many comments when I go out it is not even funny, not just by the men either. Have fun with it and be HAPPY. Congrats Clinique on a scent well done!

Who could not LOVE this product!!! I mean seriously all these sour pusses that are leaving bad message about this perfume probably have no normal sense of smell and are lonely cranky grumps that have nothing better else to do with all the time they have on their hands. Every person that has ever smelled this scent give so many compliments. It's a clean, sexy and fresh fragrance that is timeless. Oh and to all those who say it smells like rotten oranges....only you would know since it's probably something you suck on on a daily basis and gives you that bitter look on your faces. Dear Yvonne, What's a young scent? Society has pegs fruity florals or sugary florals as young, but how do you feel? I say, if you love Happy, then keep on wearing it until YOU no longer enjoy it. Forget about ideas. Fragrance is about enjoyment, and anyway, you sound like a young lady to me. You are as young as you feel, or as young as you smell. As for substitutes...I think that Azzura has the same fruity/floral, uplifting mood of Happy, and might be somewhat more mature according to society's standards. They don't smell exactly the same, but they're similar, in my opinion. Try that! But I still think you should pick what fragrance makes you happiest.

I have been wearing this almost 5 years. I have tried dozens of other scents, literally, since but haven't found any I like better for daily, casual, or work (with ill people). My question is, at 50, am I getting too old for this? I have also been dissappointed with the lasting ability (not long enough). What's everyone's ideas regarding age appropriateness and substitution suggestions if it is a "young" scent?

I must defend my Happy! In a land of fruit and flowers, this is a very lovely, very unique fragrance that is uplifting, joyous, fresh, and delicious! I usually prefer richer, more vanilla oriental perfumes over citrus scents, but this one is a winner for me. It gives me energy, brightens my mood, and smells wonderful! I realize that everyone's perfume taste is on an individual basis, but I had to defend my Happy!

I have owned this for quite a while. I unmistakably bought this while it was super hot. I personally don't like a super citrusy/cleaner type smell so I did not fall in love with this. It is not repulsive, just not great. Since the time I bought this my nose has evolved.

All Clinique Fragrances smeels likes balloons and I hate balloons smeel. Women should wear something sexy like Michael by Kors, Versace Woman by Versace, Lolita....but not this! Aggghhhh.....balllloooonnnss!!!

I used to work for Clinique so I wore this fragrance ALL the time. Very bright and clean--but not very lasting. Body products are only so-so. But men love this fragrance! Trust me on this! Wear it on a date and keep a small sample (from GWP) in your evening bag to freshen up.

First of all, I am writing because so many people are posting how offensive it is. It is such a light fruity floral scent that I don't see how anyone could say it stinks... maybe somewhat boring, but not offensive! My mom who is a very young 70 something loves Happy. It is her favorite because it is light and she is not a person who cares for things that smell too strong or unusual. I have a more 'evolved' nose than her being that I am a lover of scents (perfume, candles, aromatherapy, etc) and I do think it lacks sophistication and is a somewhat boring scent, but nonetheless, it is not what you would call bad! If you think Happy is bad, you haven't smelled many perfumes out there... there are many which truly are offensive, elderly, and/or strong.

I originally came in contact with Happy by Clinique about six years ago. I smelled it as a co-worker walked by me. I have to advise anybody interested in purhcasing this perfume that you can only appreciate this top-noted citrus scented perfume after you have worn it for about 5 to 10 minutes. If you were to smell this perfume straight from the bottle or on a perfume card it may seem very overpowering and strong; however, after it wears down it is very pleasant. This is one of those scents that you have to let calm down to appreciate it.

This is by far the youngest, sexiest, girliest perfume ever made. If you're under 30 years old, you just can't go wrong with this. It is absolutely delicious. Irresistible.

I use Clinique mascara and sometimes receive a gift package with perfume included. This is how I discovered Happy perfume, but it is not my style. I like more powdery scents and this is more sharp I guess.

This is a fresh, citrusy scent that is refreshing and energizing without being overwhelmingly sweet. However, like someone mentioned happened to her, there is something about it that doesn't agree with my chemistry. It smells great out of the bottle and sprayed on clothes, but not all that great on me. I'd definitely recommend trying this one out on yourself before buying a bottle.

I think the reason thatthe scent fades after an hour or so isnt becuase its a worthless perfume, I think it maybe just that you have become used to the smell is all. I spray Happy on my jacket and the scent seems to last me for days. I myself honestly believe it is one of my most favorite perfumes ever. To any of you out there that care, you should definately try Hot Couture by Givenchy...I have been using that perfume for 3 years now and still love it just as strong! I always get plenty of compliments on it too.

You chicks like Happy cuz the guys love it and they give you positive attention, but since so many chicks wear that, you hate Happy cuz then you are not unique. And more importantly, if it just so happens that some other chick wears Happy and the guy you are with (or want) loves it.... oh no.... COMPETITION!! It's so much better than the other disgusting scents out there. Wear this to instantly cheer up. It lasts long too. For people who have sensitive noses, I suggest spraying a tiny bit on the insides of your elbow.

Unbelieveable scent, I just purchased my second 100 ml bottle, with a bonus 15ml purse size spray, body lotion and shower gel. Awesome stuff, lifts my spirits, it is great day or night fragrance. I think I will always have this as part of my perfume collection. I also get the most compliments from this fragrance over all others I own. I own quite an extensive collection - Chanel No. 5, Givenchy scents, Lancome, but this is probably the one I wear most!

You know it's so funny how so many women have a different interpretation on how this scent smells! This scent smells clean and fresh and crisp, better than any other heavy,disgusting, (kill-the-rats-pronto) perfume that women seems to slather on. Why don't ladies that critique this truly femenine scent just pour their old- grandma-bug-spray supposedly perfume on, or maybe they just got that horrible femenine problem and need to cover it up - just a thought ;-). Go Clinique!!!!

Remember, when purchasing perfume, you are getting it for male attractment, remember that. Men love it! so do I!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I smelled it first in a magazine ad, I thought this fragrance was awesome, but when I sprayed it on my skin, I thought it smelled like rubber. I am absolutely in love with the new version Happy Heart.Anyway,everyone has a different liking for scents so try it yourself!

I think this is a very nice,lush fragrance. Fresh citrus bouquet,but floral with a depth of sexy dry down. It mixes well with most skin I think. Don't ever rub in "any" perfume! That just messes it all up, and you risk it smelling awful. Just let it dry as it is and then you really know if you like it or not. This is tropical,fruity, but flowery happiness. When I first sprayed it, I thought my bottle was old. Later I found out it was just one of the top notes that fades away, and I can live with what's left...clean. Not cleaning fluid!

For some reason this does nothing for me. I got it as a gift and sad to say I don't wear it at all. The Men's smell much better.

Happy is a very good name for a fragrance. But the fragrance itself tells a different story. Happy doesn't have a good structure, it smells of a single all-mixed-together note with a sharpness edging on harshness. Overall effect is cheap and sickening. Makes me unhappy indeed.

this is a light,clean,nice to be around perfume. It doesn't suffocate like some really heavy& (overly used) perfumes do. It reminds me of tropics and fresh flowers... If You can stand it on a hot or cold day,and in an elevator,then it's a good one!

This is a really fresh scent that smells like grapefruit. I bought the big bottle of it when it first came out expecting to use it and then everywhere I went I ran into people who wore this--religiously. I ended up working with a girl who absolutely swam in this stuff--and we worked in a "scent-free" workplace. So I ended up hating the scent because she overdid it so much. So now I have a big unused bottle of the stuff.

This is my June/July/August scent. I love the way it works with my chemistry. May not be for everyone though. I've had my bottle for 4 years now, and it still smells light and fresh. Keeping it in a cool, dark place helps preserve the fragrance as well.

I have to say I agree with Rainfaerie and the poster before her. What is the deal with this stuff????? I have smelled it on others and thought "really boring! Just a plain, light sweet floral. YAWN!" Then I tried it on myself once, and I was VERY unhappy! It smelled like cheap, dimestore, lemon-pledge hell on me! Double triple yuck. But really, Happy's worst crime is being so criminally bland, even on people who's body chemistry doesn't turn it into urine water!

For some reason, the Clinique scents disagree with my chemistry, and unfortunately, 'Happy' is no exception. Even those of you that love 'Happy' would be begging me to go away if you could've smelled.

This is a great summer fragrance, however, it's a very common scent. Also, the staying power could be better.

I have the same problem with this scent, smells nice but disappears too quickly..........SA told me to layer it with body lotion first......Estee Lauder Pleasures lasts much longer, had no problem with staying power..but it is less fruity and more floral if you like that.

I LOVE the scent, but it does not last at all on me. I couple it with the shower gel and body lotion and have yet to get any compliments on it. I think it does smell good on me, but disappears within the first hour. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

I tried a sample of this and tired of the smell very quickly, it reminded me of fruit-scented shampoo. Suitable for the very young, it's not sophisticated or sexy at all and would not hold up to evening occasions. I agree that it smells like a fruit drink. Give it to the teenagers who can probably get away with it.

I wish I had tried this sooner. I had been wearing Pleasures for a long time, then I happened to spray Happy on my wrist and went shopping. I couldn't stop smelling my wrist. Pleasures is nice too, but I like the fruitier notes in Happy. I feel so happy and confident when I wear this. It has a nice citrusy, smokey scent.....if that makes sense.!

I go to High School up in Canada and I must say that you can't walk by a girls locker without seeing a bottle or smelling Clinique Happy and Ralph. I own Ralph and I have Happy lotion and some samples. They are the perfect fragrance for any girl young at heart or just a happy person!

My mom & i went to this store in Canada and there was a special on all clinique products where you get a free make up kit with your purchase. She bought a few and got two make up kits which contained happy in them. Since then,she hardly used them so,unbeknownst to her,I took one for myself. I hope this scent is here to stay,because it makes me so happy.

The citrus smell fades quickly which I find a good thing but the lasting smell is kind of flat and boring. It is ok, but just not great. Maybe on others.

Happy is my favorite summer fragrance! It has clean, fresh, energizing scent that makes me feel "happy" as soon as I put it on. Plus my husband is allergic to most floral scents, but this one doesn't bother him at all. I would call it more fruity and citrusy than floral. It is never overpowering, which makes it especially nice for the warmer months.

I have smelled HAPPY on several women and have loved it. Was I disappointed when it smelled sharp and kind of rancid on me. :-( It is a delightful scent on the right person, but a disappointment to me.

this one is fruity, but the worst is Aromatics Elixer. Its heavy, and always makes me sneeze. It has pathouli and chamomile in it gross!!

After hearing about Happy I decided to try it. It doesn't smell that great to me. It's so-so at best, nothing special.

I've worn Happy for years and have loved it. One of my son's uses Happy for men, and my daughter uses Happy for women. I am looking forward to my first bottle of Happy Heart!

I hadn't rated Happy when I posted before, so I'm back to give it its highest rating. Since I'm here, I'd like to say that this is among my all-time favorites. It's just a simple, beautiful, clean, sweetly feminine and innocent fragrance, as succulent as a fresh, peeled orange. It's youthful and active, but unmistakably feminine--just fruity enough, too. I only wish my husband loved it as much as I do. In fact, had I known he didn't think it was so hot, I wouldn't have chosen it as my wedding perfume. Well, no biggie; it's not that he disliked it, either. I get lots of compliments about Happy from people (both male and female), but my husband prefers other perfumes. I still wear Happy for myself anyway, and he doesn't ever mind.

I have been wearing for almost two weeks now and I love it! I will be buying it again. I also purchased the body talc free powder from Macys and it is so soft and fragrant. I may have found my fragrance, finally. I highly reccomend Happy.

My husband gave me the gift set for Easter. I was a bit dissapointed since I would not have chosen this for myself. Surprisingly, I recieved many compliments at our Easter family dinner.

Yet another plain jane citrus fragrance. Nothing remarkable. Definitely not worth paying the price. Doesn't last long, starts to smell very sharp and chemically on me. Possibly some people can wear it well, but even when I smell it on other people I feel sick. Very much a young teen scent.

I've been using Happy Heart. I'm not big on the original Happy, but this one is actually kind of nice. Not as citrusy/stronger floral notes/not as sweet as the other. I like Happy, although it's not my altime favorite. For those who think Happy is too citrus-smelling, I suggest you try the new Happy Heart, it has less of a citrus smell.

i have to tell you that i really enjoy the smell of clinique happy. it has never not one time gave me a headache. me and about 2 other of my coworkers wear it and we think it is great! its not too heavy, just right. gets a lot of compliments!!!

I have never gotten more compliments with any perfume like I have while wearing Happy. From men and women both! I even feel sexy while wearing Happy. The scent lasts forever! I'm on my third 3.4oz bottle. It's definitely a keeper in my collection!

I've been testing several fragrances lately, and I have to say that I think Clinique Happy is the best by far. On me, it smells like tangerines. Lovely! My boyfriend HATES any perfume (or so he says) and will even comment on how someone stinks if he can smell their perfume. Today I smelled a really nice fragrance on a colleague. When I asked her what it was, she smiled and said, "Happy!" She went on to say that she has received many, many compliments on this fragrance. It really smelled great on her - fresh, attractive and warm, all at the same time! Happy is an unique smell and I'm going to wear it!

What I like about Happy the most is that it doesn't linger. After a while you don't even know you have it on, though others can smell the scent. I don't know any other perfume or cologne that does this. I love it!

I love Happy! It's one of my favourite perfumes. I have so many perfumes but I like Happy best! It never fails to lift up my spirits and it also makes me feel very feminine and alluring. My advice to those who get a headache after use is this: Do not put too much and don't spray it too close to you. If you spray it too close to the skin, the alcohol is strong and it stays and overpowers the intended nice scent. What I usually do is spray about half a metre from myself, then 'walk' into it. Happy is strong enough and it lasts quite well so that sort of spritz is good enough. I like Happy because it is not too sweet and floral, it's really just nice, a nice combination of floral, green and citrus smell. It's both fresh and warm and the woman who wears it smells inviting and warm.

Hi When i went grocery shopping, i notice the lady wore a pretty scent fragrance so i asked her, what she wearing it she said its Happy Clinique . so i say ohh so i went to the Mall to get some of sample to try on me and it giving me headaches and dizzy.. it depened on the chemstry body.. and my one friend said should put in behind ears to rub it and wrist little bit not to much.. so it stay last long but i try do again it still giving me headaches and dizzy. oh man i like smell but i couldnt wear it and it smell nothing on me alike strong sour orange something .. but some of women wear it different chemstry body system. oh well that life..

I have a big bottle of it and have been wearing it off and on for 3 years now. Loved it from the first time I smelled it and everyone says how great I smell when I wear it. It is just a great combination of smells that make up the perfume. I wear it more than any other of my perfumes and when I don't wear it I miss it. It is the perfect combination of sweet but not too sweet and just green enough for me. Perfect. I want the body smoothing lotion for my birthday.

when i went to food shopping and i reconized the smell the lady wear it and i ask the lady what she wearing she said its "Happy" from clinqiue so i say ohh smell so pretty floral so i went to the cliniquie to get a sample and i try on myself it make me headaches and dizzy so someone told me should to put behind the ears really little bit but it still not work on me chemsitry on my body. i dont know why i love smell it but it smell alike sour ,dull dry something depend on the chemsitry body.. so far i love smell but i cant wear it so far.. i only wear little bit but still bother me.. oh boy.. not for me wear it.. it giving me headeaches and dizzy .. dont buy it at all dont waste your money.. thanks take care :o)

Smelled like a highly toxic insect repellant on me. I guess you could say it bugged me.

I'm not particularly wild over Happy but since I use Clinique products I always get samples of it (incidentally, to digress, Clinique makeup samples are the only ones I ever actually use. I think their palette of natural rosy browns are very wearable, and good quality products for a good price). Happy smells fresh and clean (very citrusy) but it's nothing spectacular, yet people love this scent on me. Go figure.

I use the shower gel, cream and cologne. I love all of it. It smells fresh and clean without being too strong. I have people stop me often to tell me I smell good and want to know what I am wearing. I have worn it so long, that I no longer smell it after putting it on and am pleased when someone comments on it.

When I first bought this perfume I loved it, my boyfriend too. But after a month or so, the citrus smell was too much for me and him too. It's so sharp that you get tired of it very easily I think and you have to be on a very special mood to use it.

Happy isn't a bad scent. I buy lots of Clinique makeup and heaven knows I have about fifty free samples floating around my bedroom. But the problem with it is that it's all top notes, and they don't last. The bottom notes are either weak or nonexistent. It isn't a lasting fragrance. Also, it's personality is weak--when I smell it, I can't differentiate it from other sweet fragrances that are out there. In addition, a lot of people wear this one...I avoid it on principle because of that. I don't want to smell like every other woman out there--I want a distinctive fragrance.

Happy makes me feel confident and young.

I started wearing perfume when I was 19. Happy was my very first scent. I bought it at the end of August and wore it when school started. This citrus scent was a nice introduction to the perfume world. Five years have passed by and I've worn 8 different bottles of perfumes, but I will always remember Happy.

Now I know that we all have different tastes but sour and cheap! Come On...!!It must be the chemistry thing! Because I get sooo many compliments on HAPPY that it makes me very HAPPY!

Happy to me is light and effervescent, a cornucopia of citrus fruits (ruby red grapefruit, mandarin) and flowers. There is no heavy base. I think of summer and island-hopping, but I think it could be worn year-round for all occasions, especially if you like fresh scents (but this is sweeter than most "fresh scents"-it's not an eau). Happy was my wedding day perfume (1999) so it's easy for me to be biased about it being perfect for the occasion!

A lot of men love Happy; they're always asking me what I'm wearing if I have this on. But my man's not crazy about it and neither am I, even though it's a very pretty scent. It's very clean and fruity, not overwhelming but simple. I'd rather get Spring Flower for my birthday. I give Happy 4 out of 5 because it's better than most fruity perfumes out there that are way too sweet.

A lot of people I know wore this on their wedding day. I think it's perfect for a bride. It's fresh, sweet, clean and feminine, lots of citrusy fruits for kick and sweet florals for femininity. I'll wear it on my anniversary I think!!!

Smells artificial and sour..don't waste your money on this cheap fragrance

Over the last six months, I've asked two ladies, what perfume they're wearing, I like it so. Both of them answered "Happy!" My wife is going to get it for Christmas!
