I like it but wished it lasted longer
I like the wood note
It's a little flowery even citrus but once it settles it is more like dark tea with still some floral notes.
It’s woodsy notes but smells sporty at the same time. Doesn’t last long. Just eh. Not impressed
I agree that it's woodsy. It reminded me of outdoor hunting scents except a lil more refined. After wearing it a few times it grew on me. The 2 girls that smelled it liked it.
Nothing really stands out about this. Definitely a Masculine Scent. starts off Woody gets a bit Smokey and has a bit of musk too. Smells Natural to me. overall it's pretty good.
A very uniquely different woodsy fragrance is how I describe Encre Noire. Completely outside the box from what I'm use to but I like it. This scent is definitely not for everyone, my opinion only for the bold and daring man..
I set the bar high for this one, especially given the Lalique reputation. The combination of top, heart, and base notes feels out of balance. I found the vetiver to be overpowering at times. It’s worth a try, but for sure keep this for rare, special occasions. Think of it like a winter coat, feels great when you put it on, and even keeps you warm, but after wearing for some time it starts to way to toasty.
This is one of my new favorites. It's dark and woodsy. It's strong and weirdly musky and assertive. I have never had a scent that elicits this type of response. Some good and some not great, but I love it. If dracula had a scent this would be it (sexy Dracula not gross Dracula)
I can definitely see this as either a love or hate scent but I love it. It's a bit jarring when first sprayed but begins to mellow within 10-15 mins into a more earthy, woody scent that lasts quite a while before finally finishing as more of a musk. If you like more sweet scents, steer clear because there's none here.
Its a smoky first draft that dries down with an infusion of vetiver and dried fall leaves. I like that there is a lack of sweetness to the scent but would love to see a little more balance in the middle notes to round out the almost off notes of the dried grass/leaves . I'm a vetiver fanatic, so you can't go wrong with the idea. Comparable to Hermes Voyage, but not as sweet!
A beautiful fragrance. If you like vetiver, look no further. It has a deep, dark appeal to it. I find it to be an ideal evening scent and what's more it's fairly inexpensive as fragrances go. A total win / win.
If I had to describe this scent it’s like old lady, cigarettes, and the woods. no beuno
Very different smell but cool
So far after 6 months...thus was my favorite.
This scent is really unique and intriguing. It smells like damp earth. It smells like crypt. It smells like deep dark wet foliage. Think decay. Think Dracula, but in a good way. If you're a fan of earthy woodsy scents then this is definitely the scent for you.
Amazing scent.
Love this scent, has a fresh woody smell.
Absolutely stunning scent. Wears much more expensive than its actual cost. I would wear this even if I were the only one who could smell it. I'd wear it for me!
Opens up with a rain-soaked forest sort of smell. Like damp wood in the morning before the dew dries. Afterwards it morphs into more of a spicy, citrus kind of scent. Reminds me a bit of lemon peel zest in some respects. I chose to order a full sized.
Very nice fragrance. At first wasn't thrilled about what I just sprayed on myself. Then the dry down smelled great very masculine and spicy.
Didn't like it.
This has a distinct "old lady" smell. Not what I want to wear.
I love it
A distinctively pungent and bitter, musky fragrance with a hint of sweetness. Dark and smoky, like smoldering wet wood but with a decided appeal: you will either love it, or outright hate it. But it will demand your immediate appraisal.
It has its place, but not too excited about this one fo me. This sample will last a while, then fade into history.
I was excited to get this after research. A disappointing scent, nothing to write home about and I would likely never choose this over something else.
Great scent!
Not bad but more feminine than I like.
Really enjoyed this one. Probably best w/suits or business casual. I gravitate towards woody/musky scents and this fits the bill. Use sparingly as this can become overpowering quickly. Longevity is great, easily lasts an entire workday.
Smells bad!!
Not so good. Oh so good at being not so good.
A rainy forest at night. Not for everybody but very interesting.
I'm sorry but this cologne is awful can't see how anyone can give this fragrance anything more than a 3 and that's being generous but I guess to each their own
This perfume is for real male!
Today I have got my Noire! Fast shipping, real low price and very strong pack. And, first, aroma... It is smth unbelievable! So deep, so warm...mmm... Very delicious and for man only. And for our cold winter right now!?? Many many thanks for this aroma gift! +++++
Vetiver goes a long way here two types Haitian and French? Evening wear. I would imagine a sexy vampire wearing this one. I own this one.
