Amouage
A woody, unisex eau de parfum that plays with the idea of blue scents, with contrasting ingredients that evoke a sense of mystery and intrigue.
The union of the real and the unreal, the clashing of the impossible and the mundane – the surrealistic manifest that life is never truly what it seems to be. The meeting of fire and nightshade, of juicy Mandarin, grandiose Amber and somber Oud, King Blue is an oneiric wood supreme. 35% oil concentration, 10 weeks ageing: 5 weeks maceration.
Opus XV King Blue by Amouage is a Oriental Woody fragrance for women and men. Opus XV King Blue was launched in 2023 and was created by Alexis Grugeon and Hamid Merati-Kashani. Opens like… well, feces. No way around it. Then it suddenly turns into a 200-year-old library or an ancient church all old wood and mystery. It’s fascinating, but definitely not a “wear it out” kind of scent. More for collectors who enjoy suffering for art. Respect the creativity, but my nose is still in therapy. ??
Love this one, the combination of woods with a little sweetness is perfect. Get lots of compliments.
