This is the favorite of my whole family. My husband and my children all like this fragrance on me. It's warm but not too spicy and sweet but not too much like a teen body spray. The floral notes are pleasant and inviting.

At first it was a very floral scent. After awhile the middle notes were much nicer and less floral. I liked this much more. I unfortunately have only worn it one time (dr appts don’t wear perfume) I haven’t worn it enough to see how long it lasts. I hate perfume that disappears after a couple of hours

when i first sprayed the fragrance on myself it was a very strong floral sent but after it settled it turned into this floral sweet and spicy scent that I LOVEEE. this is a scent to wear at the office and for happy hour after , everyone goes crazy when i wear it. it also last all day i couldnt smell it on myself anymore but everyone around me kept asking me what i was wearing. i would absolutely recommend trying it out.

I’ve been using scent subscription services for a while now so my list of top scents is harder and harder to reach. Unfortunately, this one isn’t quite in the top tier. It’s good and I enjoy it. It’s got complexity and it lasts quite well, but it’s just missing that certain something that makes me love smelling a perfume over and over and over throughout the day. I could see this could be someone else’s top pick though easily.

At very first try, I didn't know if I liked it. But after a few mins of it I got a whiff of it on my skin and I was like what's that smell? I was shocked how good it smelled on me. And my man....shoo...he loves it. Can't get enough of it so he bought me a big bottle.

Libre is satin soft, not overpowering, modern, and not too floral-ly. The scent lasted all day for me and as my perfume tastes have changed from musky to more feminine, Libre encompasses everything feminine for me. This is a 5-star scent!

I wanted to try Libre because I seen so many rave reviews, however, this wasn't the fragrance for me. I was hoping for more of a cedar and musk base, after it settled, but it was just way too sweet on me. I know everyone has different chemistry, so maybe this just didn't mix well with my chemistry. I layered it with a more woody fragrance and it helped, but I'll gift it to someone else. I'm sure on others it's a wonderful scent.

I like this one, my partner said it makes him think of Christmas. The scent is mature and warm. Makes me think of a romantic evening. It also lasts long into the day. I put it on a list of scents I would purchase.

It smells great but doesn't last very long on my skin. Maybe an hour or 2 tops. I smelled my wrist a few hours after applying and couldn't smell anything...like I never applied it there in the first place. I really like how modern, sexy, yet youthful this fragrance is. I guess I'll just have to drench myself in it when I wear it...ugh.

Smells so good! It feels like a fall/winter scent for me. Last much longer than I expected. I sprayed at 7am and only started to notice the fade at 12. Most scents I tried lose smell after an hour or two.

I thought it was going to be heavy, but it lightened up into something really lovely. It has a sweet scent and a little boost of orange. It's pretty. Not too floral-y. Even though it's a slightly warm scent, I think it's appropriate all year. I will say it sort of smells like Neccos. Allspice, licorice, lemon, orange, chocolate, fresh.

Would be good for a night out. Smells a tiny bit old ladyish. Doesn't last super long though.

Not my type

Light and unobtrusive, with a synthetic soft-fruity opening, Libre, at first, stroke me as forgettable. On a closer look, though, I was surprised by its pleasant, well-composed accords and unique character. It’s fun to have an aromatic lavender & ambroxan-featuring scent that manages to smell so feminine and pretty, just as well as crisp and energetic – and that the resulting fragrance isn’t loud and challenging with those contrasts, but satiny-smooth, light and absolutely easy and pleasant to wear.

It’s a pretty nice day-to-day fragrance. It smells pretty clean and subtle. Not to overbearing at all and it does last. Recommend it you’re going for the clean-girl aesthetic.

At first spray it was wonderful. Light, floral, a musky vanilla sweet. After about thirty minutes all I can smell is lavender and the musk is overpowering. It ends up smelling more like a mens cologne on me unfortunately. I really wanted to love it.

Very alluring perfume! Sweet/floral from the orange and Jasmine, after the initial musk smell. I do smell a little lavender, so fresh smelling. It's strong at first, but it does calm down after a couple hrs. It last atleast 12 hrs, I smell wonderful all day!

YSL Libre has a very deep, mature smell. She is lovely but very rich. She is definitely for evenings and may not be an everyday fragrance for most women. At first spray, it was a little powdery and older, however once it settles notes of vanilla and lavender with a hint if spice comes through.

This fragrance is a total surprise. I love it. I now have another great YSL fragrance to add to my list.

Love it! I’ve always loved Libre from ysl! The intense version is my favorite but I couldn’t find that so I went for the regular edp and it did not disappoint. Same notes, pretty much, just not as much of a punch of smell- usually other people say it’s to much when I wear the intense versions so this is nice to have for those around me that have sensitive noses and don’t wear perfumes as much. Lovely scent, all the notes mix together well. I love smelling it for probably hours even after I sprayed it so it’s got some staying power to it, which I also love! The less I use the longer it’ll last! It’s a good everyday scent for the bold. Personally I chose my perfumes for myself and get what I want to smell like not for anyone else, so I don’t care if others like it or not as long as I do. I love it though, worth a try and adding to your collection. If you want something that pacts a bigger punch and has more orange vanilla notes that stick out more, and last until the next day, go find the intense version of this you’ll love it. It’s very strong so if you’re not used to using perfumes much it’s probably not for you, for me its perfect. Scent box unfortunately doesn't have the intense version of this so I’ll have to find it else where. All the scent I’ve gotten off this site have be 100 percent what I remember them smelling like, back when I used to have money and could afford perfumes from Ulta- where you know they’re legit places- so it was really nice to find this site, take a chance on it for a discount with my first month, get what I expected but even better (I love the twist perfume bottles they come with, I go scent bird too and they’re bottles are much different- not as great- still great scents but these bottles that come from scent box are more sturdy and a new bottle in a fun new color comes with each perfume, and the bottles more sturdy. Fun twist and close feature to them.) scent box has more of a selection too but scent bird has some that scent box dose not- I know this has nothing to do with this fragrance but I didn’t know the differences until I tried both so I just wanted to share for anyone wondering the differences. I found sugar leather on scent bird and love it. What I also love about scent box is being able to get a bigger bottle at a discount, plus you get credit for the orders with the subscription and your orders you can use towards the bigger bottle. I just got opium intense the 1oz that’s $100 for $71 with the coupon code and my $4.99 credit applied which was awesome!!! I couldn’t have afforded it for $100. And because my travel sizes have come legit I trust this 1oz bottle will come legit, which is also awesome. I’m trying to rebuild my perfume collection on a budget, this site definitely helps! I tried one off eBay and it was not authentic so I’ll stick to the legit and truth worthy sites. Back to the scent though you’ll love it. Sexy, warm, and inviting scent.

I liked it! I think it definitely comes off very sweet at first and then settles into a more mature fragrance. I personally haven't felt like it has a very radiant scent. I don't think I've received compliments on it and quite frankly I've felt like I can't really smell it after just putting it on, but I will grab garments I sprayed it on a week later and still very much smell it and it stills smells very nice so... yeah not sure about that but I do like the scent.

2 Stars for the lasting scent which was not my thing. Initial spray smelled like bug spray or serious cough medicine. I love YSL Black Opium original and wanted to love this so badly, but its a no for me. I was hoping the dry down would lighten it, but it was awful from beginning to end and wished the smell would go away but it lasted for hours.

Clean and professional floral but slightly powdery in the ‘old people’ type of way. Love the lavander and jasmine they are what makes this scent good. Would have liked a little more brightness from more fruit and less orange blossom.

I fell for the hype and instantly regretted it. This was a gross powder bomb. This smells like rotting fruit soaked in baby powder. That’s the only way I can describe it. It’s crazy strong, like one spray gave me a headache and I could not scrub it off of me. I don’t understand why this fragrance gets so much hype. Reminds me of that scent you get hit with when entering a nursing home.

I love this fragrance, it’s a compliment getter. My coworkers say it smells expensive and sophisticated. I feel it smells a bit sweet, like from white flowers or fruits, and musky. It lasts many hours in the skin and has a fair projection.

I am on the fence about this fragrance. When I first spray it, there is a note that I do not care for, then it dries down, and it is a lovely scent.

Very nice, last for a long time. Don’t spray too much as it is strong if you do.

Lavender makes it lean masculine. First spray smelled like something my husband would wear. Stays like that on clothes. On the skin it doesn't last as long but the drydown is nice. Influencers over hyped this perfume.

Standard sexy-expensive-mature smelling fragrance, more more spicy than sweet though. It lasted on me the entire night when put over body oil. personal preference but it smells more amazing when mixed with Flowerbomb by victor rolf !! overall worth a try if you’re looking for a mature not too sweet sexy smell.

This makes me feel like a boss lol. Its very unique compared to all my other perfumes. The lavender is really strong at first but once it dries down the orange blossom and vanilla come through so beautifully. With all of the vanilla perfumes I have I prefer to have the original EDP over the flankers for now.

I really like the black opium by YSL but this perfume smells very different in a good way. I’m glad this was recommended to me because it still has the strength of black opium but has more of a vanilla scent

I had to admit - I hated this at first sniff (in a store, not from Scentbox). But, smelling in store can be misleading - you're in a hurry, you might be wearing other perfume, etc. So I wanted to give it another chance, since I kept hearing how nice this one was. I'm really glad I chose this as one of my scents to receive from Scentbox - that way, I had time to let it sit on my skin, and I could see how the perfume would evolve over time. First spray - you definitely get hit with the lavender. It's not a bad smell, but I figured out that's what turned me off initially. I'm not a fan of masculine perfumes. Lavender definitely can go that way. But after the initial spray wore off (and I'll admit, it wasn't unpleasant, just different than what I'm used to - I'm a gourmand lover) - the vanilla came out nicely. My verdict? It is feminine but can be unisex. It definitely is a cooler weather scent (for my skin chemistry). I have to be "in the mood" to wear this - sometimes I love it, other times it's just OK. Other people compliment it like crazy though. The dry down of this perfume is where it's at, in my opinion.

This scent has layers. At first it seemed a little too masculine for me. It starts spicy with hints of sweetness. As it dries down, it's not as spicy and I get hints of a sweeter scent, not too floral, almost a light cotton candy. I keep reaching for this. It has a good sillage and lasts pretty long.

I love this one! It's extremely versatile and long-lasting. I can see why some people would think it is more of a masculine smell, but I think the spice is offset by a nice sweetness. I love this perfume! This one is a compliment getter! I feel very sophisticated when I wear this. It’s a grown up fragrance without being “mature”. The lavender in this mixes with the vanilla perfectly and isn’t overly masculine.

Is a lovely fragrance just not for me. It smells like many others, nothing new about it, that said, is perfect for "upscale" from very youthful fragrance or for a special bottle, is very universal so is quite the safe gift and is also great for office if you looking for something sweet. It has a good longevity and does not disappoint. Great for early 20s or young workers, very nice for night wear too.

I loved this fragrance a lot. I paired it with the sweet subtle scent by Jimmy Choo and it worked out. This was strong enough to last and smelled modern and distinguished. I think this scent would be a could smell for almost anyone. Although if you are sensitive to stronger scents and need one that’s sits just close to the skin then this one isn’t so much for you.

It’s growing on me. The initial spray smells more mature then it dries down to a nice fresh scent. It definitely stayed on my clothes all day. Not yet sure if I would buy a full bottle.

This is definitely a warmer scent. Perfect for date nights and the fall/winter times. At first it reminded me of something my grandma would wear lol but after wearing it all day it grew on me. The longevity is great on me, just wouldn’t purchase a bigger bottle after finishing the sample. Don’t care for it too much.

I love this scent, I usually stay away from oriental scents because woods and musks don't have a pleasant dry down on my skin, I don't find that with this ysl. In fact this has almost more of a mature gourmand profile to me with with hint of nectarine which is possibly the Orange blossom that I find sweet but not overbearing. The downside is the short longevity and price. If you like this but want something cheaper I suggest DKNY Nectar Love, VERY similar.

i don't know if i get much of the orange and vanilla! the musk is nice, not overpowering, but definitely a darker, warmer winter scent. was hoping to catch some of those lighter notes and see if i could wear this as a daytime scent, but have found i prefer its energy for cooler evenings. i found this was long lasting sprayed onto my clothes; slightly less so just on skin. to me, very much a modern classic—musky and spicy.

I absolutely LOVE this fragrance. I was visiting my niece a while back and she picked me up in her car to take me to lunch. Anyway, when I got into her car, I said "oh my, what are you wearing?" She said 'Libre', which I had never heard of until that day. Our 'perfume chemistries' are very similar, so I knew I had to have it. I purchased Libre and Libre Intense. I love them both. Amazing fragrances, that really smell like quality perfumes. I could not choose a season, because I think you could wear it ANYTIME!

To me it smelled too floral

This is a lovely scent taking from day to night, it's elegant, with floral notes keeping it feminine but there is a subtle spice and warmth to it. As it sits on the skin over the day, I end up smelling more vanilla and a touch of woodiness and it feels warm and lovely. It lasts a good while but the sillage fades throughout the day in a wonderful way, by the end of the day my partner will not notice the scent when standing next to me but when they kiss my neck or hug me they get a whiff of that woody vanilla and remark at how great I smell. With other reviews remarking it was spicy I was worried, I am not one for very musky or spicy perfumes but this is PERFECTLY balanced, it is a touch of spice, perhaps stronger on some body chemistries, but mine personally picks up more floral and then vanilla/wood.

I love this perfume so much. It is such a complex smell and it wears down so beautifully. I was worried when I first smelled it that it was going to be a bit manly, but it settles to a very beautiful cool vanilla fragrance. It smells 100x better on the skin than from the bottle.

I really like this scent, think a sexy London fog drink. There are strong overtones of lavender and warm vanilla, which could smell old lady like, but the freshness of the orange and jasmine really seem to balance out the smell and brightens it and makes it more youthful, or modern. The vanilla really seems to warm up the scent and really helps the scent linger on the skin, making it last all day!

I can see why this is all the rage. Its like a deep and warm molten gold and amber, a spritz of orange peel and a something edible and yummy. (Maybe like a lighter more feminine Jazz Club by Replica). Im going to get the full bottle of this. The Intense version is also good - but more deeply sweeter like a smoked licorice skittle. Will work for summer, fall or winter. Office or nighttime.

Not what I was expecting. It's not horrible but not what I like. It's a very clean scent. Sort of a strong soapy smell. Definitely one spray does the job as it is very strong. I personally wouldn't purchase this. It takes some getting use to the scent I've only used it 3 times and only because it was in my bag

I tried this at Ulta and I liked it better than the others, but when I received it here, it did not smell good at all! It's very strong, and was headache inducing. I am very sensitive to fragrances though, so it might be good for someone who isn't so sensitive.

Not what I expected as the scent seems more suitable for men than women. It smells amazing for a man, but not soft or feminine and does not match my style and personality. Reminds me of after shave for an older man. I may just give this to my dad to be honest.

Smells awful on me. Initially it smells like old toothpaste for some reason. The toothpaste smell fades after an hour or two and it ends up smelling like something a rich 90 year lady would wear. Not the scent for me.

This scent is perfect for cold weather! It’s a perfect blend of sexy and feminine. Makes me feel like a real boss. I’m definitely purchasing a bottle.

This is a great warm vanilla orange scent. I believe it’s a very stylish fragrance. I would wear it to work in the office, going to happy hour with friends after work or bring it with me on a business trip/conference. It’s not a every single everyday scent. The fragrances I have chosen to receive from Scentbox here recently haven’t really been great. But I am so happy with this choice that I plan on purchasing this fragrance.

My favorite scent!!

In LOVE with this scent, which I didn't expect. Super beautiful especially when applied to the skin, where it really develops and shines. For how light/inoffensive it is, I was surprised that I could still smell it faintly in the morning after applying it the night before. One of my top 3 favoite fragrances at the moment.

Omg this fragrance makes me feel so warm and calm. I dont smell the lavender as much but that is probably why I get a calmness to it. The jasmine and orange are very prominent but in a cohesive way. I also like that the musk is present upfront. For me I could wear this all day because it has this calming effect everytime I smell it. I sprayed this at work and it just so happened to be a stressful day and I found it really soothing. But its also nice to wear at bedtime. After the dry down its very soft and cozy.

I love this scent, yet the longevity leaves something to be desired! The opening spray is like the most romantic/ sexy thing thing that you've ever done and 20 minutes later you're the only one on that journey. 40 minutes later you've been abandoned. I wish the sexiness lasted but again a lot of good things never do and that's why this one gets a 3. This seems so soft for YSL, steaming from owning YSL and being a fanatic. Worth a try but not a buy!!!!!

Smells great in the beginning but the dry down is too powdery for me.

It’s not bad but it’s not great. It’s a little strong when it first comes out, but it dries down pretty nicely. The scent is not incredibly long lasting (3 maybe 4 hours depending on pulse point), which is not necessarily a bad thing. I’m kind of undecided on how I like the smell because it smells differently on me than it does in the bottle.

Not much complexity, I've always loved Rive Gauche from YSL, but this reminds me of a cheaper fragrance geared for younger women, sugary sweet but flat, lacking something

This is a warm kind of scent. I find it to be quite spicy and a bit musky but not in a bad way. As it starts to dry down a little it turns into a more sweet type of spicy. I feel like it has a classic element to it where someone who's fond of more classic fragrances would enjoy this one. I think it's probably going to be more attractive to mature women rather than younger ones.

Its okay! Its very strong and powdery when first applied smelling more like an old lady.. but as it dries down it smells very good.. just doesn't last long at all.. unless you use a bunch! But still something worth trying for sure! Guess I just had higher expectations for this bc ive wanted to try it for so long. Lol.

It isn't my favorite when first sprayed, but I really like the lingering notes. It lasts all day too, but all YSL fragrances have great longevity. It just isn't a daily use perfume for me, more like date night. It is definitely worth a try though! I still enjoy it, I'm just a tough crowd when it comes to fragrance.

I love this scent! It's very long-lasting (like I can go to sleep in it and wake up with it still on) and smells very sexy. I do think it is a more mature scent because it reminds me of my mom but I still enjoy it.

Im a huge fan of YSL fragrances, my most favorite is black opium and just like it Libre has a long lasting scent that stays all day with a touch up in the afternoon, i highly recommend it for everyday and every occasion, i recieve compliments everytime i wear it from both men and women

This is a very “powerful” scent. Very rich but sexy, feminine but not light and airy. Comes off as a masculine scent at first take. I would wear this for a fall date night.

So, this is surprising but not surprising? I'm testing this out and am immediately reminded of Mon Guerlain EDP and Pure Poison (2019). Just to test this theory, I layered those two on one arm and Libre on the other. Libre is much lighter with the OB and Lavendar sharing center stage; the MG vanilla is much more dense and loud. Certainly there are similarities but I reject my hypothesis and accept the null: MG + PP does not = Libre. (But MG:PP 1:2 ratio is closer...) The lavender, citrus and ambergris make Libre intoxicating-ly aromatic yet the OB and vanilla maintain unmistakable femininity. Quite unisex but leans feminine in dry down. This is blended beautifully and overall, wonderful! A must-try IMO.
