This is the most beautiful scent for a woman that loves a fresh, crisp, yet warm fragrances. It's not too powdery, yet it gives a cozy cotton warmth. The musk and woody scent settles this fragrance into a hug that also reflects confidence. It's a scent that can be worn during the day, to the office, and even date night for intimate closeness. It draws you into it's intoxicating layers. I need a full bottle of Valaya!

When I first sprayed this perfume, it smelled.peppery and I didn't like it. But after few seconds, it opened up. The scent just kept growing more intoxicating. This very quickly became my signature perfume. Most.perfumes and scents don't last long on me, but this one does! The prohection is also great. People notice, and I get tons of compliments. It's very feminine, but has depth. It's sweet, but not too powdery. It's so well balanced. It's not overly citrusy, and there's a clean, soft musk, amber, woodsy scent.

This is a well love fragrance but no matter how many time I try it, I'm just not a fan.

Not for me. Someone said pencil shavings, I agree with that. It's like almost ok, then it's not... this is a difficult one to decide if I like it or not I think I'm going with not

I fell in love with this scent immediately. What many describe as “musky” I experienced quite differently to me, it is floral throughout with that subtle hint of woody musk only in the background. The florals don’t dominate aggressively they remain lively, fresh and airy ideal for daytime wear. It has an energetic, crisp quality, but retains enough depth (via the woody-musk base) to feel substantial. I found it blends well with casual or professional settings approachable yet refined.

This is one of those fragrances that just keeps happening. It is an event. It is fun, interesting, pretty, and it refuses to be ignored. I sprayed it after a shower and the bathroom continued to smell like it for days. The robe I was wearing continues to hold the scent a week later. And what a scent! But what am I smelling? Oranges! No, wait, roses. Nope, that's definitely peach. I don't even know, but I love it. Normally, I'd find this persistance obnoxious, but this fragrance is different. Highly recommend.

This is the first time I’ve tried a perfume with heavy citrus, and it didn’t work with my chemistry.

So fresh and lifting! It reminds me of a well organized student, preppy, awake and ready for life. I really love it to awaken my senses and get me in the mood for greeting the day. Definitely has a gauzy cotton veil feeling but isn't too sharp or crisp. Its just perfect!

I was disappointed because I wanted ti like this so much but it was so spicy on me thats all I could smell. Very strong perfume even after trying to wash it off it wouldn't budge

It’s a strong and layered fragrance. At first it opened with orange/peaches and flowers, dries down to a nice musky floral. It’s not a linear scent, it changes as the top notes wear off. I think it’s interesting and worth trying. Definitely a summer scent.

It was ok. Not my thing. Heavy citrus.

All I get on paper and on my skin is body odor, cumin, and pencil shavings. I am so disappointed. There is a split second of florals while it is wet then it’s horrid. And it stays around too long. I almost wonder if something is wrong with my decant…

It’s okay, It doesn’t mix well with my body chemistry, the vetiver just turns to BO smell on me .. I wouldn’t blind buy this I definitely recommend sampling first ..

One of my most worn fragrances. If you like the smell of clean sheets, light candles and softness this is the one! It blends in with my skin so well and it’s so soft. If you like really soft clean scent try this one out. I will wash my clothes and the smell lingers even after! The life on this is crazy!!

This was my first Parfum de marly scent and I really like it.

It’s a sweet, clean fragrance. Great for work or church.

Elevated citrus - clean scent. it's citrus in a non pungent way; Very uplifting and airy . Can't see anyone getting offended by this one. This is an easy reach that lasts about six hours on my skin and forever on clothes or hair. I can see myself wearing it throughout the year but it's perfect for high temperatures.

Sharp and Adelydic. Very, very reminiscent of laundry detergent.

Stunning fragrance. Wish it lasted longer as it only seems to last about 1 hour before I need to apply more. The sillage is also short.

This is an incredibly fresh, clean scent, I mostly pick up aldehydes, citrus, and peach. I've been waiting a while to try it and I have to say that I'm underwhelmed. It's a nice fragrance, but nothing special, particularly for the price point. It's very linear and can lean a bit into cleaning product territory. I love laundry scents, but could see how the aldehydes in this would turn people off or potentially cause headaches. It gets a solid "meh" from me.

Omg, so good. Longevity is excellent. Fragrance is light, but intoxicating. Feminine and my fav Parfum de Marly by far.

Like so many others have said—this was not love at first sniff. But the longer it sits on your skin, the warmer it becomes and less synthetic. After a full day's wear, I got a whiff of myself and thought to myself, "who is she???" A+++

This is a clean and fruity scent. I’d say its versatile, you can layer this scent to make it more masculine, sweet, floral etc. It doesn’t stand out to me, I would wear this sample but I don’t think I’d buy a full size.

I see why this is not in stocks. She smells wonderful. If I could see myself spending the coins for this, a perfume I'd have several bottles.

I love Parfum de Marly fragrances and this scent is in my top 5. I always get compliments on this scent. Long lasting and a beautiful dry down.

As much as it stays on skin, it stays on clothes for daaayyysss. It’s a little similar to Oriana and Delina, like they had a baby and it’s Valaya.

The longer I wore it the more I disliked it. I just am not as impressed with the Parfum de Marly scents. This one just smells synthetic to me.

This fragrance leans more floral to me. It feels very fresh and clean almost like a crisp morning. I would say longevity is moderate. I do need to reapply mid day but I can smell it linger on my clothes. I’ve received a few compliments wearing this as well. I had someone come up to me and say they could smell my fragrance as I walked and I smelled so fresh and beautiful. I think it’s an elegant scent.

This is my second month getting this scent. It’s gold. You have to be careful how you layer it because while light, its notes don’t always play well with others. Very elegant, wedding-esq type of scent. I wear it to work and you can smell it my entire 12+ hour shift.

Absolutely love this! Light, long lasting, smells amazing

I really wanted to love this, but it just gets a 3.5 from me. The opening reminded me very much of Light Blue, which is one of my least favorite fragrances on me. It didn't develop into anything special. I guess I'm just not a blue fragrances girl. I'll take Musk Therapy any day of the week over this.... blasé attempt. It's well-crafted, just so boring, like Irish Spring and a polo boring.

Not a fan myself. It holds up longevity wise. The longer I wore it the more I disliked it though.

Soft sweet perfume, not potent by any means but quite lovely

This fragrance grew on me. When I first sprayed it I was not a fan but once it sat on my skin I was here for it. It’s pretty light with a slight citrus background. It has a classic scent that I can’t put my finger on at the moment.

Love love love, one of my favorites so far

So fresh and clean. It’s like clean laundry with a light spritz of fruit. The lasting power is supernatural. I can take a shower and still get whiffs of it afterwards and I shower like I’m scrubbing in for surgery. Really unique and well blended.

I think perhaps this brand is not for me. I honestly haven’t found one that fits me. This did not smell like peaches or oranges and was just more of a powdery smell to me. I don’t know, it’s probably just me because my husband liked it but I won’t be reaching for it. However it does last a very long time, so that’s good for those who would like it.

I have nothing positive to say about this fragrance. It makes me think of old clothes that have been in the attic for years.

Although this scent was not entirely what I expected, I still really liked it. It is a classic and sophisticated scent.

I am so glad this was available because I was determined to see what the hype was about. Valaya Did not disappoint. Bergamot and Vetiver sold me with the musk. Can’t wait to get the full size bottle. I would wear this in any season

Didn’t like

I wanted to love this because I heard so many great reviews but I should have known better. It has the same burned plastic (?) note that delina and oriana have that I can’t get past. I don’t think any PDM fragrances work for me. This was a scrubber.

Absolutely love this fragrance, It's very clean and fresh and last hours on me and get many compliments when wearing it. This has become one of my favorites and will definitely be buying the full size bottle of this one.

This is a musky scent. I wouldn't spend the money on a bottle because it reminds me so much of glossier which is cheaper than valaya. The longevity didn't last on me either.

I smell like angels and I'm not sorry. This is so much better than Delina! If you like floral aldehydes, this is the best! So easy to wear and really long lasting. You'll smell pretty all day. Highly recommend

Lovely, very nice not too sweet or feminine

At first, I wasn't sure if I was going to like the parfum, but I ended up loving it! I get so many complements when I wear it. And after the dry down, it is so nice and feminine. It last all day and has a nice projection. I'm looking forward to trying more from this line.

Didn’t like at first. Tried it a few times and it’s not that bad. I get citrus notes, not very sweet. This is more peppery on me. Just isn’t for me.

It’s just ok. There is a bitter oud note that ruins it for me. However, the much less expensive DUPE for Valaya is called Attar Collection Azora and it is fabulous! It’s Valaya without the bitter note. Save yourself over $200 & get Azora

Very fresh, but too much of a gardenia scent for me.

Incredibly fresh, clean and beautiful scent. It lasts all day with just one or two sprays. Really like this one and will be reaching for it when looking for something clean and fresh. I suspect this will be a compliment getter, particularly for those who generally do not compliment heavy or very floral scents. I think it would be appealing to someone who claims not to like fragrance.

This scent does remind me of laundry detergent not entirely in a bad way. Has hints of citrus and can come off a bit powdery. If you like Delina and are expecting a scent like Delina I suggest not getting this one. If youre looking for something clean and fresh then this is for you

Very beautiful feminine fragrance. I think the citrus makes it very fresh.

This is the first fragrance I've worn where people have truly complimented me on my scent. I wear a lot of different scents and this one gets a reaction. Spray on body and clothes if you want it to last all day. On skin only, it wears off me within a few hours.

Valaya is an Absolutely a beautiful scent. My newest favorite by Parfums De Marly. I have 3 so far. One of them is definitely Delina! I’ve gotten so many compliments on Valaya. It lasts all day too! I’ve already put it back in my calendar rotation for the summer. I think you’ll love it too!

The best way I can describe how this smells to me is when you hang your clothes up after being freshly washed and pull it off the rack a few months later to find it still has remnants of laundry detergent. It’s fresh but theres something else (aldehydes maybe?) that make it slightly sharp where I tend to gravity towards softer sweeter fragrances. I will say it lasts FOREVER! I think this will pair well with a sweet fragrance so all in all I’m happy to keep it and experiment with it!

To me this is a sweet scent . It is quite strong so it was too overwhelming if I strayed more than once. The scent doesn’t dye down, very sweet fruit and a little powdery. It is more on the warm side. I was curious about this brand’s perfumes, this one isn’t for me.

After two years of very unmemorable fragrances, thankfully I discovered Valaya. The scent is so sophisticated and perfect for summer.

Such a beautiful fragrance! It's elegant and feminine! You can wear it anytime of day / season! It's an alluring fragrance. Grown and sexy but still young and flirty! Very addictive! Many compliments! 12+ hrs of wear, beastmode for 6 to 8 hrs, personal/ skin scent after 8 hrs.
