Astaral is a heavy, feminine scent that I think is probably polarizing in a love it or hate it way. It smells expensive and actually is a bit oily on the skin. The scent is very strong, I actually got a slight headache the first time I wore it and it lasts all day. It’s advertised as a unisex fragrance but as previously mentioned it’s feminine. For me, this smells like old lady perfume and is unfortunately a dud! I’m going to try to exchange it.

I recently sampled Xerjoff Astaral, and while it's undoubtedly a well-crafted fragrance, it's not quite what I was looking for. As a 37-year-old male, I found it to be more suited for sophisticated women in their 60s. The scent is rich and elegant, with a strong presence of amber and rose that gives it a timeless quality. Although it’s described as unisex, after a few hours of wearing it, I’ve realized it’s not a fit for me. Interestingly, while Astaral doesn’t smell like Baccarat Rouge 540, it does have a similarly strong presence that commands attention. There were moments when I almost convinced myself that I could wear it, but now that I've had more time with it, I’m certain it’s not what I’m looking for. Overall, Astaral is a lovely fragrance, but it leans in a direction that doesn’t align with my personal taste.

Ok, so, weird review. I love this scent but can't wear it. It leans heavily masculine to me, and I'll happily wear Herod, Naxos, By the Fireplace, Grand Soir... It is heavy and bold, so leave it for fall and winter or you may choke out yout loved ones. I'd love my man to wear this on a date night. Maybe I'll try it again this winter.

Lovely strength if you use one spritz
