Masque Milano
Back in 2010, a few days before launching MASQUE Milano, I was invited to the Premiere of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. It was my first time in a 3D movie theater and the experience was so realistic that several times - unconsciously - I moved swiftly to the side, to dodge objects flying in the movie. Falling in the rabbit hole is something that still gives me the thrills. Ever since, I fancied we would develop a fragrance about this crazy tale! The inspiration for Lost Alice comes from Chapter Seven – A Mad Tea-Party, where one could almost smell the Hatter's tea, milk, bread and butter, served in a bucolic setting. Add some scones to complete a very Brit cream tea, and the magic is complete. - Alessandro, co-founder of Masque Milano.
First of all, Lost Alice is not your typical gourmand! It does have gourmand attributes, but it also has facets of citrus, woods, florals, musks, resins, and herbs. In fact, it's a bit of an enigma... much like Alice herself; elusive and hard to define. The top of the fragrance has fresh tea notes, which incorporate bergamot, black pepper, sage, and mate absolute. The heart goes into a delectable cake with ginger, carrot heart, iris, rose, and broom absolute. The dry down is an addictive cocooning blend of fleur de lait, steamed milk, and musk. I think the journey from top to dry is really special, as it evolves so much and so smoothly on the skin, while still surprising you with each new note that appears. - Mackenzie Reilly, perfumer

It's very unique. I do find myself reaching for it more and more. Hard to define, I think it's a perfect at the office scent because it's unassuming and not obnoxious.
lost alice
This is really a beautiful fragrance, but it’s a bit to youthful for me I enjoy it layered with a more Smokey scent to make it richer.
It's not love at first sniff, but I will keep trying. Maybe if I had gotten it in October, I would like it better. A very fall/winter scent to me. The opening is sharp and peppery, but the dry down is a nice tea and carrot cake.
This was my most recent scent. It has a very strong peppery opening and it reads a bit astringent from the bergamot and musky slightly herbal sage. The drydown is beautiful though…milky black tea with creamy sandalwood with a touch of sweetness. It’s also has the powder and musk from the ambrette ,carrot seeds and orris. Quietly beautiful perfume. Perfect for daytime and brunch. It really does start to really shine about an hour in.
It wasn’t love at first sniff. After trying it a few times it became one of my top tier fragrances. It’s interesting, cozy, and comforting. It smells tea like, slightly feminine leaning.
Lovely scent. On my skin it smells like black bergamot tea with a milky note. I can also smell the freshness of carrot with spiciness at the opening note. This is a unique scent for me, like nothing I have in my collection. It settles into a lovely powdery note that I want for the day time. Very upscale and unique.
This is my first one! I like it. It smells like black tea with a splash of milk. Similar to Lady Gray tea. It doesn't change much, or develop on my skin. It's always pleasant, but not much depth. It lasts about 6 hrs on me.
Complex and perfect for fall. Sweet, warm, floral unisex scent. I love it & I receives many compliments while wearing. Full bottle worthy for me
Most magical scent out there
This is a lovely feminine powdery fragrance. If you like powdery almond forward scents this one is for you. I like bold scents so this one is not for me, but still a lovely fragrance.
This is so good ! Kind of reminds me of Blanche Bete which I own . It’s woody and lactonic ! Love !
A beautiful scent which evokes the scents of an English tea house brimming with fancy teas and pastries. It really lives up to its name and is a gorgeous scent suited for a warm cozy winter's day. I got many compliments when wearing it and I think I will make it my new winter perfume!
I had been waiting to try this for so long. I am disappointed. I just don't like it, it has no staying power, on me at all. There's not much more to say.
Nice vanilla, takes you on a little journey thru some vegetal, spicy, and sweet notes before settling on a pretty generic vanilla vibe. I like it a lot, not a love. Husband likes it. Modest last.
I love this scent. Not as sweet as I thought it would be but still a very lovely scent.
This fragrance is pleasant enough. But to say it is unisex is a gross mischaracterization. It definitely has clean characteristics, but I would say it is very floral forward. The bergamot comes through faintly in the dry down. Bottom line for me is that Lost Alice is not particularly masculine.
If you like bdk Gris Charnel I think you will love this. It’s close to Gris charnel but yet totally different in creamy sweet way. I love it.
Takes you on a journey, very unusual, i personally adore it
Great scent!!!!
Smells amazing and I just adore Alice and Wonderland but so let down by the spillage and woftyness of this perfume.
nice summer fragrance
love it
It was underwhelming
I didn’t pick up any of the creamy carrot cake or gourmand really, at all. This fragrance surprised me because I had such high hopes based off the description and for me, it did not deliver any of that. I was sold on this through tiktok and I will say, it is definitely a cooler weather fragrance so perhaps I just tried it at the wrong time.
Lovely and complex
Very sweet and clean smelling. A little too sweet for me.
Absolutely divine on my skin. Gourmand, spicy, sweet, but not too much. Very nicely balanced and long-lasting.
