This smells Like Nishane Ani, I had to do a double take and look at the name at the bottom to see if that’s what it was. Now I do love Ani and this is a tad different, I can see why ppl say more masculine because of the dry down but still very beautiful. I like it but as a woman would wear Ani.

Don’t trust the initial spray. So misleading. Smelled very old man old spice like at first. Dry down is such a warm, sweet amber with vanilla. Anyone could wear it anywhere.

St first, I really didn't like this. I try to stay away from amber.I decided to wear it a couple of more days. I still don't like the opening,but the dry down is more refined and is just lovely. It's something I would wear to dinner or in the winter.

Amazing fragrance. One of the best amber fragrances of all time and a new favorite in my collection. Will be buying a full bottle of this very soon. Performance and sillage are incredible, I can spray it on at night and wear it the next day without reapplying. Perfectly balanced amber, vanilla and tonka bean, sweet but not cloying. 10/10

Very strong amber with some vanilla coming through, it lasts forever and I love it but I can see how it might not be for everyone. Certainly not for those who might prefer light, airy, and clean fragrances, though I like those too. I just prefer dark, dank and heady scents like this one. All in all it is a beautiful perfume.

Amber Vanilla Smokey Sexy Scent. Gorgeous. It doesn't last very long. That's sad because I really love it. I feel sorry for any man or woman of an elevated age who reads these reviews. I joined Scentbox to sample new scents that I normally wouldn’t try. This was one of those for me. I tend to like florals and this is the complete opposite. It’s a warm, spicy, vanilla amber. I was surprised how much I liked it to be honest. It’s definitely meant for cooler weather. I also think it’s a fragrance probably better suited for a mature woman. It smells like a classy woman who knows what she wants. It definitely lasted on me. It rubbed off my my clothes and I could still smell it the next morning. Pleasantly surprised all the way around.

I was super excited for this! Simple - elegant vanilla and amber. Maybe I hyped my expectations up a little bit too much. It is a vanilla/amber fragrance. However, I found it a bit lackluster and just didn’t hit how I anticipated.

Grand soir is an amazing amber fragrance. Opening to me is a little medicinal but the dry down is very nice. To me it also has this boozy smell through out the fragrance. Last me about 8-9 on the skin and over a day on clothes

It’s nice and sweet but it’s a common scent and way too soft for me. On deep dry down, I do get a hint of BR540 ingredient.

An intoxicating blend of incense, spice, smoke, and vanilla. Definitely not an everyday fragrance due to how heavy it is, this is more for a special night out.

Another wonderful MFK fragrance. Amber and tonka bean really come through here. I wear this fragrance in the winter when I'm dressed nice in a cardigan or wool jacket hitting a night on the town. Lovely scent.

A beautiful masculine leaning amber vanilla fragrance. I loved smelling on my skin and clothes for therapy. Reapplied it throughout the day & whittled down the sample size pretty quickly. I live in Montana and its very cold. Received a lady complimentwhile at work.. This scent is luxurious and gorgeous on anyone, but I feel like it doesn't last as long on me.

I absolutely love this. It is very gender neutral. It starts a bit more masculine but dries down into a softer amber lilt. Gorgeous and sensual.

At first, it starts off a bit masculine. It has a bit of spice at first and smell a bit like men's cologne. As it dries down, the spice settles and the vanilla is able to be more center stage. I didn't like it at first smell but as it dried down I found I became very fond of it. Trust the process is all I can say.

This scent was definitely worth upgrading my subscription for! It’s such a beautiful, cozy amber vanilla scent. It’s sweet without being foody, with a subtle spice to it. It creates the loveliest scent bubble around you that feels like a hug. Great scent for fall and winter, but I’m a rebel who refuses to give up my favorites in the warmer months so I’m sure I’ll wear this year round. A full bottle of this fragrance is pricey, but I think it’ll be worth saving up for.

I love this scent. It reminds me of Opium by YSL but fresher. it is heavy, warm and spicy and can be warn in the winter or in the evening. I think it's very femeninebif you like spice.

I give this 3 stars because it is very well done, but totally not a feminine scent AT ALL!! Perhaps these days with gender norms being fluid it's more ok for a woman to wear this, but if you are a feminine type of lady then this will not be compatible. I could see this on a more masculine type of woman who's super confident in her skin. This in the beginning almost reminds me of a barber who wants his client to smell good. Or even my grandpa from WWII at some points, the deep amber. Let me say though, that if you are a man I think it might be incredible on you, both younger and older. I say "might" cause I'm still not sure about that amber note. At times it even has a yeast-like fresh bakes pastry smell, ???? So strange! That being said, the hype is real, this is excquisitely well done. Just totally not for me! Totally not my personality.

When I first sprayed it I did not like it . It was too strong overpowering. But when I let it sit on my skin and mixed with my body chemistry oh boy it smelled devine. Boozy, warm with a hint of Vanilla . My new favorite. Also great to scent layer with Safanad.

I love BR540 but I hated this one. It's somehow too sirupy, spicy and powdery at the same time. It smells like a really old perfume that's lost it's punch.

It projects beautifully, and it lasts upward of 20 hours on my skin.

Initially I wasn't convinced I loved it, but I had sprayed it on and my teenage son said " mom you smell amazing" so that compliment spoke volumes si I decided to keep it. I wore it twice to work, and I have received many compliments. It is a heavier scent but it's wonderful. I will definitely order again.

It smells like powdery, benzoin amber. I never got much more than that. For the retain price, I really expected more complexity. It stays pretty close to the skin.

Love love this scent. It's similar to Tobacco Vanille, but sweeter and without the tobacco, if that makes sense. It lasts forever and definitely a unisex fragrance. Like others have said, it's more of a fall/winter or evening/special occasion scent.
