Unlike anything else I've encountered. It has so much going on that I think I'll need time to get to know it.

I really love this perfume. It's a very strong scent. The fig notes are stronnngggg. Definitely a heady scent and less floral and more incense like almost. I do love it though!

I like this fragrance, but I don't love it. It's warm, spicy, sweet-definitely in my wheelhouse of favorite types of scents, but it's not that right combination for me.

My last month's sample was Gris Charnel and I expected Ouverture to be very similar. Thankfully it is not (although I like Gris Charnel too). While Gris Charnel is unisex with a dry down that veers slightly masculine, Ouverture has many feminine qualities that stand out. It has an airier quality, greater sweetness and a syrupy fruitiness similar to its family members in the Velvet collection like Erba Pura and Accento Overdose. That syrupy quality is discreet in this mix, lending a juicy profile to the woody, amber base notes. This is a greener, fresher fig that carries cinnamon and incense spice notes to the heart. The floral notes add sweetness that seem to hover and linger throughout the entire experience. If Ouverture were a song, it would be sung in a contralto voice which is velvety, soulful and comforting. On a totally different subject, I would like to applaud Scentbox for excellent customer service throughout my subscription and for the terrific selections and top quality decants I receive.

Loving this, it instantly reminded me of another one of my fave fragrances, called sugar leather! It’s strong and soft at the same time as confusing as that sounds and the cinnamon is done very nicely I find this one pretty addicting

Extremely strong to start, not exactly my favorite type of smell either, once it wears off for about an hour it gets better

I’m a newbie to scents and trying to discover my preferences. I turned to my teen daughter and her friend for help rating this scent. They said they could immediately smell it when I walked into the room (just 1 spray on my arm) and the scent makes them feel safe around me as a mom. The scent is very unique and the cinnamon is soft and not too spicy but my daughter says the scent doesn’t match my vibrant 40 years young personality. It wears well as a signature everyday scent for work but not for going out with friends or date night. I would wear it to bed because it’s comforting and I could wear it while out running errands in the fall weather. I live in a tropical environment it’s too rich for this heat and humidity.

absolutely intoxicating. You can detect each note individually, but the harmonized blend is beautifully tied together. I LOVE the cinnamon note, its not over-the-top cinnamon, its like someone whispered 'cinnamon' while you're biting into a fig in a room full of oranges and roses. So long lasting, I applied this in the late afternoon when my package arrived, and could still smell it on me the next morning - over 12 hours later.

Beautiful beast mode fragrance. I agree with previous comment that it is in the same scent family as Black Orchid. This fragrance starts dark, with cinnamon, smoke and amber and dries down to a sweet tropical/forest fruit cocktail. It is extremely refined and high quality, very interesting and very unique. I love it. Lasting power is awesome. Definitely not for the faint of heart or those looking for hyper feminine white florals.

HUGE fragrance. Only spray once! Reminds me of Tom Ford Black Orchid. It's very bold, different and spicy. Sexy. Green. Dries to a creamy finish but still fills the room. I would have to be in a very exotic mood to wear this or clubbing.
