Gah - yet another sweet, powdery perfume. Ugh. The scent is very, very light and didn't last long at all. I gave this 2 stars because while sweet and powdery, it's not overly sweet. Other than that, it smells like every other candied, powdery sweep perfume. Thankfully it didn't last long at all.

An ok vanilla, very mature

This is definitely a cozy scent. Can be night or day. Reading in a library, sitting by a fire, walking as you watch the fallen autumn leaves, or playing pool at a local tavern. Warm, spicy, woody, and sweet. I would spray this on my cardigan and chill with a hot coffee or rum.

Its alright, i was expecting something different

I was hoping for something I would love as much as the Baccarat 540 since it was apart of the line up; however, this fell very short. I recently tried Gentle Fluidity Gold, and while I didn’t dislike it, I didn’t love it either. The initial spray was quite strong, with an overwhelming mix of vanilla and spice that felt a bit too heavy for my preference. However, the dry down was more subtle, though still leaning heavily on the sweet and musky side, which isn't really my style. This is the first fragrance I've ever considered returning.

I didn't love this one, too sweet for me and kind of headachey however I gave it to a friend and she loved it and it smelled lovely on her.

I wanted to see what all the hype was about, and I’m not impressed. So I think the issue is how it works with my skin ph, on my skin it is too sweet (heavy on the junipero berry and sweet vanilla), and the dry down reminds me of YSL Black Opium. I like YSL BO but for the price difference, I wouldn’t spend the money on a full bottle of this fragrance, when I can just buy a less expensive alternative. It can see why other ppl might like it though, if it works with their skin and they enjoy a very sweet dry down.

It’s pretty, dainty and feminine flowing scent. Not powerful projection but subtlety alluring. Not very long lasting as I was chasing the scent after a while and I was the one who had it on. Nice scent.

Signature fragrance worthy! The juniper and nutmeg give this amber vanilla fragrance a vaguely holiday vibe that I really dig, but it’s not so Christmas-y that I wouldn’t wear it year round. It smells very posh yet cozy which is my vibe. It has great lasting power too, as I can still smell it not just on my clothes but on my skin after 12 hours. My favorite among the MFK fragrances I’ve tried and possibly even my favorite out of all of the fragrances I’ve ever gotten in my 3 years of being a Scent box subscriber. I don’t often upgrade to full bottles, but I think I will for this one!

Not for me. I think if you are looking for this to be a ‘vanilla’ fragrance you may be disappointed. If you enjoy spicy/bold fragrances, or the kind of spicy vanilla of scents like Kayali 28 is then you like this. If you are looking for a pretty, soft, creamy vanilla then this is definitely not it! I think it should be advertised as a juniper fragrance vs vanilla.

This is okay for me. In the dry down I definitely notice some floweryness to it. But I think it’s the juniper that makes it a tad screechy for me. It’s not over powering nor does it project far. The vanilla and Amber do it for me though. It really helps balance it out.

First of all, this is not unisex but female smell. Second, it is reminiscent of someone who wears the same (or similar) perfume that I couldn't hate more. In fact, I wanted to buy her a new perfume if she wasn't my friend's gf. I directly applied it without knowing because it's MFK. But, this is the second cologne I'm exchanging ever. That's how bad it is.

Didn’t live up to the hype for me. Little to no vanilla. for me it had a cheap, headache inducing sweetness. Overall seemed one note and lacked the depth of other perfumes at similar price points.

This is my favorite MFK fragrance. I get the most compliments on it. As a gourmand an oriental fragrance lover, this one is sweet, light, but still exotic and grown.

Soft ambery vanilla. I love that the juniper berries and coriander add some spice. I just wish the performance was a little stronger. It doesn’t project that far after an hour and it’s hard to detect at all after 4-5hrs. I’d bathe myself in it if it wasn’t so expensive.

This is a beautiful fragrance—it projects but isn't loud. It feels warm and soft to wear and has decent longevity. I would say this is a truly unisex fragrance. Ultimately, it didn't feel like "me" so I moved it to my husband's fragrance tray and it smells wonderful on him.

This is a beautiful scent after it dries down. I’m not a huge fan of the opening but I love the dry down on me. It gives a sweet, feminine, almost honey like scent that is really sexy and not too overpowering.

I was pretty lukewarm about this scent initially, but after a few wears it grew on me …a lot! It is simple but very classy. The bright fuzzy juniper makes it interesting and it really creates a significant scent bubble. The vanilla is really apparent in the drydown where it shines. I wore this on special occasions and received compliments from people that don’t like fragrance. It’s is underrated and low key but if you give it a chance …a stunner. It’s one of those perfumes that when you catch a whiff of it around you …it is truly beautiful! Well blended and warm and classic.

I was so excited to get this. I have a co-worker who also loves fragrance, as brought it to work with me to test it out. We were so disappointed! She and I could only smell something that smelled like pencil shavings/hamster cage. It was horrendous. Everyone in my office HATED it. I’m almost convinced I was given the wrong scent because I can’t find anything in the notes that would make it smell that way? It was awful and it lasted forever. Not the best experience for my first scentbox.

My favorite fall scent

The juniper berry is what makes this fragrance truly unisex. The longevity varies based on where you spray. On my un-lotioned skin, it lasts maybe 2 hours( 3 sprays with Vaseline/lotion it would last longer). If sprayed on the proper clothing material (cotton, wool) it might last 6 hours (3 sprays) It’s evoking walking in winter where the junipers are. It seems best for winter, but I might wear this during late summer/early fall.

There's a rose type note in this fragrance that does not appeal to me, I like the dry down for this but it was nothing particularly special to me and I had to layer with PDM oriana to get the level of femininity I prefer in my fragrances. I did use up my sample but I would not purchase a full bottle, I much prefer grand soir from this house.

I don't understand the hype, and not just about GFG, but ALL of MFK's frags that I've tried (yes... the infamous BR 540, too). They smell synthetic, have an intimate sillage, and poor longevity for me. This one, Gentle Fluidity Gold, smells like a plasticky, drug store lotion with a hint of vanilla musk. The coriander used has very strong floral notes to it. Add the floral smell to the sweetness of amber and vanilla, it's almost candy-like (reminiscent to smelling someone who ate a grape jolly rancher 30 minutes prior). Once the top/heart notes wear off, there's nothing left but a hint of vanilla on top of a screechy musk. Not sexy, luxurious, or even rich, in my book. I wish I could say that I've smelled someone this fragrance was good on, but it is always just a screechy musk to me.

This is my hands down FAVORITE fragrance right now. I haven’t heard anyone profile GFG like this, but for me it almost gives me warm, honeysuckle with the “earthy/plant” green smell removed, but mixed with that sweet, musky vanilla. I think someone described it as “intoxicating” and I must agree. It makes me swoon and think all romantic thoughts so this is the perfect day/night date . I feel so feminine in this fragrance. Can’t wait to purchase the full bottle and any similar smells to this.

Very similar to Mancera- Roses Vanille, which is also a great fragrance. This one is much smoother.

This is the first scent of this particular DNA I smelled. I have since smelled others in its family (intense cafe, roses vanille, rose gourmand, etc) but this one is still the best in my opinion. It is a heady, intoxicating rose with a snuggly vanilla core. It feels glamorous and mysterious and wealthy. I have tried it for daytime and it feels overbearing, but it would make a wonderful scent for a big event special occasion, maybe even a mature wedding.

At first I felt like it had this random old lady smell. But once it sat for a minute it sweetens up and turns into this amazing WHAT ARE YOU WEARING type of smell. The warmness makes it very feminine, definitely mature but very sweet. Love it.

I gasped when I smelled it. Just gorgeous. It's not as strong as BR 540, so the longevity is a lacking if you're comparing the two. It will really shine in the cooler weather.

It’s so far my favorite fragrance from Scent Box! I wore a few spritz before a date with my guy and the day after he asked for me to wear it again. He said it was “intoxicating”! He mentioned the fragrance lingered in his car after I left. Definitely reordering this! Highly recommended for date nights!

Simple, subtle, sexy, anytime scent

This reminds me so much of MFK’s Grand Soir but more complex and interesting! Highly recommend for anyone who likes amber fragrances. While they both have juniper, I don’t smell many similarities with MFK’s Gentle Fluidity Silver.

I have been on tear recently trying all the fragrances I could get my hands on. If it’s been on TikTok or an article has been written about it I have tried it. Gentle fluidity Gold is the first scent to take my breathe away. Warm vanilla and a little spicy. This is sexy in an understated way. Don’t relegate this gem to nighttime only. It can truly be worn anytime day or night. Unisex leaning slightly feminine but wearable for anyone. Most perfumes don’t last more than 4-5 hours on me but GFG lasted 10 hours.

This was just an ok fragrance for me, something about it smells really synthetic. It’s sweet and vanillic but overpowering. It was a beast scent on me though and lasted far longer than I wanted it too, all day.

At first I wasn’t sure, it was nice but as time went on I absolutely learned to love it. Very similar to a couple of fragrances. If you like vanilla with a touch of BR scent thrown in, I think you will like this. If you’re not into vanilla scents, then don’t bother.

I hate it. It smells exactly like Gucci Guilty Pour Femme on me which comes through as wet metal with vanilla on top.

Warm, sweet vanilla. I'm absolutely in love.

I adore the sweet milky vanilla vibe of this. Like the name says, it’s “gentle,” but it does project within a 3 foot bubble for a few hours before staying a skin scent for at least 8.

There is something about this fragrance that lands it in the the Kirke/Instant Crush territory. For some people this makes it a five star but for me it is virtually unwearable. Not that it smells bad, I just can’t stand to wear it. It bothers me for some reason and I would bet there is a chemical component that just doesn’t agree with me.

Intoxicating in the best way!

Wanted to love this, but wanted to exchange it more. Nauseatingly sweet and one spray is overpowering. There is nothing gentle about this one. However, if you like the scent, it does have great longevity and sillage. A little goes a very long way.
