Definitely bold and fairly unique. Described as unisex but leans heavily male IMO. Reminds me of PDM Haltane.

Smells like old lady

Too old fashioned smelling. It lasts long and has good projection but I feel like an old man wearing it.

This is my favorite scent I’ve received from ScentBox so far. I love the woody notes, the spice, and the patchouli. It softens as I wear it. Unfortunately, the longevity is lacking for me personally. A few hours down the road and it’s barely noticeable.

I enjoy this fragrance. It is musky and very slight sweetness to me but mostly musky and woody. I like this fragrance on its own and also to mellow out the sweetness of my sweeter perfumes. It’s a great unisex scent.

Gotta say I love a good oud fragrance and this one is going on my top 5 list. I enjoy the smoky scent and the hint of tobacco. The combination slightly reminds me of TF Tobacco Vanille. I sprayed this last night and could still smell it the next morning. Good cool season scent

Too masculine

One of my top 5 from scentbox. Such a fan, folks could smell it across my campsite at the renaissance faire. Masculine but sexy for a woman to wear.

Not my favorite, went masculine on me in a not so good way.

This is not unisex & leans masculine. My boyfriend immediately told me to wash it off because it smelled like a ‘dude on a yacht’. I didn’t get any complexity or pick up notes like the below reviewers, it was heavily aquatic and, unfortunately, that’s my least favorite scent family. I left 3 stars because it has a decent throw and longevity, but it was returned as soon as it was opened.

The best way to describe the smell is: A hippy's bedroom after lighting a dozen incense sticks. Yes, its smoky, but not very complex in my opinion. Everything is lost in the smoke. I don't find much musk & ZERO lavender. I might just have the wrong nose for the scent... or it just genuinely smells like gas station incense sticks.

Beautiful scent. I’d heard incredible things about it so I figured I’d give it a try. It’s pretty unisex, a tad masculine leaning but a woman could stun in this. It’s spicy, smoky, woody, a bit sweet. Projection wise, I can’t tell if this is beast mode or not… I think I might go nose blind to it a bit. Overall- beautiful cold weather scent that will get you noticed & complimented.

I love this oud fragrance. I'm someone who doesn't like the sweet scent, which is why I prefer it over Haltane from Parfums de Marly. The scent is overpowering so don't overspray.

Wife loved it, will defiantly get a full bottle. Very musky/smoky smell i would consider it a Winter fragrance.

ULTIMATE PANTY DROPPER

This fragrance is MAGNIFICENT! The number of compliments I got were over the top (and I believe it was because I paired it with my Creed Aventus lotion). The initial spray is kind of loud, so you don't need too much, but the cool down is subtle and lays down like a baby for a nap. Definitely will be purchasing a big bottle to add to the repertoire of favorites and must haves.

This fragrance has a a clean spicy fragrance that changes floral lavender on me. Then on the dry down it is more of a tobacco to earth sent. I was surprised at the stronger lavender notes.

At FIRST.. I thought it was too old lady/ masculine for me but after a few minutes of wearing it… oh my goodness it’s wonderful! I received so many compliments on it… I was actually told to leave the room by my coworker because she said I smelt to good lol!!

I was surprised when I tried it on and I knew it smelled familiar…. My girlfriend MFK Baccarat Rouge 540 ! Goes absolutely wonderful together . I wouldn’t say it’s much of a masculine scent though. More like unisex but definitely worth it.

Ultra masculine in the opening until the mid notes. I love how spicy this is and it's dark. Once it gets to the mid, then sweetness starts to show, but it's only a little sweet. Not drastically sweet. This is powerful and lasts forever. This stayed on my skin for over 24 hours. This also does have the saffron that's similar to BR540, but different where it's dirtier.

I received this scent as part of my subscription and absolutely loved it! In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I immediately purchased a full-size bottle.

Not a fan of the opening. It reminds me of TF Oud Wood but more medicinal. Similar opening to Side Affect. Might be an Initio thing. Middle and base notes are where it shines. Not as good as Royal Oud IMO but still good

I really like this, although not for myself. I intended to use it myself but found it too heavy for myself but love it on my husband.

Something about this scent did not sit well with me at all. It vaguely reminded me of manure and once my brain picked that up, I couldn’t not smell it. I even tried it on my BF’s skin, and still thought it had a foul stink to it. I was bummed as the reviews and write up had me really excited to try this. I returned it immediately.

Everyone said “Amazing!” I find it a bit course and out of balance. An Oud that smells unspirited, perhaps too modified in efforts to make it “modern.” I was surprised at the aroma given it’s reputation.

This is a safe entry into the niche fragrance space along with others like PDM Layton. It opens with saffron (I can see the comparison to BR540) but it isn't cloying. This is my first primarily oud-based fragrance and I could best describe it as a resinous sap smell. Pleasant, but not mind blowing in this presentation. The drydown is resinous and dark woods. This would make a decent signature scent for fall, winter and spring. Easy to wear in any occasion. Sillage is close on my skin but it does last 8+ hours. With all the hype and high cost of saffron and oud, I expected so much more. Overall, spicy woods are the main accords here. There are pleasant and blended well. If I "needed" a full bottle I may reach for the lattafa variant instead.

Love at 1st sniff. Monster projection. 4 sprays will fill up a room. Longevity is amazing. Worked a 9 hour shift and I was still getting compliments after work. A week later I was ironing the shirt i last used this on for work and the smell was still there. Incredible. Very powerful. Favorite Oud.

The gender-fluid dream. A strong musk that's tough enough to last the entire day, but soft enough to not give you a headache. Sultry, but appropriate for a work day. Absolutely loved this scent.

Pretty good! I do like the smell and after wearing it quite a few times I would wear it again. For me it more of a nighttime scent that's alluring, pleasant and interesting! This isn't something that I would rebuy over and over again (hence only the 4 stars), but something that I might reach for every once in a while when I am feeling a little different. Definitely recommend trying it if youve been interested and maybe youll love it. Its got a woody, aromatic, sweet thing going on that isn't really in your face or harsh. It really is pleasant. Would I buy a full bottle, probably not, but if someone gave me one I wouldnt be mad.

It’s definitely more of a manlier scent. Very hard to layer over feminine lotions or oils because this scent is definitely overpowering. I would recommend it for a guy friend. But unless you spray on a more feminine perfume, it’s smells more like a cologne on its own.

Oud has such a unique scent that is hard to put in words. This has a great blend of woody/musky that radiates for a long period of time. I could see how this scent could be offensive to some, but intoxicating to others.

I love Initio’s line of fragrances. This is a must have!

At first I thought this would be to masculine for me. It is smoky and rich, and by the end of the first day wearing it I was hooked. It makes me feel energized and confident. Strongly considering a bottle.
