Parfums de Marly
When we first heard that Parfums de Marly had a new version of their cult favorite Layton, we admit we were at a bit of a loss. How could they possibly improve on the fruity, spicy, gloriously lively luxuriousness of this ode to the splendor of Versailles. Now that we have it in our hands, we're pleased to announce this is no mere flanker. Instead, perhaps inspired by Marie Antoinette's extensive remodeling of the palace and grounds in the 18th century, Marly has rebuilt Layton from the ground up, delivering a companion piece to the fresh, sporty original that surrounds the signature blend of fruits and spices with deep, animalic woods and resins for a darkly seductive experience.
In Layton Exclusif, a heavy dose of civet hums through the rich floral heart, delivering a new layer of sensuality. And the already opulent vanilla and woods base is further enhanced, with resinous amber and an alluringly powerful coffee note to invigorate the senses and heighten the passion. Does Layton Exclusif take the place of our beloved Layton. It's not meant to. Instead, we think of the two as the ultimate pair Layton, a gentleman's perfect match for a day of royal festivities, and Layton Exclusif, a dangerously seductive secret weapon when day turns to evening.
Layton Exclusif by Parfums de Marly is a Amber fragrance for men. Layton Exclusif was launched in 2017. The nose behind this fragrance is Hamid Merati Kashani.

Wish I would of ordered this in the fall time, decently a great. I thought the OG Layton was good, but this is amazing, the depth of the fragrance go's so deep. I will be stowing this one away for the fall time.
Excellent smell. Has hints of diva washing detergent for real. My wife loves it. Lots of compliments from others also.
super strong scents. Barely smell the orange smell. The flower smell give me headache. Do not recommend people who like fresh scents. I would run away from people who is wearing this in a party.
All I can say is wow this fragrance is AMAZING!!!!
Absolutely love this scent! Very versatile and smells amazing! Wish it lasted a little longer, but def had some staying power for a bit.
Layton but with the Civet component, some may not find it pleasant.
Worse version of layton
Not a bad scent! The top notes were overpowering for me.
My Favorite fragrance in my collection I’m so addicted to this scent 10/10 masterpiece!
Layton is better imo.
Pleasantly surprised on how good it was
This is not for young men. I myself am 20 years old and this scent just does not work on me yet. It might never but it is a nice smelling fragrance, although very strong. I would not recommend this since it doesnt fit me and i cant see its potential.
It's very mature and sexy for a True Alpha Male looking to create distinction from other males in his pack! Women gravitate around you when you have this on. They know you're a distinctive male with a distinctive pheromone scent!
I bought it expecting more because I was a big fan of the original layton. It's not for me. it's a bit mature for my liking. Beast mode performance, but too sophisticated for a younger person like me.
An absolute signature scent. Top Notes come in very strong and can easily fill a smaller room, however, this fades into the most subtle vanilla, creamy, and anamalic smell I have ever smelt in a cologne. The anamalic note to me is a barnyard-like type scent with a sharp edge to it but in the best way imaginable (if metal had a smell, this would be the edge in this scent). Towards the end and throughout the base, smooth Ambers remain throughout the 8-10 hour duration of this fragrance.
Great smell first initial spray is strong but once it starts to settle down you get a sense of the notes and the dry down is amazing
divine - even better than Interlude.
This one is also very good smells great . I put on 5 different spots and it’s last a long time
Amazing smell love the pepper and cream tones I get
A more mature version of Layton. Much more dense and refined. Not one that is going to be as mass appealing as Layton, but certain much more masculine.
Didn’t like this much at all. I love Layton (5 stars), but this just wasn’t my jam.
Never have a smelled something so offensive, i am genuinley concerned for whoever thinks a note from a cats anus (civet) would be appropriate to spray on yourself.
4.5 but I can’t choose that. Powdery at first but calms down to a very nice fresh blue fragrance.
Although it's not my type of scent, I personally think this is more interesting than the original Layton, which to me is just okay. This one is more dark and mysterious, with an edge to it. To my nose, the way the civet and coffee are done here make this a lot more alluring and captivating, where the original is pleasant and perfectly good but to me a bit more forgettable. I still don't love this one overall because the way the patchouli and coffee combination is done reminds me of the way it manifests in A*MEN by Mugler, and I really dislike that combination. (This is not a dupe of that to be clear! Just that particular accord is similar to how it's used there.) But I think the quality here and darker spin on the original Layton are well done.
Amazing fragrance
very nice and sexy fragrance. for cold months for sure and last all day
Incredible. I’m 50 yrs old and have been into fragrance since my early teens, polo green being my first purchase with paper route money. This is possibly the best men’s fragrance I’ve ever experienced - top 3 no question.
Very beautiful high quality perfume. Much better than regular Layton. Dense, deep and much serious just like a muture elder brother of Layton. Suitable for winter time for an experienced confident Men.
Very unique fragrance. Strong with the first spray. Not for the average fragrance user. Would recommend for the colder months
No was expected
It seems like a Perfumer got drunk and started mixing a bunch of materials and then passed out. When they finally wake up and smell the formula there like,Wow this smells amazing... what I get from this fragrance is a dark woody, musky spicy floral scent. This fragrance is definitely not for the casual scent person. I would go easy on the sprays with this one to. This can definitely fill up a room. I think this would work best in the Spring and Fall.
Smooth and dark.
