Nishane
Move over, because there's a new masculine in town, and guys, you're going to love this one. With tart, sparkling citrus draped over a backbone crisp with forest woods, oakmoss, and white jasmine, Hacivat recalls the oakmoss laden glory of woody chypres like Pour Monsieur that once populated men's perfumery. Despite the solidly classical lines of the scent, Hacivat feels entirely modern, with a juicy pineapple note aerating the damp mosses and woods, and a touch of blackcurrant leaf keeping the tone fresh and outdoorsy.
Don't be afraid of that pineapple note. Rich and natural smelling rather than sporty or cheap, the pineapple note is so well done here that it redeems the reputation of the much maligned fruit. Hacivat wears on the skin as lightly as a white linen shirt in summer. It is discreet, professional, and sparklingly clean, but possessed of just enough bitter moss and woods for gravitas. A rare, classically built woody chypre with a contemporary edge, Hacivat just smells really wonderful and will make other people think you smell great too. Bookmark this scent if you love a modern classic.

Nishane Hacivat is a fantastic fragrance with a bright, juicy pineapple-like opening that feels both fresh and sophisticated. The blend of citrus, woody, and slightly smoky notes creates an elegant and versatile scent that works for almost any occasion. However, in my experience, the performance falls short—I get about four hours before it starts to fade significantly. For the price, I expected better longevity. Still, the scent itself is top-notch, making it a great choice if you don’t mind reapplying.
Very nice fragrance the opening is a bit bitter for my taste that is the biggest difference compared to Elysium or Aventus or emperor by PVF but it’s in that family over all, as it starts to dry it’s very nice you get that dna then and it gets nicer as its keeps drying. Definitely a solid recommendation for anyone who enjoys that family of fragrances.
This was too spicy and masculine leaning for me. I gave it an extra start because, for better or worse, it lasted all day. I couldn’t wait to get home and drop my clothes in the washer, that hour commute each way was torture. I think it would be great as an evening spray in the fall or winter for a very confident and strong woman. They could pull it off.
The people saying this is an Aventus clone are wrong, and the ppl saying it's better than Aventus need a check-up from the neck up. There are one or two notes that are just offensive to my nose - probably the cedarwood. I was SO disappointed after all the hype and I agree with none of it. Xerjoff's Naxos is superior.
Hubby Loves it.....a little goes a long way
Fresh, Fruity, pretty good performance.
I hated the initial spray. I thought it was too spicy for my taste. However, the dry down softened the fragrance and it wasn't a bad fragrance at all. It won't be my go to fragrance....well, maybe during the Fall and Winter months, we'll see.
So Ill start off my saying it’s not terrible. I don’t mind masculine leaning fragrances but this one is a little too masculine for me. The opening is nice; very citrusy with a little woods behind. I was like ooh okay, not to shabby. But the dry down. Its smells like citrus cleaner and some kind of like gasoline or motor oil. It truly does. If you know that musk that commodity milk has, it’s really sharp, almost like a gasoline type smell, that’s exactly what this has. On a man, I think it would be absolutely fine. On a woman it could work, but I personally think it needs to be layered with something else more feminine.
Love it! Great masculine freshie.
This is probably one of the most unique and masculine fragrances I’ve encountered. The opening is earthy, citrusy, but not in a traditional way. The dry down develops into a power fragrance that commands attention.
The hype surrounding Hacivat is well deserved. I knew immediately after the initial spray that I will be purchasing a full size of this. Everything about Hacivat is perfect imo
This is such an aggressively mediocre scent. Very pineapple and oakmoss forward - not necessarily a bad combination, but there's something sharp and almost detergent-like about them together that is both confusing and messy. My husband said this reminded him of "savory laundry soap" and honestly, after wearing this for a week, I agree with his description. Not a bad scent, but it absolutely did not live up to the hype for me. The sillage and staying power are great though.
Just a beautiful fragrance. Photorealistic pineapple. Smeels like the butt of a very ripe, uncut pineapple. Exquisite.
Very good fragrance
Beautiful pineapple and creamy citrus over a mossy base. Classic but modern, casual yet sophisticated. Love it.
I love this scent so much. It's really, really intense, so a little goes a long way and lasts forever. But the scent is everything holiday and winter and comforting to me. It's pretty masculine in terms of traditional scent profiles but I'm a woman and feel great wearing it.
Fantastic fresh complex citrus opening drying down to deep deliciousness. Amazing, can’t wait to pair with Hundred Silent Ways … this is in my top 5 of my day time scents.
The way this scent EVOLVES is magic. The initial spray is harsh but after a couple seconds it starts changing. First impression was earthy and spicy, and as it dries you get the citrus. It's truly universal, this could be worn in any season, night or day, masculine or feminine. One of my new favs
A very mature fragrance that grabs attention. Would say it is a typical niche, which means it’s unique and may not be for everyone.
A love of mine. Nishane does no wrong.
This fragrance took me by surprise of how good it was. Had to re smell it about 5 times before I said, wow. This is a universal fragrance for all seasons and will get you a lot of compliments.
I seen this fragrance on YouTube videos and always wondered why it came highly recommended. Well now I know, it's simply amazing. It's a Chameleon, I love when a scent changes. It hits you with one and displays another. Well done...
A little too spicy for me.
Smells inexpensive. Doesn’t smell like a high quality product.
very fruity and fresh
Unfortunately, this was a scrubber for me. Not only did I feel it leaned to masculine for my comfort, but the moss pulled heavy and kind of stinky on me. The initial spray is not terrible as you get a blast of citrus, and I liked the prominent pineapple at first. But minutes later it changes to a musky, damp and not very good smell on my skin. Almost as if the pineapple was rancid, sitting in the sun and getting moldy. Probably my skin chemistry but I had to scrub off except it would not come off (this one sticks to your skin). I gave to my hubby to try and he did not like it either on him. Unfortunately as much as I wanted to like this one this did not work out.
Too Spicy for my liking. This is a masculine scent in my opinion
I wasn't a big fan of this, it was over powering but a little too peppery for my taste. My boyfriend however did like it actually.
I can see some similarities with Aventus, but it certainly isn't redundant. It's a fairly strong and dry fragrance that is fairly easy to wear otherwise. It's pretty good.
Rompe cuellos ????????????
Not a fan. Strong pine sol smell that never seems to go away.
My wife hated it. Extremely strong scent. A little goes a looooong way. Too heavy on the patchouli. My wife says it smells like old man "Deadhead" scent.
Burst of briight citrus in the opening Woody and patchouli dry down
Great scent. Has a creed aventus vibe.
Love it.
Really love this fragrance. Very fresh and long lasting. Will end up purchasing a full bottle. Very strong and very fresh. Good strength for the colder months and fresh enough for the warmer months.
I liked this but this is definitely a masculine leaning perfume. It's possible for a woman to wear as a unisex scent. It's very light fruit at the dry down but mostly it's a strong musk. Will last you easily a whole day
I see the appeal, but to my nose the fruits are too sharp and when the oakmoss presents itself all wrapped in wood it is soured by the lingering fruits.
The opening is super sour - like warheads sour. Then it does down into a blue cheese-esque mold due to the oakmoss. Not for me but I see why people like it
It’s a head turner! Every time my husband wears this my head follows. It’s sexy and masculine. The silage is phenomenal and the longevity is insane. Definitely buying him a full bottle asap. Ladys you’ll love this in your man!
Phenomenal frag. Very fresh and deep. Minor similarities to Aventus. An awesome dry down with a hint of citrus and deep oak moss notes.
I don't think it is accurate to describe this as unisex, it smells distinctly masculine. Woodsy pineapple, a good summer take on woody fragrance, but not the most wearable for a lady in my opinion.
Smelled so good on me and performed so well in the heat. It's masculine leaning, but not so much that I feel weird wearing it. If I could take away a half a star, I would, because I kept having to reapply to get the pineapple scent back, but other than that, this was great.
The opening is nice and smells very similar to Aventus without birch and with a touch of Oakmoss. But the drydown leaves apt to be desired being very earthy and very mossy. If the opening stuck around longer I would have loved it but not a big fan.
