Frapin Parfums
Named for the year the Frapin family established itself in the Cognac region of France and continues to make cognac to this day, 1270 was created by Beatrice Cointreau, great granddaughter of Pierre Frapin. Together with Frapin's Cellar Master, she sought to create a noble fragrance full of the scents surrounding the creation of cognac. 1270 is dry, rich, velvety and smooth.
The flowers of the once proud Folle Blanche a grape nearly extinct from the region, the vineyard grass, the wine warehouse, the rich smell of damp earth in the cellars, the wood of new casks, the loamy smell of humus where the ancestral cognacs are stored all these notes can be detected in 1270. Gorgeous is putting it mildly. This scent defies flowery prose. A true masterpiece.
1270 by Frapin is a Amber Spicy fragrance for women and men. 1270 was launched in 2010. The nose behind this fragrance is Sidonie Lancesseur.

I don't even remember selecting this one. Not my favorite at all. This one is not for me.
This is really nice. Has a vintage smell to it without being fussy.
This one is not for me. I get something medicinal and bitter in it and i just can't tolerate it - kind of like over ripe fruits soaked in honey that have gone bitter/sour from the sun. It is strange because when reading the notes they all sound amazing and like something I would enjoy - but I just don't like it. It is sweet and a tad bit boozy with floral and woods. On my skin quite long lasting but projection is about 1-2 hrs then sits closer to the skin. I would consider this a winter scent as it would become cloying in the heat.
I can’t figure out what note is so bad to me, but I hate it. It’s being exchanged.
Terrible. Smells like rich, stuffy old lady perfume. Comes on too strong and then has sour and sharp after notes.
Good comfortable cold weather smoky scent. If you like MM Jazz Club this might be worth a test. Not great staying power though, sadly
This scent doesn't appeal to me at all.
Love this. Sweet and fruity, but complex enough that it doesn’t smell too young or too cheap. There’s a boozy, resinous quality that gives the fragrance a nice depth and maturity, without making it smell too old. Moderate longevity and sillage.
I liked the sent, complex and subtle but it just didn't last long enough.
Excellent subtle vanilla, with a hint of smokiness, booziness, and slight vintage vibe.
Yep dig it. Buying it
Terribly weak scent. One of those I need to spray a lot and then bury my nose where I sprayed it to even pick up the scent. What I did get wasn’t terribly interesting Especially given how the notes seemed to be ones I usually like.
I think this is a nice sent for men opposed to women. I really did like the notes combo but I don’t get that sent from this product.
I love this fragrance, but I wish it had more staying power. This scent is one I'm likely to buy.
This comes on pretty strong for me, but softens as you wear it and it reminds me a lot more of cognac after the first hour of wear.
