Jubilation XXV Man fragrance isn't concerned with the bustle of everyday life. It is created for meditation and reflection, and is the polar opposite to any sense of day to day work life. It knows no deadlines, urgent orders or working at home. Its owner will be calm even on his own anniversary, and Monday morning for him is no different from Sunday morning. But it's far from the thundering timpani of the national anthem on an official holiday.

The last rays of the setting sun in the clouds, the sweetness of a rose, slightly accentuated by coriander. A sweet warm rose quickly hides behind the clouds of incense, the main theme being resinous cedar and patchouli, with warm oriental resins, opopanax, myrrh and incense. Despite these fragrant gifts of the Magi, Jubilation XXV Man does not lead us to the temple.

Top notes filled with orange, coriander, labdanum, tarragon, olibanum and blackberry. Heart of guaiac wood, cinnamon, laurel, honey, orchid, rose, cloves and celery seeds. Base filled with opoponax, patchouli, myrrh, cedar, musk, oak moss, ambergris, oud and immortelle.

It smells like a honey bourbon/ scotch. Very unique to everything else I’ve tried. I really like it. Probably not something you can where everyday though. Still makes me want to explore other amouage fragrances because this one is so interesting and different.

Complex, incencey, and well made but it skews a little old. It's a heavy dark fragrance - not very sweet or fresh. I actually like it but it doesn't have genetic mass appeal.

I get strong hits of incense and chocolate from this. It's the most unique of the fragrances I've tried so far, and it really just isn't for me. Despite the characteristics listed on Scentbox, it feels like a more mature fragrance than youthful one. It also doesn't strike me as an everyday fragrance. On the bright side (if you like it), it seems to last awhile. I've had my husband and a couple friends give it a whiff and all agreed that it feels too heavy on the incense note.
