I love John Varvatos fragrances and this one did not disappoint

Amazing. Wife says it’s one of the best things she’s ever smelled and I have to agree. Smells like a warm Mediterranean breeze. Citrusy and herbal in the best way. Projection isn’t crazy loud but it isn’t meant to be. Long lasting on my skin. Really classy and refined scent.

This is a really good smell. Very light kind of feminine Something I would wear for work or during the day, but not something I would wear at night.

Smells very nice kinda like a smell a hotel would have, very clean and citrusy

Top notes smell like straight alcohol then settles into a baby powder/green scent that didn’t go. Thankfully doesn’t last to long and poor projection.

Smells fresh and refreshing

Very fresh, very green. Great for hot weather if you want to feel fresh outside. Longevity is pretty average for a freshie. Radiates moderately, which is plenty for a summer fragrance.

This was one of my absolute favorites. I always like to try anything Varvatos, but this was a surprise. Very herbaceous, sort of citrus and extremely clean. I like it more and more.

Smells excellent BUT, doesn’t last long….

Delicious fragrance but moderate to low performance. But will live with having to reapply since I love it so much.

This just doesn't have much staying power on my skin. My wife can't even smell it snuggled up to me like most of my colognes.

It smells like wood pepper and baby powder I don't know if I'll purchase again.

Smells like my wife's cleaning spray. It does mellow out, but not for me.

I'd smelled this before and thought it was pretty nice. I don't know if it's been reformulated but it smells very basic. It used to be more airy and smooth. Maybe I got a bad sample. Citrus, generic, summer scent.

Not going to say it's bad, just not for me. A little feminine. Kind of soapy with some citrus.

This one smells real good

I did not care for this scent. I felt like this was more of a woman’s perfume than a man’s cologne. It didn’t smell bad, it just wasn’t my type of scent. I will admit that it mellowed out after about an hour and it wasn’t quite so perfumey smelling then, but it still wasn’t spectacular.

very nice,for summer.

I absolutely love this scent and it smells amazing. It's very spicy and fresh/fruity smelling - it is well balanced and unique smelling. Performance... we shouldn't talk about performance. But it is the only reason for knocking 2 stars off, I just can't get this fragrance to last on me. :(

Amazing

The scent is very clean and pleasing. The opening is a bright burst of fresh citrus,but the dry down is the most enjoyable for me...It's a masculine floral woody master piece that definitely demands compliments when your out and about.

An airy, light scent, almost has a moist feminine touch.

This stuff is amazing. I love the opening, nice and citrusy - but slightly piercing in a good way. The opening is great, but the dry down is where this fragrance shines the most! Not much of a winter scent, but hell, I will keep this in the office as it has been pleasant for me - lots of compliments.

Great combination of fresh cool blue but a lingering scent of black pepper underneath. Very captivating.

Smoothe Citrus

The perfect touch! Smells so fresh and clean. Perfect for during the day. A Brunch, breakfast or lunch or a few hours at a terrace. You can smell the citrus for sure and it has a touch of pepper in it. You only need a couple of sprays! Four sprays might be overdoing it. I received this in a sample form when I purchased something from Varvatos. I liked it so much that I used the sample for myself first. Purchasing the true size was a tad to much money for my liking. Glad I could find it here and got one for my husband. Smells the best when fresh out of the shower, with a crisp clean cotton/linen shirt. I love combinations of freshly washed linen/cotton shirts with a nice cologne or perfume.

At the first spray I hated it and thought it smelled like a barbershop scent. When it opened up it smelled amazing, but lasted all of 15 mins. Wouldn’t buy a bottle.

Fantastic fragrance. Very light and inviting. I’ve always been told good scent is to be discovered not announced and this accomplishes. Would highly recommend.

It smells great, but it dissipates quickly. The smell doesn't linger for long.

Smells really soapy to me, kinda reminded me of neroli portofino but less floral.

I love this fragrance it's just so good!!!!!!

Great smell. I'm a big fan of JV, so I knew it would be good. Funny thing, I recently got a decant of this, Creed MI, and Creed SMW. Looking for a good summer scent. I prefer JV AP over the 2 Creeds. So does my wife. Also, JV AP lasted much longer than those other 2 on my skin.

I like that the smell isn’t too pungent and that is isn’t a strictly masc scent.

I'm disappointed in this fragrance. Not as good as my previous monthly choice. However, I will stick with it and proceed with caution with other John Varvatos selections.

Love it. Went to Ulta beauty the next day and got myself the only bottle available. I showed it to my parents and it reminded them of Mexico. I showed to my brother in law over the weekend and he also said it reminded him of something from Mexico, this without mentioning anything about the fragrance. The smell is unique, can’t believe I waited so long to try this one.

Smells gewd

Was great, just a little short lasting on skin (1 to 2 hours). Stays more like 8-10 on clothes. Insanely unique smell though, cant think of anything better for a Hawaiian shirt.

It's fresh but it smelled more green to me than anything, which I like. It immediately reminded me of Banana Republic 78 Vintage Green, but nowhere near as vibrant. I know this is hyped due to limited availability but I would not overspend for a full bottle of Artisan Pure.

I would say this has a strong lime smell with a fresh clean soap smell. Over all I really love the smell and great long lasting scent.
