To me this is basically a better AF Fierce that lasts longer and doesn't get that stale smell. Slightly more citrus on the top too. Great for any occasion, I would wear this in the fall to an apple orchid or a concert. Not offensive, straightforward and very good even 6-7 hours later.

I got several compliments on this cologne, I might buy a full bottle.

Smells just like Abercombie and Fitch. The only difference is that the fragrance is longer lasting.

It was a really nice scent however, it was nothing special. I prefer the Layton scent

Smells fantastic.

It's sporty and light without that overbearing classic "blue" scent. Opens with a bright powerful citrus, mellows to a more desirable spicy citrus. It's powerful out of the gate but fades, I would say lasts about 4 hours or so. I enjoy it for something more fun and exciting. It's not a favorite of mine I'm more into darker sweeter notes, but this is a nice light scent to add to a collection especially for someone who is into the sporty scents but is sick of the generic "blue".

Absolutely amazing. The balance between the musk and the citrus is wonderful.

This is a nice clean fresh scent that I think would be perfect for spring/summer day in the office or out running errands.

I was expecting a bit more, but still a great scent. It's the perfect scent to wear for just about any occasion. Not too strong, not too light.

I love the citrusy notes and that it’s not overpowering. I do wish that it lasted longer, but I always have that problem with citrusy scents.

This is a very easy scent to wear. I don't know why it smells so familiar but I can't get enough of it. I haven't gotten very many compliments while wearing it which is strange but nonetheless I really enjoy wearing this scent. I especially love the sweetness that radiates once it dries down.

I just did not care for the opening of this cologne at all.

Percival Smells Really Good! very easily described as Abercrombies Fierce just better quality and longer lasting. Smells manly and has good performance.

Overall a good smelling scent. It’s scent DNA is something that is very familiar to me . So it didn’t stand out. The price point of a regular bottle is flat out too much for this particular scent. You’re better off with mint blanc legend for 40 bucks. However it does smell good.

This was my first niche fragrance and there is an undeniable difference in quality. Percival smells designer(ish) but definitely a tier above. Very fresh and clean but not like a shower gel. Compliment magnet and wide ranging mass appeal, but you won't smell like the masses. Moderate/slightly above average projection but it's strength is it's sillage. Left an impressive scent trail that turned many heads. 100% recommend.

Clean fresh scent with a nice longevity. I dont disagree with some callouts that this is a simple scent especially from this house. However it doesn't take away from the fact that they simply did it right. Great depth, reach, and nice longevity of over 6 hours; still there after a 30 min workout session.

It’s not bad, but it won’t blow you away either. Had high hopes for this as PDM make some of the best niche frags out there. But this one is a little boring. Again, not bad, just not memorable. Almost has a Green Irish Tweed mixed with lavender and a very interesting metallic note; of which I’m assuming comes from the bergamot.

Awesome. Wife loves it too. Just wish it wasn’t like $200 a bottle.

A niche version of Dior Sauvage. I would recommend saving your money and getting Sauvage EDP.

it smells good didn’t last as long as i thought it would coming from pdm it also didn’t project as much as i thought, nothing special probably the worst pdm out of the bunch

It’s a very nice and fresh fragrance, nothing ground breaking by any means. Don’t get me wrong I absolutely love this, just don’t be expecting anything outside the normal of a fresh fragrance. It opens with a beautiful citrus, then slowly going into a softer scent, then finally drying down into a fresh musky woody fragrance. Great for summer, great freshie for everyday wear. Don’t know if the price tag on a bottle justifies a purchase as I have many fragrances that go in this same direction. But I don’t regret getting a decant at all!

I'd give 4.5 stars if I could. Really great scent, would be happy to receive it as a gift, not sure that I would spend my own money on it (pricey). Very fresh, reasonably complex, but not quite amazing. Longevity is somewhat disappointing. Not bad, just not as good as other Marlys.

Great summer scent. Not groundbreaking but on par with the best of fresh fragrances in my humble opinion. I wish this lasted longer though.

Not the most unique smell from the house but is a pleasing smell too most people.

It has a fresh opening of bergamot. Very quickly, the bergamot recedes and you start to pick up on an orange smell with light musk. I don't get any fir smell as described in the note breakdown. It sits close to my skin. Very nice for the office. Inoffensive. It has a designer feel at a niche perfume cost. It's overall very nice, but i feel that there are cheaper options, if you're looking to buy a bottle, for the scent profile; therefore 4 stars. Good quality ingredients.

I really enjoy this scent! To me it’s very close to the original Fierce but with more depth. Very versatile scent that you could use in any occasion. My only complaint is that it doesn’t last that long and projection is pretty close to the skin. I do prefer this over Layton though.

Signature scent

This is my favorite PDM fragrance. For the record PDM has a lot of really good scents. You can wear this scent all year round because that citrus and musk really blend well together. This fragrance will get you noticed, but it won't be overpowering. You can wear it to work or on a date, that is how versatile it is. It settles really well and lasts a decent amount of time.

Doesn't last long but I do love it.

Smells like 85% sauvage. And that's played out. I was hoping someone unique as I heard every one rave about it and the price also shows it should be unforgettable. But I finished the whole sample and never got 1 complement. Versace man or my 212 every time I wear them I get notice from all ages and genders.

At first I thought it was kinda basic, but when I wore it more, I realized how much I loved this scent. So good, so easy to wear and easy to love!

Fresh and versatile

Not a fan of this at all. It smells like so many designer colognes and therefore offers nothing new or original. Smells a lot like a JV or an Azzaro scent. I definitely would never purchase a full bottle of this and don't even know if I can even finish this sample.

Good scent..just reminds me when i first started buying cologne of thise citrus-y scents i used to get. Good longevity.

Quintessential blue fragrance done with great quality, strong musk notes with orange and wood

Obviously a well crafted fragrance, very high quality. Longevity and projection are very good for me unlike some others. It is very safe for a niche fragrance. This would be a good bridge from designer to niche, it will not offend.

Don’t get me wrong it smells good and all, however it doesn’t have a very long staying power, unless you bathe yourself in it which at that point you aren’t using it properly and it gives you a headache in my opinion. I would give it a 3.5 out of five stars, it smells good but the price for is $310 dollars and it doesn’t last very long. Definitely worth a try though in my opinion

Very pleasant and safe scent, it’s nothing unique like Herod and Layton but it definitely will get you complimented. I think this is best suited to wear in warm to cooler months.

This smells like if you mix Axe body spray with the Abercrombie & Fitch store scent, add a hint of sweat and regret, and spritz it on a 45+ chauvinist male who is going through a midlife crisis and has delusions of grandeur. For a fragrance whose original full bottle price is $310, this scent is a choice. This fragrance in my opinion is directed more towards older men (40ish plus) who spend their lives at an office. Definitely something I've smelt before and not unique. I like smelling different and this is too common for me. Not to mention that it aged me 50 years.

The reviews ive seen on youtube say it is a safe scent and more mass appealing. This is true, it smells good but not for me. I believe other Parfums De Marly scents are a better option especially for the price of a full bottle. A co-worker said it smells like Axe Phoenix but without the aerosol smell. So, i must agree, it smells like the cologne version of that Axe scent. Once i smelled it i knew it was familiar and after he said that i can agree. Not a fan of Axe by any means, im not in middle school so this is a pass for me. If you are younger less than 23 than its a good scent but for a grown man 25+ i would recommend looking at the other fragrances from this house. Overall, good scent,clean,safe but more for the youth.

Very fresh and woody circa the 1990's. Overall very good but the sillage and longevity were lacking on me.

Really pleasant scent. I enjoyed it a lot, from initial spray to the dry down. but not the longevity I was expecting, My wife wasn't too impressed. I dug the fragrance.
