I like it a lot, it’s a soft and sophisticated floral. But it bothers my allergies. Not the end of the world, I already take allergy meds, but if I use the perfume before I’ve had them my nose goes nuts.

I love this perfume. It is so beautiful. Smells like the notes described. And love that is not overpowering but definitely lasts throughout the day.

Unfortunately, I can't give it a great review because I could hardly smell anything. What little whiff of scent I could smell was pleasant. I might even like it if I could smell it.

I enjoy this scent. Floral and sweet. I thought the longevity of it was good as well. At least 5 hours or so.

I’ve been using Armani Code for years but it’s getting harder to find, so I’m looking for a new perfume. I tried this one since it had good reviews. I’m usually drawn to spicy, musk scents, and with musk listed I was looking forward to trying it. Right away….ewwww! So strong on the rose. I did see reviews that said it was better as time went on, but after an hour I couldn’t smell it at all. I tried spraying a few sprays on my shirt and again, nothing after an hour. Good thing bc it just reminds me of an old lady smell. I’ll be 50 yrs old in 2 weeks so I’m not ready for the nursing home smell yet lol

I’m sure this smells good for someone just not me, all I can smell is rose, which makes this too floral for me.

This has always been my favorite perfume but I will say it smelt different then I am use to I was a little disappointed because I think they mixed it up with another Lancôme perfume. I still liked it but not as much as my original one.

This perfume is decent. It smells good, but it smells very elderly. It smells like an old lady perfume. It’s a combination of floral, aquatic notes and doesn’t really captivate a room. I can barely notice I’m wearing it unless I’m directly smelling my wrists

I LOVE Idole! It is very feminine and chic. It lasts a long time and I keep going back for more. I started looking at common floral notes on all my favorite fragrances, and all of them seem to have Jasmine, and this one doesn't disappoint.

I personally love this scent. I discovered it from a customer at my workplace, I remember she was the best smelling person in the room, so I had to ask was she was wearing. This was the first scent I get from Scentbox and I’m extremely happy with it. I’ve got so many compliments. My coworkers say I smell expensive and sophisticated and I couldn’t be any happier. I would describe the scent as a fresh floral, and I do think it smells sophisticated.

For some reason, and I’m convinced it’s the jasmine note, this has such a strong scent that makes me hate wearing it. There’s a baby powder note from that jasmine being artificial that just gives me a head ache. I like Idole aura better but it’s still not my favorite. I prefer clean and sweet notes.

THIS IS ONE OF MY NEW FAVORITES! This one and black opium and marc jacobs intense--all worth the premium membership!!! IDOLE kind of starts off mature floral smelling..but as the top notes fade it becomes this fuity floral fun scent! i have got so many compliments on it! the smell lingers through the air and has a far reach...it kinda makes a scent bubble around you if that makes sense lol I definitely smell the floral scent, slight musky smell and the pear-fruity smell mixes so well with it all! WOULD DEFINITELY BUY AGAIN and the whole bottle!! so worth it!! HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS!

I have worn Flowerbomb Nectar & La Vie Est Belle for years. I received a sample of this with a Christmas gift & immediately fell in love. his actually lasts on me. I catch a whiff of it after work in my hair & it's just as pretty as when I put it on at 6:30 in the morning. Not as strong initially as the La Vie Est Belle which is fine by me. Just a really sexy feminine scent. My new favorite for sure

It was a little too powdery for my taste

I tried the scent as well as two of my daughters. Its was a bit sweet with floral and power on one daughter. Sophisticated on another daughter. On me it was very floral and powder smelling but smelled classy. HOWEVER, the scent after 1 hour was barely noticeable to any one and you have to understand my self and my daughters have very good and sensitive sense of smell.

It starts out too intense for me. It settles down about 2 hours later but I am still not a fan. It lasts all day so good for those of you who enjoy this fragrence!

Starts out very floral/ old lady. When I first sprayed it, I thought I was going to hate it. The dry down is very pleasant though. It smells lush and pretty. Just gotta get through the first 10 mins.

i like this scent... i like it a lot.. but beware its very easy to go heavy with it. Lighter is better with this scent. I did 2 sprays with this scent and just loved it. So... I decided to go for third. Wrong move.... It smelled like heavy laundry soap. it did dry and settle down after about 90 minutes it was ok. I strongly suggest go with the 2 sprays and then it smells great. But for those 90 I did debate if I needed another shower. For me, lighter is better. It lasts a long time so those 2 sprays in the morning will get you through whole day. Since its a strong but beautiful scent, I will for now on spray my wrists only. As i move my hands others can smell it but I will too. Hint, I use a very nuetral mild scented lotion when I get out of the shower and spray my perfume before I dress. This seems to really help the scent last, many days I can still lightly smell my perfume the next morning.

The first impression that I get from this perfume is it smells woody. I was surprised, I expected more fresh citrus in the opening. It's a nice perfume, but not one that I would reach for often.

Received a sample from Lancôme and my daughter loved it so I used my points to purchase. The smell is sweet an long lasting. It’s delicate and perfect for daytime.

This one had to grow on me. At first, I didn’t like it. I thought it smelled a hint too mature. I gave it another chance and ended up loving it! It’s more of a spring scent! It is a subtle scent that could be a signature scent. I’ll get a big bottle for sure. It’s just not a scent that blows my mind.

Idole is really lovely for when I'm feeling like something lighter. It's quite strong, but fresh and fun at the same time. Absolutely love the juicy pear note. I'm in my late twenties and don't find it to be too mature for me. Considering buying a full bottle.

Before Idole I did not wear perfume, just a light body spray to keep from feeling like I was being choked out by strong fragrance lol. This is my beginner perfume so please take in my review on that level. I'm still learning what I love. I absolutely love Idole with its sweet and floral scent, it gets better during the dry down. It is not complicated as others have stated, doesn't mess with my sinuses, and makes me feel very beautiful. My husband loves it and I have it in rotation for date nights.

Best one I bought love this it smells so good its sweet with a little tart, Fruity / youthful playful smell I love it everyone compliments my perfume. The only downside on the full size bottle is it does not stand up you need to keep the box it comes in. but the smell is so good it does not matter.

Not a bad scent, but not a special one either. I’m gonna be honest, I picked this sample for the month only because Zendaya was the face of it, but I don’t really imagine her wearing this. It’s too… business(y)? Definitely not a bold scent. Smells like a generic floral perfume, with a hint of musk, in my opinion. Thankfully, I didn’t blind buy a full bottle, as that was my original plan, before discovering ScentBox.

Gormandy and floral its not an overwhelming strong scent its soft. Their is also a bergamont scent which makes it smell somewhat fresh. I can see my mom wearing this.... id say mid 30s -late 40s it has a musky scent aswell which gives you mature vibes.

This is a really nice scent if you like clean florals. Think of taking a shower in winter with powdery floral soap, then putting on a white sweater before you go outside in the cold. It's definitely a strong, mature scent, but its also really fancy.

I’m in between about how I feel about this fragrance. It’s not the first one I reach for when choosing a scent. It’s does smell like a more mature classy scent…..but not like old church lady.

I do love this fragrance! It's a rather voluptuous rose scent, and yet, it's definitely lightened & brightened by some of the other fresher notes (pear, etc.) for an end result that's pretty & easy-going and not all all overbearing, heavy or old-fashioned (as rose scents can sometimes be). Frankly, I've worn this in hot July weather and it was still not too "heavy" - so I think it's a pretty flexible fragrance as well. I've also received several unsolicited compliments, but from people who were standing right next to me, so they weren't reacting to an overly loud sillage, for instance. Two people even took down the name and wanted to buy it (which is always a good sign that the compliment is sincere). As a final note, no matter how much I prep my skin (exfoliating, moisturizing, etc.), I really do have trouble finding scents (even EDPs) that last on my skin for a full day. Idole is still lingering nicely on my skin 8+ hours later... a definite factor that has placed it on my "buy" list.

Light, bright, fruity, and floral — there's nothing objectionable in Idole, but there's nothing to really write home about, either. Like most Lancome fragrances, you're looking at limited sillage but good longevity, strong and full rose and vanilla notes, and an inoffensive scent good for most occasions and locales, including the office. It's not groundbreaking, but it doesn't have to be.

When the woman at the perfume counter suggested this fragrance I had some reservations. Lancome is not a house that I have ever found myself drawn to. To me their offerings tend to appeal to older women, and I am not quite ready to label myself "mature". However I am very glad that I gave this a chance. The rose stands out, but not in an overpowering way. Mixed with florals and vanilla its softened significantly. I also believe that there is citrus somewhere in the composition as the fragrance has a sparkling quality to it. It is very fresh and modern floral but done in a way that is very appealing. The sillage is much better than you would expect from a floral of this type. And it lasts well into the day.

I like this scent but not by itself. I pair it with Marc Jacobs Daisy. In my opinion, pairing the two seems to help the scent last longer and brings out the best in both scents. I've received compliments from boyfriend when pairing the two scents. It has a sweet, light floral smell but don't think I'd wear this by itself so this would need to be paired for me to enjoy it. Otherwise, the scent can be a bit too mature for my taste.

i guess maybe it's just me(??) but i really dislike this odor. it's strong, obnoxious & overly sweet and makes me mildly nauseous when i wear it BUT, bear in mind, that is my humble opinion.

This is a clean floral. Not too sweet just right for everyday wear!

It is strong and elderly at first, but it dries down to a softer slightly sweet rose petal smell. It kinda grows on you. It is ok- the dry down smell saves it, if you like the smell of roses or slightly sweet flowers. After an hour, it sits close to the skin and no will really smell it unless they are really close to you.

Smells very nice (white floral scent) but it is a little on the mature side...just a little imo...not very long lasting on me maybe 2-4 hours...its a light smelling scent so it's great for spring/summer...I wear it just out and about not a special smelling scent not attention grabbing either

The more I wear it, the more I like it. I get slightly more floral than fruity, but crisp yet warm. I find it intriguing, unique and feminine, but not overtly floral as many tend to be. And it lasts well too.

My favorite rich lady perfume. This smells sexy and like money! Not too strong...just right. Lasts all day but not in a bad way. I spray two pumps in the air and walk through it and I smell amazing. I get compliments and it gives me confidence too.

The longevity of this perfume was great and I could smell it all day, but it gave me old lady vibes and although others seem to love it, it just didn't smell good on me. Honestly I was was expecting a little bit more from this fragrance - but I will give it 4 stars for unique smell that stays long enough. Probably wont buy it again especially, no no for a big bottle. But as of right now I enjoy its smell during last days of 2020. Will recommend it to ladies who are 25-35 years old,

Really a beautiful fragrance ? My all time Holy Grail perfumes are Coco Madamoiselle & Flowerbomb, so while for me, Idole isn't something that will ever take the place of the ones that have my heart forever, it is very lovely & a very well done & classy perfume. I am extremely picky & I liked Idole right away, which for me, says a lot. I really liked the dry down the best & it was wonderful smelling it on my clothes the next day. Long lasting, warm, fresh & fruity. A beautiful combination of all the right notes that create a truly heavenly scent. ?

Exciting & feminine

This is my go to fragrance.. I ordered the sample from Lancome originally and was going to buy the full size but I wanted to try it here first. It's definitely a strong floral scent, and it lasts forever.. but it changes from person to person. On my mother it smells medicinal, on me it's heavy on the rose tones, and on my friend you smell more vanilla tones. Overall, I love it.

Not the typical scent I'd go for but I like it! Pretty smell.

I was a bit disappointed in this fragrance because it is too much rose for me. Smells like something a 20 year old would wear on date night. Not a fragrance for a professional person.

This truly is a classic rose type of perfume. There's really no other way to describe it. It's not so rosy though that it becomes offensive. This one seems to be pretty well balanced. It's a pretty feminine type of scent. I can imagine a lot of women loving this. I'm not personally very much into floral fragrances for myself but I can definitely say this one is attractive.

It is a very nice smell but it has an older scent to me.

I really enjoy this. I think after the first spray, it can be too strong. But once it hits the skin and longer, the smell matured and becomes more pleasant. It’s very floral and would be perfect for Spring.

Love love love this scent,it does come on a lil strong but the dry down is AMAZING... I literally sprayed 2 sprays before going into work “at a restaurant” I could still smell it 8 hrs later on my skin! So glad I picked this scent,something totally different than my normal and I love it!!

I like this one, it is classy and sophisticated without being too mature but I have others I like much more. I didn't last long and the projection is ok but for the right price I would buy it, otherwise it is one I can live without.

Literally cannot get enough. I'm so picky on perfume, got this as a sample and ordered right away. It smells so sophisticated, yummy and sexy. I'm 24- it definitely doesn't smell old. My friends and husband love it too.

I’m obsessed with Idole by Lancôme. I literally can’t get enough of it. I have a hard time finding perfumes that last on me but this one does! Sometimes I can still smell it the next morning. It smells so fresh and clean and expensive.Its just so classy and special to me. It immediately lifts my mood when I apply it.I don’t know of any other perfumes that smell similar.It I would recommend this product to anyone and everyone ??????????

I love other Lancôme frangrances and this one was recommended to me based on the ones I like the best so I was disappointed. Smells older and too floral/citrus maybe? I like warm fragrances.

I have to comment that I normally don't like dominant rose fragrances but Iv'e heard that this is a subtle rose sweet sent so I wanted to try it out. The initial spray I hate, it's extremely in your face strong rose type, but once it tries down after a few minutes it's so delicate sweet (but not syrupy) with a touch of rose. This is a simple, not complicated fragrance. Great for work or somewhere where you don't want to offend anyone with your perfume.
