Love it. Wish I could afford an entire bottle!
I don't know if I got a bad batch or what? I had the same issue when I ordered Armani Si from Scentbox...it didn't smell like Si at all. This Jardin Sur La Lagune doesn't smell like much of anything and minimal lasting power...which is strange for an Hermes scent. Usually the Hermes quality is high?
Not for me. Wasn't the fragrance described and smelled off. Disappointing.
I like it, but it doesn’t last long. Still, it smells clean and never burned my nose like some perfumes can.
Quite unisex, very aquatic and leans a bit more feminine in my opinion, but that isnt a negative. Husband didnt prefer it, so we handed it over to our teen daughter who liked it.
I did not like the smell. Very strong smell.
This is the most unisex perfume I have tried so far. It honestly reminds me of a salty, less sweet Florabotanica. I get that same mossy aroma for both and they both perform better in humid environments. Sur la lagune. The sea notes stand out to me the most. The flowers are there, but very toned down. The dry down becomes more calm and feminine. I imagine myself sunbathing on a boat in the middle of the ocean while wearing this.
Wish the scent would last long. First spray smells strong at first but fades fast.
I really love this scent! It smells so fresh and clean yet still classy. My only wish is that is last longer.
I like this one a lot. It’s got a nice green grassy element along with the salt spray. It does come on strong at first, but it mellows out to something really unusual and lovely. A keeper!
The first smell when I sprayed was awful like smelling my great aunt. When it settled it was better, yet still not something that my nose enjoyed, more like baby powder with a hint of musk. It seemed very light smelling and lasted for about 3-4 hrs before disappearing completely. You can tell it was a well made perfume, just not made for me.
Not as sweet as I usually like, but smells nice none the less!
Smells like an old lady
Great fragrance
The scent when first sprayed smells like lilacs but after time it just smells like baby wipes on me. Not a fan.
Beautiful, fresh, elegant. Sophisticated
Smells like old lady
Amazing perfume. This is a very beautiful scent that you could wear every day. It smells so fresh and it is perfect for the summertime
This is my new favorite perfume. This sent is exotic, feminine, and soft. I LOVE IT!
Woodsy, mysterious and sexy. Not too musk for spring, not too floral.
I love this fragrance and have been wearing it during the day for work. I’ve actually sprayed it on a tester in Sephora before and did not care for it, but decided to take a chance. It smells rich and like spring. Leads with bold white florals and dries down to be a bit woody and a little salty.
Wonderful and fresh. Soft enough for any time of day. Would buy again.
I love it. Its smells like a rich woman Makes me feel luxurious. I got 3 compliments at work the first day I wore it.
i love this scent
Very flowery
This is so not a unisex smell this smell is definitely for a women very heavy in floral notes. Reminds me of something my mother in law would wear. Gave it away to my wife
A little too flowery and powdery scented for my taste in a men's fragrance. Initial notes remind me a bit of baby powder. Rather fragrant and sweet. The woodsy notes, which I quite enjoyed, come after but are not strong enough to keep my interest. Still smelt like quality product and carried throughout the day well. I'm a fan of Hermes and will continue to try their products. This one just wasn't for me.
Love it so many compliments...guess it’s just based on your body chemistry. One of my favorites.
Big No! Even after it dried, not for me. To me it smelled like a combination of rotten food with a touch of old metal.
Not for me. It was too overwhelming
I recently received my Hermes Un Jardin Sur La Lagune. Hermes touts it as a mysterious hidden garden of nostalgia however, I tried it on yesterday & I can’t even remember what it smelled like. It’s a very faint floral that doesn’t last. I think I’ll pass on this one.
Smells like pond water.
Very lite, soft, floral scent. Hard to smell since its so soft. Not really sure how I feel about it. I don't hate it but I'm not in love. Although its unisex its definitely more on the fem side.
I am a big fan of Hermes! I don't typically like floral scents but I really like this one. It's a keeper for sure!
Absolutely LOVE this scent. You can definitely smell the magnolia and it has a sea breezey undertone. I do think its more feminine that unisex and I took a poll at work and only 1 of 10 males would wear it. My only complaint is like most fresher scents, it does not last as long as I would like.
This one didn't work for me, it started out soft and then had a strong smell similar rubbing alcohol. Returing for something different.
For me this was a 50/50 love/hate feeling when I first sprayed it. Not one I would wear alone, but I paired it with another one I got and really like it layered.
This is one of my favorite scents. Frankly, smells horrible at first but once it dries it is amazing. Perfect balance of masculine and feminine. It's sweet but sexy.
I love this scent. It’s soft and very long lasting. I will be purchasing the bigger bottle.
I wish I could give 4.5 but this smell is amazing! I love how refined yet profound it smells on me....As well as the looks when I tell people what it is. Highly recommend.
I am horribly disappointed. Hermes is one of my favorite perfume brands, because most I can appreciate as elegant and well-composed, even when they don't work on my skin. There is a natural-ness that can be found in some quality, among all of my favorites. However, this smells boldly synthetic, as if a brilliant perfumer wanted to design a more high end-smelling replica of some loud common masculine deodorant spray. I hate to be so crude in my description, since I respect the label, I have owned more perfumes by Hermes than any other brand.i have trouble describing the smell cause I don't detect any flower, and the wood smell is indistinct as well, unlike any kind of wood I have smelled. Has the composure of a Hermes, it just doesn't smell good. If I want to wear a beautiful woody perfume from this line, I choose Eau de Merveilles. For the most beautiful florals, Jour d'Hermes and Hiris...The Eau de Colognes are mostly great, particularly Rhubarb Écarlate, Gentiane Blanche and Pamplemousse Rose...The Eau Delicate version of 24 Faubourg is wonderful, even if I can't deal with the original...and Un Jardin en Mediterranée is one of my favorites as well, so this line is always worth trying.
While trying this perfume with a sampler, I fell in love with it. The clincher that got me to buy a bottle was the reaction of those around me. Often you wear perfume that no one smells or comments on, but not this one. I work mostly with men and consistently I was told how nice I smelled. This is NOT a sickly, young sweet scent that seems to be flooding the market lately. It IS Exotic, different and delicious. You smell like you traveled to Paris to get a rare perfume. It also lasts a good while, so you don't need to keep layering.
