This is one of my favorites. The Yves Saint Laurent fragrances are always a big hit with me. To me it's a very light and clean scent.

Had high expectations but was a let down. I ordered it just because of its good reviews. It has a bit sweet and powdery smell, nothing special.

Loved the scent just wish there was more of it. Literally only got a couple of sprays out of it before realizing that it was empty. The box it came in didn't smell of the fragrance so i don't know how it leaked.

Just alright. Very powdery smell, reminiscent of a funeral parlor without the AC turned on. One positive is that it was not very long lasting, so it isn't around too long.

I received this as my monthly choice and went out the next day and bought a full size bottle. I love it that much. This opens with sparkly bergamot, like most blue or aquatic fragrances, but it starts to mellow out after just a couple minutes into a delightful balance of woody, citrusy, musky. It's the first cologne I've received from scentbox that made me get a full size counterpart. It lasts for about 4 hours before settling down to a skin scent. It does have great projection in those few hours, though. I have been receiving compliments regularly on the scent. This makes a brilliant addition to my lineup. Other colognes I frequently wear and enjoy are Hugo by Hugo Boss, Acqua di Gio in edt and edp, and Armani Code in edt and edp.

Great smelling scent! It just simply gets compliments, and I'm not a person who seeks compliments. Yet, everyone who comes near tells me that they like it. I fell in love with the EDP version and this one is no different. I will be buying the full bottle even tho I have the full bottle EDP. It's slightly better for the daytime and hot days.

Worth it

It’s a pretty good scent from YSL… I was looking for a good spring scent, I’m waiting for another YSL to arrive to see how it compares. I can only give this 4 stars only on account of its strength it simply doesn’t last and with a small months supply that doesn’t last long. So I’m sure readers can understand my reasoning. Nonetheless it’s a good scent.

Love these scents love that they are moderate on their longevity

I was worried about the aldehyde being too prominent because that gives fragrances that powdery smell I only like on women. But no, it doesn't which is good. The musk and the sweetness mix very well, the sweetness is very quiet and subtle. Definitely a good, clean, masculine fragrance I was hoping for. I would buy it again. I wouldn't say it smells super expensive or like a huge luxury fragrance though so it doesn't have that IT factor that makes someone have to ask what the heck is on my body. But any women embracing you will appreciate it over something tacky or some shitty old spice deodorant smell.

This is popular for a reason. It's great! It smells fresh and clean, isn't overpowering, but also stands out from "generic" fragrance smell. I love this one for everyday use, whether I'm working, traveling, or just running errands. I would say it maybe doesn't have quite the longevity I'd prefer but it's still fine.

This cologne smells very,very,very,very good.It's soft, sutal & smooth however still maintaining it's masculinity without bein' overbearing, like myself so it compliments me well.It has that scent that can be worn all year round,to any occasion whether it be day or night.

3 stars because MAINLY it doesn't last long at ALL. It's subtle. But if that's what you're going for then it's perfect. My preference is A stronger smell that lasts all day. But the smell is outstanding when you first put it on. It's just gone really quickly.

I really liked this scent. I came upon it in a magazine insert and thought it smelled better there than when I received the actual eau de toilette in bottle form, bizarre as that sounds. But the simple fact is this is a wonderful scent, perfect for daytime wear in almost any setting.

This fragrance is very light and floral smelling. This ones going to collect dust.

I tried a sample of this stuff a while back and wanted a larger bottle to get a better experience. It's a really nice scent that makes me think of dressing up for a date night out on the town since it has that sexy romantic essence about it. Granted it doesn't last very long on me, but it's great for certain occasions. I wonder if the recent EDP version makes up for the lack of staying power though.

This is nothing groundbreaking in terms of scent profile but it’s just a good quality, blue fragrance. It feels like a more modern take on the blue fragrance genre, leaving the overdose of ambroxan in the past. Definitely a thumbs up from me. It puts me in a good mood

Smells light and clean. Seems to last a fair amount of time for an EDT, but isn’t overwhelming if you put several sprays on. It reminds me a little bit of a less sporty Prada Luna Rossa.

It has some atypical smells i got bored of. But its definitely not a bad fragrance. Doesn't seem to project or last long and smells sort of like other aqua fragrances. I'm not a buff on all this but some for sure will like this.

My husband got this scent and it smells AHHHMAZING! One of my favorite scents he has used thus far. Very similar to your Armani scents which are my favorite on him as well. Smells fantastic! It's very balanced and versatile for many different occasions. The only downside is its lack of longevity. I feel like I need to spray a lil more every couple hours to maintain the scent. Otherwise, its pretty dang good. Excited to try the other YSL's.

To be honest this is is something very light and basic smell to it. Smells like something any other guy would be wearing. Only lasted about 1-2 hours. Its a pass for me.

I could honestly compare this scent to Dior’s Sauvage and although it wont ever beat Dior, it was close to it. Sporty, fresh, masculine. Didn’t stay long though.

Yes you will get compliments, yes you will turn heads as you walk by, yes you will get inquiries as to what is that fragrance you are wearing......but I believe it’s for the mature men (30’s and 40’s) and once someone smells it trust me they won’t ask “Y”, they will be demanding more please......now! Seriously it’s a great fragrance it’s fresh, it’s clean, and it seems to last. Once I smelled it I was already thinking to buy a bottle. Plus I just love seeing people’s reaction when I answer their question “what do you have on?” with just simply “Y”. Anyways, it’s wonderful fragrance but you can witness that yourself once you buy a bottle. Calling all 30’s and 40’s men, you can thank me later, a nice spring and summer fragrance.

Perfect scent

Very fresh and clean. Highly recommend for someones first fragrance or great for the office. I would give this 5 stars but I do prefer the Eau de Parfum to this, which last longer and has a stronger scent but not over powering.

My wife loves it (that's all that matters). Similar to Invictus by Paco Rabonne. More on the sweet side, great scent, pretty long lasting. It's a great everyday scent and not too overpowering.

This is my FAVORITE fragrance of 2019 hands down. I know its slightly polarising as a few people more people than on average either love or hate it. I usually think the complement factor aspect of fragrances is a load of BS but I have had a few coworkers and friends ask me what I was wearing so they could get it for themselves or their significant others which to me is the ultimate complement and more meaningful than somebody telling me I smell nice. This is a more complex than the average mass appealing fragrance but to me its mostly a masculine and fresh scent with elements of smokey incense, spice, and citrus but what sets it apart for me is the balance of all the notes for instance despite having citrus its not bright and fruity, in spite of having that smokey incense its not an oriental fragrance and you can sense the spice without burning your nostrils. The bottom line is 'Y' isn't making any bold statements while at the same time it isn't exactly part of the 'white noise' coming from many of these mass appealing modern fragrances. Interesting fact, I was today years old when I realized 'Y' is named for generation Y which I am a part of being a child of the 80's.

I love this scent! It isn't overwhelming, but it isn't too subtle to go unnoticed when someone comes in close. It is very fresh, and it can be worn in almost any situation that you might find yourself in. It is modern, but not hipstery. One of my favorites, and I will definitely be buying a bottle of this one at some point!

Smells amazing but..... This fragrance smells amazing but the performance is dreadful. It’s opening is super fresh and slightly sweet and you also smell the L’homme DNA present in the background. If it had even just average performance it would be amazing. Lasts maybe 2 hours on skin.
