It's just ok. It's a soft floral with strong vanilla base. It's described as an oriental woody scent but the sandalwood is very subtle. Good inoffensive scent for office or day use but nothing unique or special about it.

Smells very perfume-y? Which is decidedly nondescript, but all of the notes blend together seamlessly to the point where it doesn’t smell like anything but itself, and it smells sweet, extremely feminine, and a bit boring to me! I tend to like photorealistic or layered scents, this smells almost overworked/overproduced to my nose. Lovely, girly, and sweet but not for me!

A nice, elegant scent that has both warmth from the vanilla and some floral notes. It has a pleasant softness to it in a way, it wasn't very overwhelming but I can definitely still smell it on myself. Not my top favorite, but it deserves some recognition.

I don’t know if I’m a fan of the atomizers from Scentbox. Because I purchased thi scent from Sephora and I love it. It smells amazing. But when I received it from Scentbox, I was not a fan.

for me, it starts off very musky and pungent, but the dry-down is divine. it still lingers on the skin after a few hours, and stays on clothes forever. its definitely mature with floral notes.

Heavy, old fashion

Ehh I like it. This is a very feminine scent to me with a warm undertone comparable to my Black Opium spray (although they do not smell alike). This reminds me of when I would get magazines and peel back the perfume scents in the book. A very generic sort of heavier smell. It’s pretty but it doesn’t stand out to me. Definitely leans more mature than youthful.

Clean!! I’ve been looking for a clean fragrance that also stays for a while. I think I found my scent. I tend to like stronger scents, Libre, Gucci Guilty Intense, Opium Black. So I have spring Fall and night. This is different but a definite keeper. The initial spray is nothing like the dry down. It’s on my Xmas list.

Wow. Is all I have to say. I am a server and midshift I put 2 sprays on with in minutes I had at least 20 people ask what I had on because I smelt so good. Had a table full of men make me write it down so they could go get it for their wife's because as they put it very intoxicating. I will say it's a very strong and long lasting and I do absolutely love it.

WOW! Just WOW!! I wasn’t expecting to like this so much, there’s a not here that takes me! Here’s the thing.. a youtuber mentioned this is a wifey material fragrance, he kept saying he didn’t know why or how this makes a wifey material fragrance but he repeated over and over that he loved this and would love this on his woman to keep forever. I was curious, I know everyone’s sense of smell is different but wow this is sexy. The scent is sweet, but not overwhelming, powerful enough to radiate, yet subtle enough to sit well with anyone around, I mean ANYONE. I would say a little to serious for my ways but it’s just right for a special romantic ocasion or even to flirt with your boss in the office ;) I’m kidding.. tho if you do, make sure he’s single!

It’s my favorite so far! Love the sandalwood abs vanilla scent to it. It’s such a warm scent but not too woodsy with the floral undertone.this is the only scent I could see myself buying full-size. Only downside is that it doesn’t last long and I have to put quite a bit on.

I was so eager to try this scent since it’s the “wifey” perfume, like several others have mentioned! Although it does smell really nice, I was totally underwhelmed by this scent. I wish the notes were more pronounced because I KNOW lavender & vanilla smell amazing together — I just don’t pick up on them at all in this perfume. Like I said, it’s still a very pleasant scent, I just don’t think there is anything special or alluring about it. It’s just.. safe.

The smell is very lovely even though I dislike the scent of lavender on it's own. This has enough vanilla and sweetness to make this smell very pretty and soft. So I'd say it's definitely a lavender vanilla with some sugar and hint of powderiness. It would probably get 5 stars if it weren't for the poor longevity. Even after 30 minutes the scent dissipates quite a bit. It's a skin scent starting about then and definitely by the two hour mark.

I find this one to be just okay but that's probably because it really needs to be worn in cooler weather. I had really high expectations from all the reviews I had read and so far out hasn't quite lived up to them. It's not bad at all, just not quite as good as I expected.

This is the first Guerlain fragrance that I am sending back. I've tried all the classics, and even though they may not be my go-to, they all have distinctive character worthy of their own events and seasons. This one came off to my nose as a run-of-the-mill hollow department store, celebrity-branded perfume that straddled the line between cloying and nauseating. I hate to rate Guerlain so poorly, but I'll keep trying the others, including the Rose flanker of this.

This scent is soft, powdery and feminine. I really love it so I purchased a full bottle. Very happy with this one.

I’ve heard perfume reviewers call this the wifey scent, and I totally agree. I would get married in this fragrance and feel like the total package whenever I wear it. I love it so much, and i’ve never smelled it on anyone else.

Smells like a sweet lavender womanly scent. I can’t really lay my hands on the sweet notes and what they could be though, and I don’t smell the vanilla. A tiny bit of very light soft powder scent too. It’s honestly beautiful. I wish it was more intense and lasted longer but the brand also has an intense version so maybe that one does so that’s the only reason I give this 4 stars. Other than that’s it’s in my top 3 favorite parfums for sure. I’ll be getting a bottle soon.

I can really smell the lavender in this perfume. It's a fresh clean floral smell. It lasts about 4 hours on my skin. It doesn't have amazing projection but it's not bad either. I think this is a great spring perfume

I wasn’t too convinced at first when smelling it from the bottle because it smelled way too mature for me. But after applying it, I like it, I smell like a powdery undertone and it kind of throws me off but overall it’s a good scent.

Wow, wow, wow!!! There is a mystery about this scent. At first sniff, I almost rejected it but just wait for it. Within 5 minutes there is an intrigue the draws you in more, within 15 minutes you will be intoxicated and soothed by the lavender and vanilla and after the dry down, every man around you will be in a trance. Your wish is their command! Sexy, sweet, powdery, intoxicating! Definately full bottle worthy!

Mature and velvety reminds me of a really fancy occasion or a holiday party. It smells like high fashion magazines. Makes me feel pretty, one of my favorites from this site.

I still have never received it. The incorrect perfume was sent. I notified you. You quickly & kindly sent me what you thought was the right one, but I received the same wrong one again. I believe someone should be reading the names on the bottom of the bottles & checking them against the name of the perfume on the shipping label before they are boxed & shipped. The other perfumes I received were correct. I do love Scent box, and will continue to subscribe.

Perfection

Mon Guerlain is a beautiful scent for any age. It’s floral, fresh, and feminine. The only reason I knocked it down a star is because it doesn’t last. Maybe a couple hours at the most. I even tried spraying it on some knitwear and it only lasted for about 4, maybe 6, hours and wasn’t very potent. But don’t let the wear time prevent you from getting your nose on this fragrance. It’s hyped for a reason. I couldn’t recommend this fragrance enough.

The only reason I didn’t give this scent 5 stars is because it doesn’t last that long on me maybe 4-5 hours but I love the scent so much when I run out of it I’ll definitely buy the full size. I’ll just have to re apply but I don’t mind or I’ll spray my clothes so it’ll last longer

This fragrance is beautifully blended. I was worried because lavender can be a very potent smell, but I get a smooth hint of lavender that is both refined and relaxing. I've tried a lot of perfumes lately and this one is unique - not a super sweet gourmand or generic fruity-floral - much of what seems to dominate the mainstream selection right now - but fresh lavender vanilla with great woody floral undertones to round it out.

This perfume took very powdery, it reminded me a lot of White Diamonds, but the middle notes of lavender were super interesting! Definitely not something you smell frequently in a perfume and even though I disliked it kept me smelling it over and over. The fragrance lasted forever and I literally couldn't wash it off for two days lol.

It’s a gorgeous, soft and sexy sweet floral. The iris can be overbearing if you spray too much, but overall it’s well blended. I love the sugary notes with the lavender, the combination makes for a very inviting scent. However, this one distinctly reminds me of how the mall smelled in 2006 so I ended up exchanging it because it feels a bit dated to me and not quite enough to be vintage.

So WELL-BALANCED! I get cozy, gourmand, sexy-without-trying-too-hard vibes. I bought MG Bloom of Roses the same month thinking my love of rose would eclipse this gem. WRONG. The citrus in that one overwhelmed the delicious vanilla in the original. If I’m being super picky, I would like to tone down the lavender a smidge and make the dry down less powdery while amping up the creamy vanilla but then... I may not have the right balance... Like when you get all the toppings you’ve ever wanted on your dream pizza but somehow it’s just not that great... Yes, I will accept MG for what it is... SHEER PERFECTION.

Wow!!! This fragrance has far exceeded my expectations. I think it is safe to say that this is the signature scent I have been searching for! I absolutely adore this fragrance & can see myself wearing it all year round & for nearly any occasion. I was starting to think I would never find a scent that perfectly embodies “me” ...and yet Mon Guerlain, here you are! It evens seems to change a bit depending on the weather for me, and in only the most exceptional of ways! I can’t see myself ever getting tired of this perfume, & I will forever recommend it to friends & family. The full bottle isn’t exactly “cheap” by any means, so it’s definitely worth trying out if you have a scentbox subscription! Since the description was pretty short, I looked up on the internet the best perfume in 2020 - this was categorized as “the most sophisticated”. As soon as I put this on, I thought it was very basic and was not strong enough. The only time I smell this fragrance on my skin is when I smell the area directly. This is very light and basic. You will not smell this on your skin - at least I don’t. I am disappointed.

Love this perfume. I was hesitant to get it and more hesitant to try it on. It smelled like an older woman perfume, but I tried it anyways. I have 10 bottles of perfume and this is now one of two favorites. Carolina Herrera Stiletto Liger being my other favorite. My husband goes crazy over both of these! It's very Feminine, sweet, and sexy. I'm 31 years old and new to more sensual perfumes. Usually I wear floral or fruity.

This is a better scent than I thought it would be by just reading the listed notes. It's interesting. It kind of goes back and forth between floral and sweet and something close to black licorice (which I hate). It's hard to put your finger on all of the exact notes. It isn't bad though, I wouldn't necessarily call it good either however. For me it's somewhere in the middle. But again - I find it interesting.

This is one of my most favorite perfumes I've ever tried. It's so beautiful, sweet, delicious, angelic. I literally feel like an angel walking around wearing this. I bought a full size two days into trying my tester. I imagine I'll be using this one forever now.

Beautiful warm vanilla and lavender scent, you can really smell the sandalwood too. It's powdery, sweet, and inviting. It sits closer to the skin, but it's definitely one of my favorites. This would be a good evening scent or even an everyday scent in my opinion. It's soft and feminine but also great in the warm weather. It's not at all cloying in the heat.

What a wonderful scent! Mon Guerlain has been on the top of my list to try and it does not disappoint! At first the vanilla dominates and mellows out to an almost tamarind note. If you work in an office, chances are there are a few women who smell like this. It's not that they're wearing Mon Guerlain, it's that a lot of perfumes smell like this... It is not a terrible smell at all, it’s just nothing special. Spicy lavender and vanilla is the best way to describe.

I love this perfume, it’s in the same class as Black Opium, so if you like that then this is it for you, it’s has a long lasting smell so I don’t have to constantly spray 2 sprays does the job.... I’ve gotten a lot of compliments as i work in the hospital so it’s not that strong that people are like cringing. It has a very soft scent , Can be worn day or night honestly...but please remember everyone’s body chemistry will not blend well with it so it may smell different on different people, just give it a chance you’ll love it!!

It smells so good, so delicate, maybe similar to other guerlain fragances but softer

A sensual spring floral. The EDP (which is what scentbox has here) is a bit darker and sexier than the EDT. So if you think the EDP is at all too mature or "old lady" smelling then you may prefer the EDT. I find the EDP a yummy, sexy, smooth floral, appropriate for spring nights out, and special event days as well. May be strong for daytime or officewear outside of wintertime.

Mon Guerlain definitely deserves 5 stars. I wasn't expecting it to have such a strong scent factor but I'm glad it does. Two sprays and I was set for the rest of my night. (My neighbor's little daughter said I smelled like a cookie!) Sweet and slightly musky... like Candy by Prada only better...

I love this perfume! I always get compliments from random people on how amazing I smell. When I first ventured to try this I received a sample from Sephora and was sceptical because of MON GUERLAIN. They are the makers of Shalimar and though people rave about that fragrance, it is a very established scent, like Channel (which smells horrid), so finding this scent was a bonus. It does the start of strong, like with a ting of alcohol, but that disappears quickly and then starts to slowly swirl into soft vanilla with a hint of spice. It's probably is different for everyone but I feel like a cosy cabin on a cold winter night with a warm vanilla spice lingering all around. I usually hate floral perfumes but the Iris is subtle so you don't smell like an old lady covering up cigarette smoke, you know what I am talking about, Estee Lauder type perfume. This perfume lasts so a little goes a long way and it just melts into your own scent. Try it you won't be disappointed! Now ScentBox needs to get Shalimar, that is the one I would love to try!

This smells exactly like vanilla and lavender to me. The smell is nice, but it smells more like a room scent than a perfume to me. I like it I just don’t love it. I was expecting something a little more complex.

One of my all time favorites. Warm floral vanilla and lavender, with the classic warm Guerlain base, iris and warm woods. I have had plenty of compliments, cozy nights, and pleasant moments of my own sillage, taking my mind off of some random stressors. Optimistically, I think this should stay in production for awhile, it's a perfect balance between young and mature, sweet and sultry, elegant and sexy. This is one of those perfumes that has a sophistication like Shalimar, but less eroticism and classicism, and more approachability.

at first i didnt think i liked it because it is strong at first however once it fades i loved it!!!! i got more compliments on this perfume than any other.

I cannot tell you how much I love this fragrance. I have purchased a large bottle because I love it so much. It's beautiful. I got stopped multiple times because of this fragrance.

To me this has a tobacco scent. The tobacco never dries down. It’s warm & sexy but also somewhat masculine. It’s very different. Not for me.

powdery, not my favorite scent. I thought it may grow on me but I don't think it will. I am just not a fan of the powder scent. After a minute or two the lavender peeks through. I do feel like it's a more classic scent. However it's just not the scent for me.

Smells like an older Vera Wang Princess, more sophisticated. Love it! It last about 3hrs but you only need one spray.

Smelled kind of powdery but also spicy. DEFINITELY a mature and older scent, some people like that but it just wasn’t for me. Also really bold out the the bottle at first spray but doesn’t last on the skin how you’d expect

5 Stars because this strong scent lasts. Like stuck in your clothes, wash it in order to remove the scent kind of strong. The musk and style of this scent doesn't match my youthful spirit, so not for me and my personality.

Strong and soft at the same time. Very very feminine, in my opinion. More spice than I want to wear on a daily basis but very nice for feeling sexy on a special occasion.

It does not last very long. Otherwise I really like the smell. There for I rate it a 4 star.

Ok so I give it 5 stars only because this will last on you ALL DAY and I mean ALL DAY pretty much until you wash your clothes but not to the point it makes you sick. It also smells pretty but it wasn't for me. It's definitely a sexy night time wear.

Very warm, sexy smell. I imagine wearing this on a cool fall day, walking through the woods with the leaves falling and changing color all around you. I put it on at 9am and can still smell it at 6pm. I give this a big thumbs up ????

Sweet but sophisticated. Sexy and warm!

Really beautiful, complex perfume. It opened with vanilla and sandalwood, with a little lavender in the background. As the scent dried down, the floral faded and it took on more of a warm, sugary scent. Almost smelled like vanilla cake on me, in a nice way. It sits very close to the skin. I did two spritzes on my neck and you wouldn't smell it unless you get close. This is close to perfection if you like more mature, sweet florals.

This sample was sent to me a month earlier than expected by mistake. What a sweet mistake that was because I'm in love!!! So much so that I might either get the bottle or another sample. I've gotten so many compliments! It smells amazing & definitely lingers!

I like the fragrance but longevity is about 5 hrs. I prefer Mon Paris than this fragrance but im still keeping it

I was expecting this to smell better It could be because it was in the heat for so long? I noticed the other fragrance I ordered didn’t smell as good as it normally does ??

This is one of the most unique scents ever. My first initial spray on myself, I immediately checked to make sure i was sent the correct perfume.. because i thought it smelled like mens cologne! But after a few minutes the scent dried down into a beautiful scent. I have worn it 3 times so far and I swear it has smelled differently each time.. sounds crazy but it's almost like it feeds off my mood. This perfume is like any other I've ever had and I will definitely purchase the large size.

It’s hard to describe this fragrance , it’s one that you rarely come across. It strangely reminded me of one of my husbands perfume , in a nice comforting way. It’s feminine and dries to a powdery note on me that lingers on for hours , but it has an unusual comforting masculine woody note too... feels like You are enveloped in a cozy hug from your partner all the time. It’s definitely something that will get you compliments and stay as a fragrance staple on your shelf , for me it’s my new favorite and could remain my signature scent.

This is a safe blind-buy, extremely feminine, sweet, somehow fresh and aromatic yet slightly powdery at the same time. You can't hate this fragrance, and you'll probably like or even love it...unless you're someone who ONLY likes more unisex or unique scents.

This is a beautiful smell! It’s feminine, sweet, sexy, but not overpowering. I liked it so much that I decided to purchase a full bottle. My husband loved it too and it’s very rare that he will comment on a specific fragrance. It can be a day/night perfume during the colder seasons but, perhaps for those summer I will only wear it in the evenings.
