This is an acceptable fragrance. Acceptable for a romantic evening, acceptable for the office, acceptable for the guy, acceptable for the winter, acceptable for the summer, acceptable as a gift. What does it smell like? I don't remember because in addition to it being perfectly acceptable, it's also perfectly forgettable. Almonds maybe? Cherry coke? Tiramisu? Rosemary focaccia? Or maybe I'm just hungry.

It smells nice but I feel it doesn't last very long

This is such a masterpiece of a fragrance, I can't believe I've never tried it before. Those that are nervous about the almond note or it being too sweet, don't be, just try this! It slightly reminds me of The One by DG mixed with Xeryus Rouge but blended better. It's a really great fragrance and super versatile. Give this one a try!

Nice masculine scent that isn’t overbearing and strong.

I've been on quite a lucky streak of nothing but excellent scents that I am very, very pleased with, and this is no exception.

A sweet and bright scent that is just a touch powdery, with a strong almond note followed by tonka bean. Dries down Woody and nutty. Good overall.

Smell great but doesn’t last very long, maybe 4 hours in the fall/ winter, yet to try it in the summer it might have more projection

Smells really good, but it is definitely a fall/winter fragrance. It is registered as a summer fragrance in the platform.

I was very surprised by this fragrance. absolutely beautiful deep scent. From the top to the long dry down this fragrance evolves beautifully.. I’m definitely going for the full size bottle. Seems to me like more of a winter or fall scent.

This cologne smell really good

I really liked the woodsy scent, smelt masculine. I got compliments on it, however, the scent faded faster than I expected whilst indoors.

Was highly anticipating this one to be amazing. Not sure if I got what I wanted. It had a cherry note wasn't a spring or summer time scent but more of a fall time. Didn't get any almond on the fragrance. I'm kinda thinking I didn't get l'homme ideal edt as I've had one fragrance before that said it was PDM (one of the spring time ones) ended up getting PDM godolphin.

I think the previous reviewer, Kevin Laughlin, was pretty spot on. I would also add that even though I'd classify this as a masculine fragrance, I feel like the tonka and almond give it just enough sweetness to make it very wearable as a casual and unexpected fragrance for women, especially those who like leather.

Good for everyday wear

I like it but my not at all, hence the 3 stars.

Opening is a citrus and floral combination that is very unisex. Mid and base notes is where this fragrance shines with its sweet Tonka bean combined with leather and its signature almond, this is where the fragrance becomes more masculine. This gets points for being more unique than your average designer. Fair to good longevity and projection. Recommend for nights, dates, especially in fall or winter.
