Amazing
Elderly man vibes.
I did not like this one, the initial smell was very heavy of black licorice. As time went on that note subsided, but it still had a stinging, pungent smell. Others have mentioned reminding them of Old Spice which I think is very accurate.
Very fresh & crisp, but not as long lasting as expected. Musky tones attract compliments. A nice change from other fragrances.
It has a light, fresh scent to me. It didn't last that long and it didn't linger.
Not a fan. Has a musty smell.
No for me. This is a very strong masculine scent. It had a stinging, earthy, musky quality (almost an Arabic style influence). I would priabably like this on a man, but it has the potential to get overwhelming very quickly. Would not recommend if it is warm weather or if you are naturally hot-natured person. It was just way too masculine and heavy for me.
Smells like old spice in a not great way
Doesn't last long, otherwise a 5
A new favorite. A terrific balance of light and dark. It's not too musky, but not too floral. Definitely a scent I will earmark to purchase again later.
Smells Bad
Smooth and crisp
I love this one, very unexpected for me. Grabbed it as a part of the first time order/50% deal in a 3 pack. I love it for it's freshness, but still deep tones. As someone who loves being outdoors for all reasons, when inside this makes me feel outside. It is definitely a classic, fresh, nuanced scent. Going to grab a bottle of this ??
This one works for me. Soft and lingering. Received numerous compliments and a few offers...lol! I recommend this one.
It’s light and fruitful. I’d say it’s a younger scent. Maybe a vacation type of cologne. Not a long lasting Cologne. Very clean and refreshing smelling
Great overall scent
This is the first scent I did not enjoy. Smells too feminine what is this white diamond..
It’s ok
Unfortunately, this smells like an elderly female style of perfume to me.
Didn’t like the smell, to strong.
I had to rate a three-star because the liquid in this bottle is orange/amber but the one I received is Blue? did I even get the right one? IDK. it smells good but I feel like they sent me a different version of Azzaro that the one I chose? it's really strange and now I don't even know if I should order this bottle if I want more..
A classic scent... reminds me of something my dad would wear
Clean fresh scent, I'd buy it again.
Not my scent
The fragrance is crisp and smells really nice after a hot shower.
Love the scent got 2nd one
I didn’t like it because it was too classic smelling
not impressed
It was okay. Wouldn't mind it if it wasn't so strong
Was not a fan.. if you like Stetson then I guess you’ll like it, it reminded me of an old man cologne.. my husband decided to keep it and wear it on days he picks up his nana ???????
Love it
Love it
It was what I heard. Loved it. Other people loved it.
I like it kinda like shaving cream
This one disagreed with me. I believe it's the patchouli.
Love the scent
Ok now hold on. Dont let other reviews tell you otherwise. Give it a chance. Yes at first it goes on strong. I was already very disappointed... BUUUT... i gave it a chance At first i said naah. This ain't for me.. but .. but as it mellowed out on my skin i was like ooh ok i see you. Its very masculine. Makes me feel like i should be wearing a suit
Not exactly what I expected when ordering it, it’s a very classic smell not exactly modern. When I first got it I did not like it very much but the next couple days it definitely grew on me and when I showed it to my friends and family they all instantly liked the smell. Not exactly And every day sent for me, but definitely has redeemable qualities and the people around me seem to think it smells good
This scent is woodsy and warm and spicey and sexy all at once. It smells just great going on as it does hours later. I never get tired of this scent.
Smells old, nothing near what I thought it would be.!
Old style, classic, exactly what I like
I hate this one. I like all the listed elements it says it has but they don’t come through for me....it’s just like Old Spice sitting on your face. I went to send it back the day it came and it said “processing”, then when I got my next one I remembered to try again with this one and I guess now it’s too late? Personality “Cloying” and Occassion “Funeral Home” aren’t options in the drop downs below for some reason.
Old scent with a pleasant suffix. Nothing outstanding; neutral impression.
Definitely not my favorite cologne I have received from Scentbox. It reminds me of an aftershave my dad used to wear. It has strong tones of menthol and peppermint, perhaps. It's strong but just not the scent I'm going for. It lasts a well and the sillage is pretty heavy.
Hate it. I sent it back.
Strong scent early. Doesn’t last long. Not my favorite scent.
Literally hyped up trash axe
It's okay. It's more alcohol than anything else it seems. It does have a darker, woody smell after you get past the alcohol smell.
Strong at first but if left to rest a bit smells better over time. Spray a solid 15-20 mins b4 going out.
This fragrance smells like you the hug you get from grandma when she pretends you didn’t just catch her smoking and she puts the remaining butt out in her own palm without flinching. Strong, surprising, unforgettable scent that makes you want to pull away.
Not my personal preference when it comes to scents. It reminds me of the dude in the nightclub in the 90's that put on too much cologne.
Colognes like this are why I grew up with an aversion to cologne. Vain, obnoxious men used to overdo it with this style of cologne in the 80s, and when I tried it on recently it gave me a flashback to those days. I just have too many negative associations with this scent.
Smell did not last very long.
A bit old fashioned for my taste
Strong smell not for me
It wasnt for me . It was for more of an older man.
One of the best!
I like a lot...very sexy aroma.
Great scent as all their scents .Kevin Bahnsen
I didn't like it. Smelled like soap and baby powder. I remember liking it 30 years ago. Trading for scent of the month.
I love this stuff! I wear it for different occasions, pretty much almost anytime. I'm 38,but I've liked the deeper, spicier colognes since I was a teenager. This is in my top 5, although the scent doesn't last quite as long as I would like. But it's an amazing scent, if you're not an ace body spray addicted millennial.
Just smells cheap and like something an old man, sitting in his leather chair in his stuffy library, would wear. Maybe not even that scenario though because it smells cheaper than the original Old Spice. I’ll use it in small doses mixed with lotions and other things I wear but would definitely never purchase or request again.
Did NOT like
Dont really care for it. Kind of smells like an old ladys perfume
Smells like grandpa's cheap aftershave. Trading it in asap. If your under 60 don't get this.
A little too strong for me
Awesome, I am pleased with my selection, I didn’t know what I was doing what to look for, or even what I like, this years selections are gonna be epic compared to last years, and I upgraded to the premium which means double bonus!!! #premium #DblEpic
This smelled like an old man. Not my cup of tea. It did last all day though.
Just perfect SMELLS so good !!
Almost an exact duplicate of Old Spice aftershave, so if you want to smell identical to my grandfather, this is the one for you. Or you could go spend $7 on Old Spice from a drug store.
Too much for me
it's great for special occasions
I was told I smell like old-person. Not ideal.
Old man smell.. something my dad would use
Recieved compliments all day. Long lasting, masculine fragrance.
It’s decent nothing amazing!
The smell for me smells like hospital soap antibacterial.
Just like how English Leather used to smell, almost exactly like it. It is an old man sent but I love it.
Has an old man type of scent to it. Not really my style of cologne. Only thirdonth in with te subscription and I’m 3/3 for getting colognes that don’t last very long into the day when I spray it. ??
I understand it isn't for me to like and its a good thing that it's not up to me to rate it but tge women in my life seem to love it. I personally think it smells like the old musk cologne back in the day.
Was a massive fan of Aramis Tuscany, then I discovered this stuff,it's about a third of the price, and to my mind it's better,it's staying power is far better than Tuscany...
Exxcellent! Can't have enough of it! Used it occasionally for years at evenigns and the girls have to be shooed off. It's a real chick magnet.
I've been using Azzaro for decades now. And absolutely love the 'adult' notes this particular scent has. Haven't heard any complaints from the opposite sex either. The EdT is a bit watered down from the Aftershave, but will do nicely all around the year.
One of the only companies that I could find this product.
one of the best mens cologne different not for girly boys
Hi there! Azzaro is really one of the very best there is "outa" there. Here's my(belated, but hopefully never-too-late) advice. However pooh-poohed and derided by the pseudo-cogniscenti posting on on this site, try Cool Water by Davidoff. Also, more subtle (and/or better) than Vetiver by Guerlain (new or old, it "don't matter") is truly hard to find, if that's what you seek. For a real punch-in-the-gut (for the guys) and panty-dropper (for the ladies, as well as guys who fancy themselves as ladies - amazingly, it's works BOTH ways, it's really a bisexual thing!) there's no better than the infamous and much maligned Kouros. (NOTE: To be used ONLY in a 1:3 or higher - up to 1:9 parts by volume - dilution with 4711, or else you will be shot-on-sight by the scent police or shunned by mostly everyone in a public place or a social gathering.) Yatagan is altogether in a league of its own... Scares off men and women alike, I'd say - not the cuddly fuzzy feeling type. Tamerlane, Gigis Khan and their ilk probably smelled like that...
This scent is for special occasions, romantic dinner, etc.. anytime you want to impress. My brother wears it to the office and it smells really nice on him, depends on how well it mixes with your chemistry, whether it would work in an office environment for you. Really good for cold winter days and evenings. 25 and up age group. It does'nt work with my chemistry as well as it USE to, still a classic.
After reading so many comments I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, cannot find any in the local stores so I have to order it online. I'm a big fan of Dunhill Edition, XS is ok from time to time. Opium is too sweet for me, Drakkar - NOT for me, Dark Blue - hell no, original Cacharel is great but I used to like it better, maybe they changed formula or something. Can anybody tell me is this one really for me?
Definately not a cologne that has withstood the test of time, like other classics. Very arid and alcoholic smelling. I would dare to say that it is even worse than Aramis. I'm really baffled at all the positive reviews for this. It is not good at all.
Hey guys, a dear friend of mine wears Azzaro and loves it. It is his birthday this week and I would like to get him something different, to change his mood and brighten his spirits. He has been stuck in a rute lately. After all, scent is tied so closely to memory. If you want to make new memories, change your scent! Can anyone recommend something that is similar to Azzaro, but different? Or maybe let me know what some of your favorites are? I appreciate your help. Thanks! Feel free either to post your response here or email me directly at waterqueene@yahoo.com.
The first and finest of Lorris Azzaro's offerings. The combination of the lavender/anise opening, and the well done musky/amber dry down must be experienced to be believed. For those who appreciate timeless, classy masculine aromas, its pure bliss. Longevity and sillage will vary with the individual. If its compatible with your skin, you'll reach for this (cool weather) cologne again and again.
few words: unique (you won't get anything like it); classic (but not a cliche); misterious and oriental and warm. This is definately in my top 3. One of the best. Not for anytime and everyday wear...office or elegant wear. This perfume is a must have
Azzaro Pour Homme is the apex of men's cologne. How can there ever be a better scent created than this one.
This is the best perfume one can ever use to show its personality as the most outstanding and smart. I feel nothing is better than that
This aftershave is my all time fave, im 27yo and im sorry but you cannot beat it!!
Azzaro is one of the best and most highly complimented frags I have worn. A timeless classic - but not old smelling. Fresh and memorable. It was my wedding day fragrance. Countless compliments - honest!
The Best Ever!! A babe magnet, and smells SOOOO GOOOOD!!! NEVER STOP MAKING THIS!!!!!!!!
ONCE IT DRIES DOWN, ITS GOT TO BE ONE OF THE BEST STILL TODAY, GOOD FOR ROMANTIC USE. THIS ONE AND QUORUM, 2 OLDIE BUT GOODIES
I LIKE THIS VERY MUCH. IT MAY SMELL OLD-FASHIONED ON FIRST SPRITZ, BUT IT REALLY TAKES A TURN FOR THE BETTER ON THE DRYDOWN. I HOPE AZZARO DOESN'T STOP MAKING THIS CLASSIC SCENT.
i first used this cologne when i was 15 and from that age i became the fan of this superb masterpiece.i love it today as i loved it when i first used it.i never ever get bored with it.its my must have and my collection of colognes is incomplete without azzaro.its better then CHROME .i used chrome bt i found this one much better .azzaro pour homme is a very aromatic, elegant , sophisticated , upper upper class cologne .its very rich in ingredients as well as very rich in smelling.if u want to be a gentleman in ur office or in ur daily life use it .by the way im telling you my best kept secrets LADIES AS WELL AS GIRLS LOVE IT.girls try to come closer to me when im wearing it and im not jokin i swear its a female magnet believe it or not.my all time fav .loris plz plz dont stop making this cologne .thanks
I tell you what! this is by far the most masculine and sexy fragrence that i have ever worn, the coments i get from the ladies at work are all very flattering its like the worlds best kept secret in the perfume industry, its crisp, manly, and pure pure class, get up off your chair go to the shops and buy it now i tell you that it will be the best thing you have done in a long time, it gets the ladies like no other but dont tell your wife.
Crispy, intense, very elegant. The most masculine fragrance in my opinion. You can t go wrong!
This is a one of a kind. I have everyone asking what it is all the time. It is very memorable, and jars others' memories all the time. This is a secret weapon in the art of seduction. Believe it.
SO SEXY ,LONG LASTING FOR ALL SEASONS ALLTIMES,WHATS ELSE.YOU MUST HAVE -MASTERPIECE ,THANK U LORIS.
Distinctive & Sexy; my all-time favorite men's scent. Unfortunately, it doesn't work with my husband's chemistry!
i been using azzaro for many years,it has a great smell and let me tell you woman love it!!!
On me, it smells old, sharp and dense. May be my skin or age (im 31) - its probably nicer on men around 40 and upwards.
this fragrance is like a trade mark. people come to know that you are close - by when they smell azzaro. its a respected fragrance.
I've been wearing it since the late 80's off and on... I happened to wear it after about a year, and the reaction of women in the office was pleasantly surprising to say the least. Not everyone can wear this (many of my friends have tried it), it has to match your body chemistry.
This is a warm and very sexy fragrance. My husband has worn it for 16 years, and I still love it. I know of no other men who wear Azzaro, and that makes it even more appealing to me.
Very classy, masculin and lasts all day. Evergreen... Better than Paco Rabanne PH. Maybe not for teens but always on the top!
I try alot of different fragrances including Azzaros Chrome which is great but the original scent is cheap smelling. I threw it away I was so unimpressed with it. Its not to strong but its just not that good. Your just as well off with something like stetson.
This is not a new fragrance,I know, but is still on for some reason.Things that are worth while are not easy to come by.
...perfume of all times. OK, I agree it´s better for senior people, but I use it anyway. (I´m 26 and use it since 15.). But it´s better for evenings or office wear, not for summer.
I'm not going to give this one a rating. It's not terrible, not even bad; I've certainly smelled worse, but... I just feel like Azzaro wasn't designed for someone my age. I'm not old enough to pull it off. This smells like something a man in his 40s or 50s would wear. (Maybe I think that because I had a teacher in highschool that wore this, but there it is.) So, when I hit that territory, if I'm still here, I'll probably look this one up again. But for now, being only 32... I have to give this one a pass.
Thank you Loris Azzaro for bringing this fabulous creation in 1978. I don't know any other parfum that has such difficult-to-explain magic smell.
IT SMELLS LIKE ORIENTAL SCENTS.IT IS A LASTING,STRONG ONE AND MAYBE GOOD FOR COLD WEATHER BECAUSE IT MAKES YOU FEEL WARM AND COSY.
This cologne still smells good, but but I dont recommend it for young people, and there are many bad copies in the stores
I just purchased this, and it is a very warm scent-It is stong, and the scent stayed on me all day
It's a matter of taste after all, isn't it? I just cannot figure how some people like the smell of this fragrance. Azzaro has such a definite character, though, that one wouldn't confuse it with anything else. It is less expensive in Mexico.
Absolute classic
Is Acteur still available. That was the best men's fragrance ever! I always got compliments when wearing it but can no longer find it. Help me!
My husband has worn this fragrance as long as I have known him ( and long before). Although I have brought home others for him to try, he did not budge. I must admit, there is nothing else like it on him. Where we live, it is difficult to come by, so I have always purchased it via the internet or on trips (especially when we visit his family in S.America -- it is much less expensive there than in the U.S.). This is a warm, sexy and tantalizing, but NOT overpowering scent !
Thanks, for your timely response!! Now I know where to start my Christmas shopping!!
Where can I buy this perfume? Is it still produced or not?
