This is a phenomenal fragrance, however, the green note is just a tad too strong for me.
Smells extremely acidic and vinegary on me as well as gave me a headache and made me nauseous. Not a fan unfortunately :(
Fragrance smells like a divorcee office woman. Shame such a revered brand would put out such a poor performance.
How did you do it again?! Refreshing fragrance choice. I really adore the light but fresh scent this gives off. It is not floral or powdery which I am not a fan of. Slight aquatic but clean green sent. I wish it had a touch more staying power, but it is the exact notes that I prefer. Clean but not cleaner smell, sweet-ish but not gourmand, and a slight tone of citrus spice that is great for everyday. Love love love!
Unisex, subtle, fruity
4 stars only because it doesn't last. This is my favorite scent ever! It has a perfect mix of bright bergamot with a touch of warm cedar and then settles to a unique fig accent. I literally feel an emotional response every time I spray it. Been using this for years. I like this for Spring/Summer and in Winter I like MLK Baccarat Rouge 540 or Tom Ford Lost Cherry - so I tend to gravitate toward the unique scents. It is like a vacation in a bottle. I can understand that the cedar is not to everyones taste, but I don't find it strong. The only trouble is - it stays very close to the skin and does not last. I have had some luck with FragranceLock, but I like a good sillage so I have to spray a lot throughout the day.
I have been wearing this for years and I always thought it was a beautiful fragrance. The strong hint of fig gives you kind of a original fragrance, original smell.
Not my usual scent profile but love it. Light and very pretty. Definitely a great pick.
I love this, it's perfect for summer!
Easily the best of the Un Jardin line. This fragrance is so beautiful and complex. Figgy, woody, fresh, floral, it hits nearly every fragrance profile.
This fragrance is different from my usual choice. It smells of mint and cedar. It's definitely green smelling with a touch of sweetness.
Love it! Not overly sweet or musky, just the right hint of each.
Nope. Not for me. It was cloying, and smelled too much of pine or cedar for my taste. I had to wash it off. Too bad because I had heard so many good things about this fragrance!
This is one of about two fragrances that people have actually stopped me in the street asking what I was wearing! It makes me feel as though I were in the Eastern Med, high among the ancient ruins, basking in the sun. ...
Spenser, Mediterranee can absolutely be worn by men and women. My husband loves this and he frequently borrows it - it's beautiful on him. I don't completely agree with the Burberry comparisons, as Mediterranee is more fig and fern and mint. . . OMG, that lovely mint. Still has a touch of cedar, but it's used differently than in Burberry. Incidentally, my husband has also borrowed my Burberry on occasion (in return, I wear his Bvlgari Black and Blv Notte frequently). I think our society is too concerned about packaging that is "just for women" or "just for men." Simply wear what you like with confidence and pleasure. I highly recommend Mediterranee for anyone.
This fragrance makes me headache. It smells like chili sauce from Indonesia (Sambal Cobek/ sambal terasi), so disgusting. My comment about this fragrance "The worst Fragrance by Hermes".
